HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Narita

While the check-in was smooth and the english-speaking staff at concierge was detailed in the available facilities e.g. sauna chargeable at 550 yen per pax, I was shocked by how unclean the room I stayed in was, at the highest level 11: dust was perpetually flying visibly in the air and worse if you smack the stained bed a bit; could see the dust and dirt stuck on TV remote control; there were stains on the bed; there were hair strands in the bathroom (e.g. bathtub); and there was a foul stench when I opened the bathroom (the kind that wet clothes did not dry properly hence proving the lack of ventilation in the bathroom). Thankfully I stayed for one night only though I did not use the facilities. The hotel seemed popular with other airline staff and tourists (Chinese, Thai, Korean) who could be rowdy at the lobby area and convenience store located at level 1 of the hotel. I did not feel exactly safe. All in all, I would strongly discourage booking this hotel.

Good location. We used the shuttle bus the two days that we were there. We lined up for it about 10-15 min before it left and it’s good we did because this hotel is the last stop so one of the days everybody in line were not able to get the bus. There is a very close public bus stop you can use as well that we used to come back one night because we didn’t want to stay until the park closed. It’s over a 15 min walk from the closest subway station so that was not fun walking to and from the hotel with our suitcases.

It’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff. Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely atmosphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available. Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point. Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time. suggestions: (1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues. (2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while.
Comfort Hotel Narita

You don't need to take a bus to the hotel. You can take the Keisei Electric Railway from Narita Airport to Narita City. Two stops. It is very convenient for tourists like me who have a short stay for a day. The railway system is very convenient, but Narita Station does not seem to be designed for tourists. So if you have a piece of luggage, you can barely cope at Narita Station. It is quite tiring to walk the ladders of the station with your luggage. It is necessary to tell the exact location of the airport to do your homework in advance and study the map. Walking to the pedestrian passage of the elevated railway can see the hotel. As for the hospitality, I want to say that this is a Japanese-style hotel rather than a Western-style hotel. The check-in staff was very service-conscious and thoughtfully led me to the hotel on the third floor. The lobby did not belong to the hotel. As with all other government policies, passports or Japanese identity certificates are required at check-in. I found that their English skills are still no problem in communication, but don't expect all your questions to be answered. The hotel room is quiet, clean and comfortable. The size of the Japanese-style hotel room is dwarfed by the nature of the Western-style hotel. However, the basic needs of staying can still be met: tables, bathrooms, beds. The view of the room is very boring, facing the wall of another building. There was no smell in the room and it was super clean. Breakfast is served in the morning. The supply time is the same every day. This is the style of Japanese work. It is not possible to advance or push for a minute. The food is not Western, so there is no need to be hopeful. What impressed me most here was its cleanliness and service quality, although the name of the hotel looked a little cheaper than other hotels. Much more comfortable than the so-called comfortable hotels I have stayed in North America. Stayed for one night and left early in the morning, so I didn't know the check-out time. After I checked in, I took the train to Akihabara and Tokyo. The hotel is located in Narita City. From the hotel, you can go to the other side of the city. You can find these attractions of the Buddha Temple in half an hour. Along the way you will find a true Japanese life, feeling different from the rhythms of life in western Tokyo.

The hotel's location is really good, you can walk to the hotel from Narita station in just about 5 minutes. It is also located near the Keisei station with about 5 minutes walk, which is very convenient. There are many resteraunts and convenient stores around the hotel. Officers at the front desk can well communicate in english. Amenities were quite completely provided. There are also microwave and vending machine provided in the common area on each floor. A room is small though.

The room was big and quiet. There is a convenience store, cafe, and restaurant on 1st floor. There is a laundromat, too. There was no water in the room, but there is a container for ice. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport and the Aeon shopping center. I do not like smoke and the floor I was on did not smell like smoke; however, in the annex hallway it did smell like smoke and I had to walk through the connecting hallway to get to the ice machine. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet even included a supplement bar.

Near Narita airport with shuttle bus to Narita train station, Aeon mall and Narita airport. Hotel is with Lawson 24hrs convenience store and Onsen. Breakfast is excellent with wide variety of local and international food. Recommend to choose the new wing rather than the old wing with bigger room as its old as suggested by previous hotel guests 👍
