Decaying hotel and installations.
Needs repair/retrofit urgent.
The room was terrible: dirty and scratched walls, bed seemed to be recently used (although it seemed clean sheets) or was badly made.
The bathroom was old and the floor was dirty
the whole experience was a nightmare.

I had two issues with my room (bed and air conditioner). It took one day to change me to another room. But after that, everything was OK. Very good location. Nice room.

Red-eye flight, the hotel arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning, the front desk still arranged a room for me, very nice. The hotel room is a bit tasteful, overall it is not bad. . . .

No breakfast. There is no extra bed and child-carrying issues involved, so I don’t know much about it. The location of the hotel is very good, there are two Chinese Chinese restaurants opposite, very convenient. There are paid parking lots on the roadside and next door. There is no charge for on-street parking on Saturdays and Sundays.

We spent two nights in Alquimiste and we never wanted to leave! The guesthouse which is almost 100 years old is full of antique furniture, original artwork, and even has a lookout tower on the 4th floor boasting 360 views of the Carrasco neighborhood.
It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and very close to some of Montevideo’s most famous restaurants. Carolina and Mark are delightful and happy to help with anything.
The restaurant is lovely, and the breakfasts is a real treat. Hot croissants, freshly baked scones with marmalade and cream cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and beautifully plated granola we’re just some of our favorites.
Staying at Alquimiste, you really feel like you are apart of something special!

The basic facilities are complete, the overall is not bad, and the price performance ratio is high. Fly in the ointment, the water volume of the shower faucet is too small, which affects the experience of staying.

GGuest User I think Cala di Volpé combines an excellent cost-benefit relationship, well located, near Shopping Punta Carretas and good restaurants like La Perdiz and Garcia.
The restaurant is good and breakfast is worth praise for quality or service.
