We’ll talk about how you can re-purpose jars from your own kitchen to create thoughtful pieces for indoor or outdoor spaces. It’s a calming, creative make and a lovely way to ease into macramé if you’re new to it. I’ll provide jars on the day, but if you have a smaller jar at home that you’d love to use (gherkin or jam jars work beautifully), feel free to bring it along. We are delighted to host Robert Deas, illustrator for the enormously popular The Phoenix Comic , for an illustration workshop as part of the Lincoln Children's Book Week hosted by Waterstones Lincoln. Robert Deas is an illustrator for the Phoenix Comic, the creator of FAWN, and lead artist on the Comics Club drawing tutorial series. Robert joined us in-store for the Waterstones Children's Book Festival, and we are delighted to welcome him back to the shop! As a illustrator for The Phoenix Comic - which also features artists such as Jamie Smart ( Bunny vs Monkey ) and Neill Cameron ( Mega Robo Bros ) - it is an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business.
