We came for the hot springs and were impressed by the hospitality of the hotel. They arranged a late checkout when my friend’s flight was delayed, as well as gave us complimentary soup and fruit. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast buffet I’ve had of the three resorts I’ve stayed at in Hainan. Really a wonderful experience! The clove and Janine pools are a must, as well as the cold mint pool. Hope the African and Middle East pool sections are open next time I visit to be able to try all the “continents”.

We had a fantastic stay! The villa was perfect for our family with wonderful other amenities. The rooms are luxurious and very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly and made us foreigners feel very welcome. We made use of the buffet and loved the variety of dishes on offer. Chef Logan was fantastic!! Our house keeping ladies were the best we have ever had. Special thanks to the cleaning staff Guiyun and Shengyan and Helena who are always helpful to us.

This was my third time staying at the St. Regis. Eaton from check-in, was very friendly and informative about everything happening at the hotel. We traveled for a friend’s birthday so we booked the garden villa. We actually stayed in the exact same garden villa from a previous trip! Our garden villa was spacious and they provided us with a nice welcome snack and wine! Our butler Caroline, was very helpful throughout our entire stay and always made sure we had everything we needed. She was very kind and caring. Throughout the morning or day she would message to see if we needed anything or buggy service. She made sure our laundry was picked up and returned to us in a timely manner. She made sure we received a birthday cake! Our Ayi Parttime, was also very friendly and made sure to make special decorations for the birthday! Breakfast was very delicious with a wide variety of options and free flow champagne 🍾 David from Driftwood was very kind and helpful throughout our stay as well. Overall, the stay was very relaxing and I would stay again. Also, the Ocean and Sky Bar was a nice addition and provided a very relaxing environment to wind down at after a busy day at the pool! Chloe was very nice and made sure we had our drinks or anything we needed. Some things that need improving are: the garden pool villa has too many trees so there is not much exposure to the sun, the pool equipment (chairs and recliners) are out of date and need updating, the Ocean and Sky should have the band play later than 9pm on weekends (it was a great place to relax and chill with a drink but the live music stopped too soon). Besides that, I would recommend the St. Regis to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing holiday!

This hotel was recommended to me but I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, I was so happy to stay, our room was amazing, so clean and large. The Ayi that serviced our room was amazing. The location is also perfect for going to the beach, walking and exploring. Having lived in Thailand we absolutely loved the authentic Thai restaurant and the staff paid attention to detail and tried their best to answer all my questions even though my Mandarin is terrible. The only downside was the pool area, which needed some work to the decking as it was not in a good way (and some was being done to it). Nevertheless, my family and I definitely plan to stay there again.

This hotel is great for families or if you want a break from busy touristy areas. The beach area has a swimming spot and many boats and jetski riders, so can be noisy, but it is clean and good for taking a walk. There were no restaurants or shops by the beach though. The pool area is nice and has towels, but families overtake it even though there is a designated kids pool, the staff were not very attentive and some kids were peeing in the garden. On the upside, the food at the restaurant was good and plentiful as well as the coffee. There's also a variety of shops and restaurants to order meituan in. The rooms are spacious and have washing machines. We were upgraded to a suite with an excellent view. The best thing about this hotel is the service and attention from the GM. We were here just prior to the lockdown and the GM helped us to find a testing station quickly as Yalong Bay ran out of tests, so we could catch our flight the following day. If not for that, we would have been stuck there another 2-3 weeks!

We had a lovely stay at the Villa, we had an easy check in and Emma was so lovely and helpful. We also had had a wonderful Photoshoot. We would definitely book with the resort again. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The location is lovely - ocean on one side and mountains on the other side. Landscaping is beautiful. Our villa was very private with the vegetation. Listening to the birds and seeing butterflies made the experience even better. Mia (reception) was available whenever we had questions/concerns. She was very professional and kind. Whenever we had food delivered, the delivery personnel was always efficient. Housekeeping was friendly and efficient. The spa was enjoyed by my daughter. She had a scrub and a water treatment which she loved. That's why the Banyan Tree is well-known for their lovely spa treatments. The personnel was great. However, they took away the foot treatment which was disappointing. Consider bringing it back. When checking out, Hickey's friendliness and humor ended our experience at the Banyan Tree on a nice note. I wish I had known the villa pool wasn't heated. Though the temperature was nice in December, it was too cold to swim in an unheated pool. The resort's main pool was available though. The outside tub didn't have working lights which prevented a better experience from happening. More care in the maintenance of the villa might be an idea. For example, our pool umbrella had rips in it and the patio pillows were stained. That's an easy fix. Breakfast was nice in the selection of food. I'm not quite sure how to describe the experience at the restaurant. It was assumed that we couldn't speak Chinese (a natural thought since we are foreigners). When my daughter (fluent Chinese-speaker) spoke Chinese, she was conversing nicely with one female server when all of a sudden another one tapped her on the arm to stop when she proceeded to speak to us in English. I'm not sure if she wanted to practice her English or thought my daughter's Chinese was bad. It was an odd experience. The most bizarre thing was when one of the cooks (Louis Gao) acted as a personal butler for a foreign guest. It was disturbing to the rest of us guests in how the foreigner was getting special treatment... even having salt and pepper put into separate dishes. (Salt and pepper shakers were on his table.) The chef was excluding the rest of the resort guests. Why was this foreign man favored? What made him so special? All of us, other foreign guests and Chinese guests, looked at the ”show” with a feeling of disappointment. Please treat us all with the same courtesy.

