722 Breakfast Club & Saskatoon Startupweek | Hunger Cure Restro Bar

Jun 11, 2025 (UTC-6)ENDED
Saskatoon
Cultural Experiences
Start your morning with insight and inspiration at this special edition of 722 Breakfast Club , presented in partnership with Saskatoon Startupweek 2025 . Our guest speaker is Robert Skarzynski , founder of Sidings.ca —a bold startup reimagining how North American railcar storage and siding infrastructure is marketed and managed. With years of experience in logistics and transportation, Robert recognized the inefficiencies in how railway sidings are discovered, booked, and utilized. In response, he built Sidings.ca—a centralized, map-driven platform that brings transparency and modern tools to a long-overlooked sector of the rail industry. Robert will share lessons from building a tech-first business in a traditional space, including how to challenge the status quo, win trust in a legacy-driven market, and design platforms that simplify complex logistics. Join us for breakfast, real talk, and the chance to connect with fellow founders and changemakers. Information Source: 722 Breakfast Club | eventbrite

Cultural Experiences
Join us for our 5th and final nooner for the 2024-25 season. We are excited to have Eric Cline with us for the June nooner. Lunch will start at 12:00pm with the presentation at 12:20pm till 1:00pm. Eric Cline practised law in his hometown of Saskatoon prior to serving 16 years in the Saskatchewan legislature where he held several senior cabinet positions, including health, finance, and industry and resources. After his time in politics, he worked for 12 years as a corporate executive in the mining sector. He then established an arbitration practice, which continues. He also works as a professional fused glass artist. He has a King's Counsel (K.C.) designation as a lawyer and is a Juried Member (peer designation) of the Saskatchewan Craft Council in the category of glass. He is the author of two books and his writing has been published in the Globe and Mail, National Post, Quillette online magazine, and will appear in an upcoming edition of Walrus magazine. His recent book Squandered-Canada's Potash Legacy outlines the history of potash mining development in Saskatchewan and provides documentation for its thesis that there is a gross imbalance between windfall profits being made by potash companies operating in Saskatchewan, the price being paid to the people of the province for their potash. The book has been described by prominent economists, journalists and academics as "a significant contribution to thinking about resource policy,"... "a penetrating analysis," ... "an important book that should outrage all Saskatchewan citizens," and "a thoughtful analysis ... destined to become a standard work on the political economy of this province." Cultural Experiences
Join us under the summer Solstice sky surrounded by nature for a night of deep healing and connection as we embrace the season of light and expansion.  This is your invitation to journey inward with our immersive itinerary: Grounding: we’ve chosen a serene backyard location with lush grass surrounded by towering trees to connect with nature. The Earth's surface maintains a limitless supply of free electrons that act as natural antioxidants and restores the body's natural electrical state. Cacao Ceremony: Cacao has a long history that honours its sacredness. The origins behind Cacao are as mysterious as the complex magic found within its fruit and seed containing a kaleidoscope of antioxidants, nutrients, and mood elevating properties. It is regarded as a heart opening medicine for people to work with intentions and experience awakening, revelation and inner healing. Cellular Regeneration: a breathwork experience designed to cleanse, regenerate, and awaken your cells, reconnecting you with the innate power of healing that lives within you. The session merges down-regulation breathwork, immersive 9D soundscapes, guided visualization, and vibrational affirmations to activate a deep cellular reset that supports emotional detox and energetic renewal. With each breath you release tension, dissolve old wounds, and recalibrate your nervous system. Whether you’re healing emotional wounds, recovering from burnout, or simply seeking a powerful reset, this journey is a portal back to wholeness.  Soundbath: the harmonious embrace of Crystal Tones singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks and vocals to guide the body into its natural healing rhythm. An infusion of high frequency sound, binaural beats, and solfeggio frequencies with resonance that are not simply heard by the ear but felt in the body. Access Bars and Pendulum Energy Clearing for a powerful energetic reset: Access Bars involves gently touching 32 points on the head to release mental clutter, limiting beliefs, and stored emotional energy while Pendulum Energy Clearing works to detect and shift energetic blockages in the chakras and auric field helping to restore balance and flow. Together these modalities support deep relaxation, clarity, emotional release and energetic alignment creating space for healing and a renewed sense of self. What to bring: yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water bottle. Cost is $80, or spread the magic and bring a friend for $60 each. Information Source: Blue Moon Retreats | eventbrite
