In 2024, Queensland Ballet will be collaborating with NOOSA alive! once again, bringing two stunning works to the stage. This includes a world premiere by renowned Australian choreographer Jack Lister. The performances will take place at The J Theatre in Noosa on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 7.30 pm.
Queensland Ballet is a dynamic and creative company that aims to connect people through dance across Queensland. Their program features world-class productions of classical ballets and contemporary dance works. The company collaborates with acclaimed choreographers and designers from around the globe and supports emerging local talent by presenting exciting new works. With acclaim both nationally and internationally, Queensland Ballet's dancers have impressed audiences worldwide. They also provide professional dance training at their Academy and offer inspiring education and community engagement programs throughout Queensland.
Jack Lister, an accomplished Australian dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker, will be showcasing his talent as part of this collaboration. His works have received critical and audience acclaim, with screenings at prestigious film festivals and numerous awards. Lister is currently an Associate Choreographer with Queensland Ballet and Creative Associate with Australasian Dance Collective.
The Jette Parker Young Artist Program, generously supported by various foundations, offers apprenticeships to talented young dancers, providing them with elite training and performance opportunities. Many of these young artists seamlessly transition into becoming company artists for Queensland Ballet or other ballet companies both in Australia and internationally.

This is where Mitchell draws his inspiration from and where he is painting his stunning new collection, captured in his distinctive impasto style and expression, for his eagerly awaited sixth solo exhibition, Seasons Stain The Vein.
