Overall, we had a great stay at Shanghai Elong. The location is excellent, and the service was consistently professional and friendly. However, a few things took away from the experience—many guests were smoking in the lifts and toilets, which was unpleasant. On our check-out day, they started changing the carpet, and there was glue all over the floor, which made our shoes sticky. Despite these issues, it was still a good stay and we’d consider coming back.

We are very pleased to stay in this hotel. The room is spacious and warm. The AI control is easy and traveller friendly! It is a new hotel! They accept foreigner tourist and the receptionist are all approachable and friendly!

We had a pleasant stay at the Yitel hotel. Very convenient to the subway & all major tourist attractions. Front desk staff very helpful & I like that the hotel didn’t stink of smoke like the other ones we’ve stayed in during our trip to China. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Shanghai.

The hotel has a very convenient location — right by the main pedestrian street, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and easy access to the metro. There’s a small gym, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, they even let me check in an hour early after a long flight. Breakfast was decent by Chinese standards. The only downside was that my room had no view of the city, but on the plus side, it was perfectly quiet and I couldn’t hear any noise from the busy street, which made it easy to sleep. Overall, a good stay for the price.

The hotel is situated near a metro station so access is generally nice. Interior design is modern and the staff here are all very friendly and helpful as well. It’s also only minutes away from Huangpu River and a ferry pier with a route heading to Lujiazui where oriental pearl tower is. It’s a pleasant experience staying at this hotel.

The hotel is tucked deep in a small drive-in so it's quiet but the location is walking distance to The Bund and shopping stretch along Nanjing Road. Many coffee joints down the road where people were enjoying caffeine and the sights and taking selfies and photos of the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. Service was great. There were many many guests coming in and out and the staff seemed overwhelmed but managed well. We got a free upgrade to a family room as the one we booked wasn't ready after waiting for an hour. Very nice offer since we were actually quite early for check-in. All in room items were complimentary and this is the 2nd of 3 ATOUR hotels I picked for this entire trip. Will recommend to friends and family for sure. Hope the next one is as comfortable.

Location is excellent. Come out of exit 3 of the Nanjing Rd East station & either cut through the Hongyi Plaza or around it, walk about 200m? So proximity to the Nanjing Pedestrian street, The Bund & Line 2 of the subway is all excellent. (While others might find the Nanjing Rd too touristy, we find the convenience of being able to go to & from PVG airport without having to change trains whilst pulling luggage more important) This is also probably one of the newest hotels in the area so it is clean & modern. The staff are helpful & accommodating. They have breakfast that is not entirely just Chinese dishes like some hotels (but don't expect international chain hotel variety though). As for facilities, it is not a big hotel so there's a small gym without weights, not sure if there's a pool, didnt check. But there's free laundry room which is great. Bottom line, if i am staying in Nanjing Rd, i will definitely choose again.

The place and location is good.  We were unlucky to meet early summer in March and the hotel does not provide air conditioning. The staff told us to open the window and yes, the next room also open the window and smoke cigarette that caused the smell came into our room.  With the sign “non-smoking”and condition set on reservation, doesn’t seem to strict with this rule. We call the receptionist after midnight asking to change room. It was so hot that we cannot sleep the staff promised to give us a fan next day -they left us nothing next day that we had to ask them to find one again!!! I would have changed hotel if knowing that they didn’t take this situation seriously. With the price we paid this is not appropriate. Staff is actually good with helping along with other issues but with what I experience here -there will not be my next time here. Photo is the fan they finally found without base.

Superb hotel at a quiet yet accessible location. Staff were really friendly, room was very comfortable, usage of space was well thought out of and no smell of smoke at all. Breakfast spread was scrumptious, and they even had free yummy porridge with side dishes for all hotel guests in the evening, which was a very thoughtful gesture! We also really loved the free laundry service which was so convenient and easy to use. Hotel was smart throughout - TV had info about whether the laundry and dryer machines were occupied, and we could order delivery and the robot helper delivered it to our room. Shoutout to Changpu 菖蒲 aunty who packed breakfast for us 💕 I’ll definitely book my stay with this hotel again when I’m back in Shanghai! Only gripe was that during the weekend, the porridge dishes were very quickly finished by other guests and not promptly refilled, but since it’s free it wasn’t that big of a deal, just left us a tiny bit disappointed since it was so yummy! 🥹
