IFG Tournament of Roses 2025 | Rose City Futsal WEST
Jun 28, 2025 (UTC-7)ENDED
Tigard
IFG Tournament of Roses 2025
IMPORTANT NOTE: All competitors must purchase the base admission PLUS tickets for any events they want to compete in. If you purchase base admission you do not need to buy any other tickets, such as after-party or free sparring, just the tickets for your tournaments.
SECONDARY NOTE: Please note your club affiliation and the name that HEMA Ratings has for you when processing payment. Additionally, if the tickets are for someone else please give their name and club information.
FINAL NOTE: Rules will be similar to last year and can be found at https://www.indesferoxgladio.com/2025-tournament-rulesets
Updates will be posted there and at HEMA Scorecard
You only need to buy a Free Sparring ticket or Spectator Past w/After Party Admission if you have NOT purchased base admission.
Come do battle in the City of Roses! A 2-day event featuring 4 tournaments, a dedicated bay for mixed weapon free sparring/ad hoc games and events, an on-site pub and dedicated 2nd floor viewing mezzanine.
Currently planned tournaments are: Open Longsword, WNBT (women/non-binary/trans) Longsword, Rapier, Sword & Buckler.
The Base Admission covers access to both the after-party and the sparring pit. All tickets are good for both days of the event.
Official after-party will be held on-site at Clyde's Pub, with beer and food available throughout the day. Free parking at the venue.
We are asking for volunteers for judging, but all fighters should expect to be called upon to judge.
Check back here regularly for updates on tournament rulesets and other info.
EXTRA IMPORTANT NOTE ON TICKETS:
This year we are trying an experimental pricing structure to encourage accessibility to fencers with tighter budgets. As such there are 3 tiers of base admission: Donor, Standard, and Scholarship. This is an expensive event to run so we've had to limit scholarship tickets in order to remain financially solvent, but each Donor ticket purchased will unlock more Scholarship level tickets, so your commitment to a higher tier will go directly towards enabling others to attend this event. Tournament of Roses is 100% volunteer run, so all money contributed through the Donor Tickets goes directly into opening up more scholarship tickets, none of it goes to us.
Donor Ticket (High Price Tier)
Event Ticket:
$135
Why Choose This Tier:
Choosing the Donor Patron tier helps fund accessible tickets for others. You’re directly supporting your community’s ability to show up, thrive, and cross swords with dignity. Your contribution ensures someone else doesn’t have to choose between rent and joy. We know this is a bit of an ask and we appreciate your generosity.
Standard Ticket (Mid Price Tier)
Event Ticket:
$85
Why Choose This Tier:
Pretty much what it says on the tin. Buying a standard ticket covers your share of the costs of putting on the event.
Scholarship Ticket (Low Price Tier)
Event Ticket:
$25
Why Choose This Tier:
You’re navigating financial hardship. Paying full price for this event would mean giving something else up—like food, medication, transit, or rent. Maybe you are housing insecure. Maybe you are a student, underemployed, or impacted by chronic illness. Maybe you face systemic barriers tied to your race, gender, disability, immigration status, or other identities that make daily life more expensive and challenging.
Why This Tier Exists:
We believe that HEMA is for everybody, regardless of income. We don’t want to exclude people from our event based on income level. If this tier makes it possible for you to attend—please choose it, guilt-free. We’re honored to have you here.
Final Notes:
This tiered ticket structure applies to
event registration
only.
Your
event registration
is required for you to participate in any tournaments. Please select the tournament tickets under the tier you registered for the event at.
Tournament fees
are separate per event you compete in.
All participants, regardless of tier, receive the
same experience
, hospitality, and honor on the field.
