Welcone to the Trauma Survival Run! The trauma department at CHRISTUS Health will be hosting a Trauma Survival Run on May 10th in support of National Trauma Survivors Day. We want to share some information with you about this topic! The month of May is national trauma awareness month; and with this comes the Thank goal of raising awareness and stressing the importance of timely access to necessary resource for trauma-related injuries. Patients who experience a traumatic injury are at risk for suffering, long-term physical consequences associated with their injuries. The experience can affect both the patient and family, as well as potentially leaving lasting psychological, emotional, and spiritual effects as a result of thistrauma. CHRISTUS Health hopes to bring awareness to the sensitive topic by hosting our first ever trauma survival run. Please join us. All proceeds go to programs to support the trauma patients.
