Hotel Monville Montreal

Downtown Montreal
We stayed at Hotel Monville and wanted to share my thoughts. The location is undeniably great, offering convenient access to historical places. However, I found that the hotel didn't quite live up to the expectations set by its photos. While the pictures showcased a sleek and modern interior, the reality fell a bit short. The overall ambiance and amenities didn't match the level of sophistication depicted in the promotional images. It's important for future guests to be aware that the visual representation may differ from the actual experience. Despite this, the location's convenience remains a strong point, and if that's a top priority for you, Hotel Monville might still be a suitable choice. Just be prepared for a slightly different atmosphere than what the photos may suggest.

Before Montreal, I have stayed at FS Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Dubai, San Francisco, Macau, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Sydney, Beijing.. This one was by far the worst four seasons I ever stayed even tho the room was amazing with modern design and highly automated. Let alone the extremely bad experience when I checked in which I could write 2000 words about, they even can’t supply enough hot water.. it’s just warm or u could even say it cold as u got your AC on in your room. And they put under construction post near my room idk if it’s because of the argument while checking in then they coming at me, I wish not. I could’ve reported the whole situation to four seasons official email , Instagram, Facebook, Google review etc but I chose to forgive.

The Robifford Hotel is a hotel fairly close to the Montreal Airport in Canada. It is very cost-effective. Although it only has a three-star rating on the surface, I actually felt that it was already at the level of a four-star hotel when I stayed there. The floors of the Robifford Hotel are not very high, reaching up to the third floor. There are also many conference halls next to the lobby. We often see many companies holding events or speeches there, and many business people come and go here. There is a supermarket 5 minutes' walk next to the Robiford Hotel, which is very convenient. You can buy food and drink at once. You can also reach the subway station within a 10-minute walk, making it much more convenient to go wherever you want to go. There is also a famous Big Orange opposite the Robifford Hotel. The special orange juice and hot dog burgers sold there are super delicious. There is also a McDonald's next to Robifford, which is very convenient for eating. If you’re craving burgers, there’s also a 24-hour Harvey’s burger restaurant. As for the hotel, the Internet WiFi speed is stable, the shower facilities are complete, and the shower gel and shampoo are sufficient. However, for the sake of environmental protection, the hotel does not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, nor does it provide mineral water. If you want mineral water, you can go to the supermarket downstairs to buy it. The hotel will be cleaned every day. There is also a capsule coffee machine available in the room and tea can be made. There is also a refrigerator in the room where you can freeze things. The TV has a wide selection of channels, including French and English channels. The advantage of staying at the Robifford Hotel is that if you want to go to Montreal Airport or go to Mount Royal for sports, it only takes 20 minutes to get there by taxi, which is very convenient. Just 15 minutes' walk from the Robifford Hotel, you can also reach the nearest post office, where you can send postcards. There is also a Starbucks next door where you can buy city commemorative mugs. Overall, although the Robifford Hotel, located in the suburbs of Montreal, Canada, is not as lively as the city, it is surrounded by shops and restaurants. You are not afraid of starving to death, as long as you can walk. The Robifford Hotel is one of the best hotels in Montreal, and I highly recommend everyone to experience it.

Temporarily booked room, get confirmation soon. The location is very convenient, opposite the largest shopping plaza nearby. The front desk service was very attentive and the room was clean and tidy. Will stay again next time.

The indirect lighting under the TV keeps flickering and is too dim when turned off There are no spare toothbrushes or lotions, so I simply bring my own. Although the room description does not mention that there is a bathtub, the photo does, so you may need to adjust the photo. The soundproofing is very poor. There is the sound of fire trucks at night, and the sound of children running in the corridor early in the day. It's hard to avoid... But the room is quite big, and the bath towels, toiletries, and TV are all of a certain level. Also very close to the subway station

Because of the epidemic, Canada has closed its borders, so I can only go through the border one day in advance and check into the hotel to prepare for the next day's flight. The hotel’s service is attentive, the room has been allocated when you arrive one hour after booking

Hotels are relatively hard to find. When I checked in, there were only two paper towels left in the bathroom. I don't know what the housekeeper was thinking. It was minus 15 degrees Celsius, it was snowing heavily, and the heater was not turned on when I entered the room. . . Nothing else to say.
