Calling all young artists and creators! Join us for a vibrant and imaginative day at our school holiday workshops. With three elements to the day, you can pick just one, two, or all three. Session 1 - Mixed Workshop - $35 Dive into the captivating world of art with our Mixed Media Workshop! 🎨 Unleash your inner artist as you explore the exciting fusion of various materials, techniques, and textures. From paints and pastels to paper, fabric, and found objects, you'll learn how to combine different elements to create truly pop multi-dimensional Floral masterpieces. Our teachers will guide you through the process, helping you experiment, layer, and express yourself in ways you've never imagined. 30 Mins Supervised lunch break - remember to pack a lunch Session 2 - Outdoor Games Session - $30 It's time to put down those paintbrushes and pick up some fun at our Outdoor Play Session. Step into a world of excitement and laughter as we invite the kids to take a break from creating and unleash their inner explorers. Join us in the beautiful green space, where the possibilities for play are endless. From Tug of war, ball games, yard games, outdoor relaxing areas, and more. Session 3 - Makedo Cardboard Creations - $35 We will expand the bounds of imagination and creativity by allowing children to create anything using the awesome Makedo Creation tools. Elisabeth Cummings, Steven Lopes and Shonah Trescott will be discussing their connection to each other, their travels and art practice with Senior Curator Kim Blunt. Lineage celebrates the dynamic interplay of tradition and innovation through eight diverse but related artistic practices. The exhibition invites us on a journey through the captivating conversations of these very distinct creative voices, each individually contributing to a shared narrative of artistic heritage. As we traverse the generational spectrum, Lineage offers a glimpse into the influences, transformations, and enduring themes that help shape the ongoing evolution of art.
