"Due to a typhoon, I had to change my train, so I arrived at the hotel late at night. The facilities are brand new, and the environment and cleanliness are excellent. The service is truly the best I've experienced in any hotel. My family and kids all loved it! We received complimentary fruit and snacks daily, along with a city fridge magnet and cute Wang Zhaojun and Qu Yuan dolls – no need to buy souvenirs! The mini-bar, stocked with coffee, water, drinks, beer, and crisps, was all complimentary and refilled every day, unlike many other hotels that charge for everything beyond two bottles of water. While the cost difference isn't huge, it really shows a different class. In the mornings, we walked to the Three Gorges Tourist Center, taking our time, and managed to visit all the places we wanted to see in Yichang. No regrets at all, we had a fantastic time! A big thank you to Sunny and Xiao Cai! 🥰"

We were extremely satisfied! 👍 Furthermore, the hotel service was excellent, thoughtful, and attentive. A small note with a greeting was like a warm current dispelling the chill. "Staying at the Xiangyang Intercontinental Hotel was a truly delightful experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and friendly, making me feel valued throughout my stay. "The staff really deserve a special mention! Luna at the front desk was incredibly warm and professional. She made the check-in process smooth and efficient, patiently explaining all the hotel facilities and local attractions. Any requests we had during our stay were promptly addressed, and her service was perfectly balanced – attentive without being intrusive. You could truly feel the five-star professionalism in every detail; it was incredibly thoughtful. When we checked out, Linda in the lobby was also very friendly, asking about our stay and even gave us a small gift. I also need to thank Eric from concierge for helping me find my lost bag – I'm so grateful!
The hotel itself is stunning, with French-inspired architecture blending beautifully with views of the Three Gorges. The ambiance is elegant and peaceful. The lobby design is very artistic, and the landscaped garden paths and lawns are beautifully arranged. My absolute favorite was the outdoor pool – it's massive and very impressive, perfect for photos! The value for money here is exceptional. Le Méridien will definitely be my top choice when I visit Yichang again."

"This is for our second night, and I wanted to add a few more details:
1. When the housekeeping staff cleaned our room, they noticed we used the table for drinks on the first night and replenished a box of tissues on the table, which wasn't there originally.
2. The housekeeper helped my girlfriend find her lost hairpin, even though we hadn't mentioned it beforehand. It's clear they clean very thoroughly, and they even folded our messy clothes. The housekeeper really deserves a commendation!
3. The turndown service was also good, and it's a nice touch that the hotel provides steam eye masks.
4. One point I missed in my last review that I'm adding here: I'm really curious why a hotel that opened in December 2019 is still using towels all manufactured in June 2019, with no replacements whatsoever. Personally, I don't think even my own towels would last seven years, let alone those used by rotating guests... There are quite a few things to complain about, but it's still pretty good value for money, and the afternoon tea is very photogenic. However, the hotel seems to put a lot of effort into the public areas, and the guest rooms really need more attention."

"Perfect Hotel for business travellers. Hotel is brand new, rooms are spacious, high ceilings, amazing view of the river and the city. Very comfortable to work from, no wifi issues. Bathroom is amazing, again, a feeling that everything is brand new. The breakfast was foreigner friendly, with cereals, orange juice, toast, marmalade and great coffee. The views from the restaurant (top floor) are amazing. Lots of parking, staff super friendly, high speed chargers across the road and a Wanda mega mall on the other side with western restaurants and a Luckin Coffee. I was amazed, I've stayed in Suizhou hotels in the past, in the city center, but this is next level. I didn't take a picture but a small detail that sums up this hotels level of service was they gave me 2 new bottles of water every day. I ended up with 8 bottles of water (i don't drink water but i made a few coffees in the room). How many hotels keep adding waters to the room. If i ever go to Suizhou again i will definitly stay here. FYI: Suizhou is a small town, but this hotel is not in the center. This hotel is perfect for business, quick access to the city, quick access to the motorway. I saw the center of Suizhou once... so to be honest no need to see it again..."

The hotel's quaint architecture perfectly complements the Wudang Mountains. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, provided excellent and very thoughtful service (I asked for a few hair ties, and she kept encouraging me to take more 😊). The hotel offers many organized activities; my husband really enjoyed the free one-hour 'Tai Chi' lesson in the evening, taught by a Xuanwu sect disciple – a great experience! During the day, there are various traditional Chinese arts and crafts lessons available too, like zither, chess, calligraphy, and painting. If you have time, I'd recommend staying a few extra days! The breakfast was also rich and varied. All in all, a very satisfying stay!

Guest UserThe room has a fantastic view, especially at night. There's a mirror directly opposite the window, and when evening comes, it reflects the outdoor scenery beautifully. It's truly stunning. In the evening, the Yijing Corridor had a ball game playing, and the resident singer was not only beautiful but had an even more amazing voice. You could even request songs, which was a huge plus.
The hotel's location is excellent. There's a Manner coffee shop on the first floor, and just down the street, you'll find Tea Color Yuese and several crayfish restaurants, all within about a kilometer. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. However, on the first morning, while I was still asleep, I was repeatedly woken up by housekeepers knocking on the door asking if I wanted cleaning. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered something like that.

The hotel is very close to Metro Line 7. The room has a good view. You can see the lake. The lake is downstairs. You can go to the lake at night. The hotel is very close to Wansongyuan Snack Street. Wansongyuan Snack Street is very famous in Wuhan. There are many delicious foods. I checked in for crayfish, hot dry noodles, duck neck and lotus root soup... They are all very good. The hotel service is also very good. The child got greasy all over after eating crayfish. I asked the front desk for detergent, which was delivered to the room quickly. The hotel bar has free drinks, and the front desk also has free water and drinks. The hotel service staff are very friendly. There is no uninterruptible power supply at the bedside of the room I stayed in, so it is not convenient to charge the mobile phone at night.

Our pet-friendly stay was absolutely delightful. The hotel's location is superb, right next to K11, so even on rainy days, you don't have to worry about getting wet when you go out. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, dining, and other activities.
The breakfast selection was impressive, especially the wide variety of noodle dishes, which you can customize to your liking. Food service was fast and responsive, and everything tasted great – perfect for a tight schedule during a business trip.
The room itself was clean, tidy, and very comfortable, allowing for a truly relaxing stay.
A special shout-out to the front desk staff, who were incredibly helpful and had a fantastic attitude. They upgraded our room and, when we extended our stay, patiently helped us find the most cost-effective option. Their dedication and enthusiasm were truly appreciated.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and our dog was just as comfortable as we were. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Chul H AhnThe facility was clean and the food was good. Most of all, the services by people in the frond desk and cleaning crews were excellent. Especially, Zeng Cen was phenomenal. When a taxi driver charged a fare of 839 Chinese Yuan from Wuhan international airport to the hotel, he explained to the driver why the fare was ridiculously high and made him to reduce to 355 yuan. I really appreciate his willingness to speak up for a foreign customer.

This hotel left a great impression on me. From the moment I entered the door, Xiaojie and Xiaolin were warmly welcomed. They took the initiative to help these tea services check in. They patiently introduced the hotel facilities, intimately recommended surrounding attractions, the room bedding was soft, and the window was open. Clean and comfortable. Hotel service is good. Every time I pass by the front desk clerk, I will take the initiative to smile and say hello. It feels like home. Check out and hand over mineral water. This kind of service is really rare. I will choose here next time and recommend it to all good friends. The restaurant is rich and varied. It feels good, the beef noodles are very delicious, and you can continue. The only downside is that the hotel equipment and facilities are a bit old.
