"Service: Absolutely amazing 👍🏻 We had a dedicated butler who contacted us via WeChat, ready to assist us with anything at any time.
Swimming Pool: I went for a swim in the evening for half an hour. It wasn't crowded, the water was clean, and it was very relaxing.
Room & Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated, but the 5-star hotel amenities are still quite good. There's also a cute pet farm where you can interact with alpacas and sika deer. The hotel provides a very convenient shuttle service. We were even given a free room upgrade!
As it happened to be my birthday, they specially decorated the room for me and actually surprised me with a free 6-inch birthday cake—which was just fantastic! They also sent up a fruit platter in the evening.
Direct Access to Hot Springs: The hotel has direct access to the Julong Volcanic Hot Springs, and hotel guests enjoy unlimited soaking privileges during their stay, which is super convenient."

"Traveling to Jilin with two kids, we chose the World Trade Markham Hotel, and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is right by the Songhua River, and opening the window in our high-floor room offered a magnificent river view – the kids were absolutely thrilled looking out. The room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and they even provided children's slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a rich variety of options, including many that the kids enjoyed. The heated swimming pool was the biggest surprise; after a day of sightseeing, taking the kids for a swim helped us relax and shake off the travel fatigue. The location is convenient for getting around and dining. The service was prompt and responsive. Staying here with two kids was stress-free and comfortable, making it perfect for a family trip."

"For my trip to Yanji, I chose to stay at the Huayi Kairuos Hotel for two nights, and my overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I really have to commend their attention to detail when it comes to service.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a bellhop quickly came over, proactively took our luggage, and guided us to the front desk for check-in. He also thoughtfully pointed out the electric car charging stations by the entrance, mentioning that if we were driving, we could park directly in their exclusive parking spots, saving us the trouble of finding one ourselves. The front desk attendant who checked us in was exceptionally warm and enthusiastic. After verifying our information, she specifically told us that the panoramic French windows of our Deluxe Family Room overlooked the Yanji River, offering a fantastic view. She also handed us a pre-prepared local sightseeing card, which marked out walking routes to popular spots like the Yanbian University internet-famous wall, the West Market, and the Water Market. She even circled the most authentic ginseng chicken soup restaurant nearby for us.
During our stay, one evening we returned to the hotel quite late after exploring. A bellhop, seeing us carrying bags full of Yanji local specialties, immediately came forward to help us with them. He accompanied us all the way to our room door and even reminded us that if the sensor lights in the hallway weren't bright enough at night, we could call the front desk anytime. The next day, when we were heading out for a walk in People's Park, a young lady at the front desk saw that we had an elderly person with us. She proactively offered us two complimentary bottles of mineral water and told us the closest entrance to the park, as well as where to find fewer stairs for an easier walk.
The panoramic breakfast experience on the 24th floor was also excellent. The local specialties like Tteok (rice cakes), cold noodles, and kimchi were all authentic. From a window seat, you could directly overlook the entire city night view of Yanji and the sunrise in the morning. The super-sized bathtub in the room was incredibly relaxing after a day of activities. The panoramic French windows offered views of the Yanji River, and our child had a blast playing in the tatami area.
The most pleasant surprise was on the day we checked out. We had so much luggage that we couldn't carry it all ourselves. The bell staff were already waiting in the lobby to help us load it into the car. The front desk even specially gave us two small bags of local Korean ethnic minority snacks, suggesting we could eat them if we got hungry on the road. From the moment we entered until we left, the enthusiasm of every staff member felt genuine, not just a perfunctory politeness. They truly put the guests' needs first. If you're visiting Yanji and want a hassle-free and comfortable stay, choosing this hotel is definitely a safe bet. I will certainly stay here again on my next visit to Yanji."

