Prepare for all two-wheel adventures at The Active Way's upcoming Dr Bike Event in Peasedown Saint John. Scheduled for April 29, 2024, at The Hive on Bath Road, BA2 8DH, this event offers a unique opportunity to have your bike undergo a thorough safety check by experienced mechanics, all at no cost. The team will inspect your bike for any necessary minor repairs, such as replacing inner tubes, adjusting brake and gear cables, handlebars, and saddle, as well as lubricating working parts and inflating tires. While e-bikes are welcome for minor repairs, electrical maintenance is not included in the service. Upon arrival at your chosen time slot, you will be greeted by The Active Way team and the Dr Bike mechanic. You can observe the repair process or explore the facilities while enjoying a hot beverage and a snack at the Café. After the mechanic completes the work, they will provide a detailed report on the repairs conducted and suggest any additional maintenance needed. Please note that the service does not include bike cleaning or servicing of certain components like disc brakes, suspension forks, and tubeless tires.
