Join Bergen County Camera and award winning photographer Matt Malwitz for a two part introduction to Wildlife Photography! This class will cover the basics of finding wildlife while keeping their wellbeing a priority, understanding lighting conditions, composing eye catching images, and the tools you’ll need to make it happen.

The class will be followed up by a photo walk on

Workshop includes:
1 High-quality empty glass globe, colorful glass beads, mosaic glass (please note: colors may vary), US-based plug, chic table lamp body, matching table lamp lid, warm LED bulb, glass-safe glue, disposable gloves, sponge, grout, mixing bowl, spatula, and tweezers.

if project is not completed within 2 hour timeframe- grouting process can be completed at home

This class is designed to provide the basics of digital photography regardless of the type of digital camera you are shooting or even if you are looking to buy your first. Topics to be covered include basic camera operation, batteries, storage media, card readers, choosing a resolution, compression, limitations and advantages of digital photography, making prints & enlargements, and storing & archiving images. Of course there will be plenty of time for questions at the end of the presentation.

Topics to be covered include advanced camera operation; white balance, raw file format, time exposures and flash. Additional topics to be discussed include the exposure triangle (shutter speeds, f-stops, ISO) and how they effect your image, composition, converging verticals, tripods, monopods, self timers, keeping your images safe and more. You'll also receive a list of assignments to test your knowledge.
