This means that participants can expect up to 12 dates during the event. Participants can expect a minimum of 7 dates. If there are not 7 people of each gender signed up for an event, the event will be rescheduled and participants will recieve a full ticket refund. Your safety and confidentiality are important to us. Old School Swipe will only exchange participants' emails with other event attendees if a mutual connection ("match") is noted by both parties. Speed daters will recieve an email with the email addresses of both their match and friendship connections within 24 hours of the event. Event Cancellation and Refund policy: -If the event is cancelled you will be issued a full refund, including the Eventbrite processing fee. -Before registering please check the event title on Eventbrite to confirm that male or female tickets are still available for purchase (if sold out the event title will read for example, "Niagara Region Speed Dating May 31st- male tickets sold out"). Please note that if you sign up to an event that has already been sold out you will be refunded the event ticket price. However, in this instance, OSS is unable to refund the Eventbrite processing fee. The same holds true for events that are waitisted. If an event is waitlisted it will be stated in the event title for example, "Niagara Region Speed Dating May 31st ***Waitlist for Women". If the event is waitlisted, please email Oldschoolswipe@gmail.com to be added to the waitlist. Old School Swipe will reach out to you once an additional speed dating spot has opened up and an event ticket can be purchased at that time. -Cancellation requests will be processed up to (& including/on) June 25th. Participants are permitted to transfer their ticket into another attendee's name for the same event at any time. -Refunds will not be issued for participants that show up late or who request a refund due to illness.