"The service and location of this hotel are absolutely amazing! The doorman helped with our luggage upon arrival, wheeled it to our room, and generally made things very easy.
Even during peak season, the room service staff were incredibly patient and helpful, bringing water and replenishing supplies without us even needing to ask twice. It was really heartwarming.
We were also able to fully enjoy all the benefits included, which was great.
The hotel's location is also worth mentioning – it's excellent. There's an underground passage that leads directly to Wanda's central commercial area and places like Hallasan, which is super convenient. Wanda really surprised us during this trip to Changbai Mountain. It was fantastic. Special thanks to our butler, Tina, who was very meticulous and thoughtful."

Throughout our stay, Tu Tu from the executive lounge provided excellent and thoughtful service. She added us on WeChat early on to inform us about our benefits and scenic spot reservation details, which made our entire check-in process incredibly smooth. On the day of arrival, we even received complimentary pastries and fruit. The room was spacious with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering beautiful mountain views (՞ਊ՞)👍. The benefits were great fun, but since our child was too young, he couldn't enjoy many of them. We'll definitely bring him back when he's a bit older."

Hotels in Yanji
"Our flight arrived early, and the front desk staff kindly arranged for us to check in ahead of time, which we really appreciated. The DoubleTree by Hilton is definitely considered a high-end benchmark in Yanji, and everything from the environment to the service was excellent. We stayed for three days and two nights and found it very comfortable overall!
However, there are still a few points I'd like to share, even after discussing them in person:
1. The hotel is very close to the border, and Yanji is a rapidly emerging city for cultural tourism. During our stay, we saw celebrities and foreign visitors, which suggests it should be a highly inclusive hotel. Yet, at breakfast, when we asked the chef for a simple bowl of plain cooked vegetables, we were met with a firm refusal and an impatient tone. From a business perspective, I had already paid for breakfast; how much cost could two women incur from a 100+ RMB breakfast? Moreover, in the near future, more guests with dietary restrictions, such as pure vegetarians, those needing gluten-free options, or those with severe allergies, will surely visit Yanji as its popularity grows. Customized service is key to creating a differentiated experience. (After we raised this issue in person, they provided us with plain vegetables, and the hotel's General Manager offered a sincere apology.)
2. Having guests pick up their food deliveries themselves from the front desk is not something you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. A pile of delivery bags at the entrance creates a poor visual impression. If a concierge isn't available, this could easily be handled by a delivery robot.
I still hope to stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton on my next visit to Yanji and wish both Yanji and the Hilton continued success."

Guest UserAn older, upscale hotel with facilities and a layout that were top-notch in its time. While the hotel may be older, the service is still excellent! I really liked the butler online service; it's a much better experience than a budget hotel. Our family of three had a very spacious and comfortable stay! It's dry in Changbai Mountain this season, and they thoughtfully provided plenty of water! We really needed it! I haven't drunk this much water in a long time!

Guest UserI was a bit hesitant about booking this hotel after reading so many reviews and Redbook posts, but in the end, I decided to go for it because the hotel environment seemed good, and with a 1.5-year-old baby, we'd spend a lot of time at the hotel. When we first arrived, it was indeed a bit old, as other guests had mentioned, which was a slight disappointment. However, it wasn't as bad as some made it out to be, and of course, it can't compare to five-star hotels from major chain groups.
What truly stood out was the incredibly warm service. Unlike the somewhat cold and formal guidance you sometimes get at other five-star hotels, the staff here were genuinely enthusiastic. They reminded me to schedule the private hot spring, provided hot tea every day, and were available to answer any travel questions via WeChat. The driver they arranged was also exceptionally helpful and enthusiastic – highly recommend!
The breakfast selection was indeed small, but the taste was genuinely excellent. The Cantonese dim sum was even better than what I've had at some restaurants in Guangzhou! Plus, the restaurant is situated right above the river, offering fantastic views. The complimentary dinner was also delicious. Ordering additional items might be a bit pricey, but the food here was definitely the best we'd had during our stay in Erdaobaihe Town. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends next time.