Location: hotel is located far from Sanya, in the middle of the Forest which is good for hiking to Qixian Mountain and also that gives you a totally different experience than the rest of places near Sanya. On the other hand it is quite far and it takes some time to get here by DiDi from Yalong bay. Hiking: The hotel staff helped us arrange the transportation to the Qixian Mountain entrance (40rmb both ways/per person). The driver was extremely friendly. Then we begin our hike which is quite challenging. It takes around 4 hours for the whole trip. On the top you can climb by using chains which is cool. Hot springs: Hotel has a few hot springs which are pleasant to enjoy but quite small and also in the evening the guard took the water away from the hot spring at 7pm😅 Swimming pool: swimming pool with the palm tree is absolutely amazing and great for taking pictures. Restaurant: near lobby there is one restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine but I wouldn’t recommend it. We waited for so long for a few dishes and the staff felt so uncomfortable dealing with foreigners. The other restaurant 7/5 is much better. We had a nice lunch there. In general we enjoyed our stay here but we were a little disappointed with the hotel’s amenities which were old. Everything looks much better in the photos than in real life. I’m not sure if I would recommend this place.

We stayed there second time and it’s a wonderful peaceful place, not crowded, the perfect place to calm down from the busy Shanghai. We stayed in a Pool Villa what is really wonderful. All the staff is so nice and helpful, we needed the Covid Test at day 3 in Hainan and the hotel driver brought us to the local hospital to do it, very convenient, total time 20 minutes. The only weak point is the restaurant, very slow service, one hour to get drinks, maybe a communication problem. And restaurant is very loud. The other days we chose the bar for dinner, quiet, outside seating and drinks and food much quicker. When we need a quiet place we will always come back!

The room was very big, the housekeeper upgraded our room, the swimming pool was beautiful, the only drawback was that it took half an hour to drive everywhere, because they were all villas, and the surrounding area was quite desolate. The breakfast was very rich, with some Chinese and Western styles, and the children liked it very much. The housekeeper said that afternoon tea was originally available only if we stayed for two consecutive nights, but later we applied for afternoon tea. The housekeeper's service was great and thoughtful. When traveling, you need to take a shuttle bus to the lobby or a taxi to pick you up directly at the door of the villa. Overall, it is quite convenient.

Wuzhizhou is really beautiful, the water is crystal clear, the rooms are clean and tidy, the service is considerate and thoughtful, the facilities are complete, suitable for couples, family and parent-child travel, the water activities are rich and colorful, the meals are also very rich, suitable for all tastes. The housekeeper Xiao Wang is attentive and thoughtful. From check-in to check-out, all questions are answered, all precautions are informed, and any needs are solved in the first time. He also helped to upgrade the panoramic sea view room for free. It was a very satisfactory stay. I will come again in the future and will recommend it to relatives and friends. The price-performance ratio is very high. It is just right to come to Sanya in October, not too cold or too hot

I went to Haikou in advance during the May Day holiday. At the last minute before departure, I changed my hotel in the city to Holiday Inn Express by the sea. It is close to Holiday Beach and Wuyuankou National Wetland Park (walk across the road to the beach). I bought a 2-night double room with a group purchase (it can be used during the May Day holiday, including breakfast for 2 people). Then there were many surprises: 1. Free upgrade to a sea view double room with balcony (I only found out that it was a free upgrade after checking out) 2. Hotel gifts and Haikou travel map 3. Free taxi from the hotel to the duty-free city 4. What I am most grateful for is that the hotel duty manager and the restaurant aunt also specially cooked the baby dinner we requested that was not on the menu (there are many delicacies in Haikou, but the child refused to eat anything and wanted to eat the taste at home) 5. The breakfast is very suitable for the baby's taste, and my picky baby also ate a lot

The hotel environment is very good, parking is convenient, very quiet, the smart robot leads the way to the room, the room is quite standard, with a balcony. The bed is very comfortable and soft. The hot spring has an outdoor public pool; there is also an indoor one, divided by men and women, and you need to register to enter; there is also a small pool in the guest room, where you can soak yourself. The breakfast is average, with not many varieties. Two tickets to the betel nut garden are also given when booking a room.

The hotel architecture was very nice, made good use of tall and beautiful spaces. Being in the middle of the rainforest, it is quiet and relaxing. The food is not so good, the cooks don’t seem to understand produce very well and end up eating tough meat and and very dried fish. The breakfast zhou is not so bad though. Apart from the food, the staff wasn’t too useful with the covid policies, they didn’t facilitate or helped us to get to a covid testing place so we end up spending the entire day just for that. The place is clean, not much else to say about that. Installations are a bit old, some of the lights are flickering, woodwork needs some love. But the best part is the bathtub, very big very clear and comfortable with thermal mineral waters coming straight from the mountains. I
