Lam KuenIt took about 40 minutes and 390 baht to get to the hotel from the airport using a Bolt ride-hailing service. The hotel room was very spacious, with enough room for two double beds. The air conditioning and water pressure were good. The pool wasn't small, and the water was deep enough for adults. Breakfast offered a variety of Chinese, Thai, and Western options, with slight changes daily. The hotel is conveniently located about 50 meters from the beach, making access very easy. It's also just a 2-minute walk to the main street, offering a quiet yet very convenient location.Areas for improvement: The remote-controlled lighting was a bit inconvenient, there were small insects in the room, and the pool closed too early at 6 PM.

Anonymous UserHotel buffet breakfast was good with wide varieties. Their pastries were so good, even had freshly baked croissant hourly. However, the kids club and gym were under maintenance and relocated to ballroom and boutique respectively. Hotel provided free ice cream for kids daily as compensation. The room condition need to be improved whereby the closet door was hard to push and shower head is leaking, two of the lights were not functioning well. Pillows were too soft compared to the sofitel we stayed in bali few years ago. Room cleaning done twice a day were impressive.

Guest UserI stayed at this wonderful hotel in May. It's a perfect place. Every detail has been thought of, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. 1) The hotel grounds are large and well-maintained, with lots of greenery. The bamboo arch and several bridges are particularly eye-catching. Every corner of the hotel invites you to take a photo, and it will be beautiful. The lobby is spacious, with a beautiful view. Monitor lizards roam freely throughout the hotel. 2) The rooms. I stayed in the most basic room. Again, everything has been thought of for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is spacious and perfectly clean. The bed is super comfortable, with plenty of pillows to choose from and crisp white linens. The TV has a wide selection of channels. The room has plenty of shelves for storing things, which sets it apart from other hotels. A large bag with large towels for the pool is provided in the room. The terrace is spacious. I felt as comfortable as at home. 3) Pools and beach. The central pool, although small, is clean and chlorine-free. The water is always clean. There's a second pool where there weren't any swimmers. I liked it because it's suitable for professional swimmers. Klong Dao Beach is clean and well-maintained, located near the hotel. In the evenings, there are great sunset views. During the day, there were very inexpensive happy hours on drinks from the restaurant. 4) Spa. Special thanks to Su, who has golden hands. It was a wonderful relaxation experience. I want to come back again and again. In May, there was also a free happy hour. The spa at this hotel is worth the money! 5) Food. The breakfasts are varied and varied. It's impossible to go hungry. The breakfast spot has a gorgeous view from any angle. The coffee is delicious! In the evening, you can dine on delicious dishes at the Barracuda bar. I recommend the tuna salad and minestrone soup. Finger-licking good! 6) Staff! These are the people I want to express my deepest gratitude to and thank the hotel management for such great staff. Michelle, Nina, and others whose names I didn't recognize helped me every time I asked for help. Whether it was me not being able to turn on the TV, or there was a huge scorpion outside my room, or I urgently needed laundry, they always helped promptly. The staff is pleasant to talk to; everyone is smiling, tactful, and ”in their element.” At breakfast, in the bar, by the pool, in the lobby, at reception, in the spa, and even the drivers in the car—everyone is very pleasant! 7) General. The hotel is located on a clean beach, near the pier. After the taxi, a minicar will meet you and take you to reception, then to your room. You can rent a bike and ride around the island. There is a place for volleyball. I liked the hotel perfectly; I promised to come back again! It's a shame you can't stay with children during high season, but that's the hotel's policy. Everything is done to ensure a quiet and relaxing stay for guests. 🤷🏻♀️There are three separate, comfortable areas for smokers. Smoking is prohibited on the terraces. The only minor drawback for me was the forks. They were so uncomfortable that I wanted to buy a plastic fork and eat with it. We will definitely come back here! I recommend it 100%!! 👌❣️

JanicejnI absolutely loved my stay at this hotel!
Room Upgrade & Design: I was upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was stunning! The design is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist style with warm wooden tones. I was very impressed with the room itself. The only minor drawback for guests seeking absolute quiet is the soundproofing of the front door, which is a little thin. You can still hear some noise from people walking past in the hallway.
Exceptional Staff: The service from the staff was outstanding. Hardy, Kik, and Cream were all wonderful, providing excellent and very friendly service. A special mention also goes to Lusho at the breakfast restaurant. He took excellent care of me, always ready to recommend dishes and answer any questions we had about the food—just ask him anything you need!
Location: The location is superb! It's just a short 7-minute walk to Ao Nang beach and very close to the night market, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven.
Facilities:
• Spa: The hotel spa is fantastic! I had the aroma massage for 850 THB, and it was excellent—both muscle and mind felt completely relaxed. The calming natural sounds, especially with the rain falling during my session, made it incredibly soothing.
• Fitness & Pool: The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool is lovely.
Overall: This is the perfect place for a relaxing, no-stress vacation. The food is good, the location is excellent (close to the beach and nearby restaurants), and the facilities are comprehensive. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

Guest UserThe reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination.
Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing.
Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest.
When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son!
They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time.
If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google ”Mun Lanta” taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water.
Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time?
This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation.

This was my first time staying at a hotel with traditional Thai architecture, like what you’d see in palaces and temples, and it was such a cool experience. The room was totally worth the price, clean, tidy, and pretty spacious for just me traveling alone. The vibe of the place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a few steps away from the beach!
There’s also a swimming pool which is great for families and kids friendly. Plus, there's a local night market not too far away, which was great to check out. The breakfast here was spot on, and the staff were all so nice and helpful.
Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely come back again! 😍

I recently stayed at Phi Phi Bay View Resort for one night in a Deluxe Sea View room. The overall experience was pleasant, though I would not classify the property as truly luxurious compared to the price point. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the location—the view from the room was stunning, with beautiful beaches right in front of the property, accessible only to hotel guests. The resort also provides complimentary beach bags for in-house guests, which is a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety and quality. The staff were courteous and helpful, making the stay comfortable. However, the washroom facilities felt outdated and could benefit from renovation. Additionally, the main market is a bit far, so walking may not be convenient for everyone.
