Beach Hotels in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan

As we checked in the room (room number: 2016), we found the room type was different than the one shown on the website. It was clear that two beds were movable. For most of the people I guess, the beds are not confortable cause they are not fixed. Moreover, the beds were located next to the window. I could here the traffic outside all night. What made it worse was that we were not asked that our room had been changed or somehow .......no ! Nothing at all.

Perfect stay for relaxing. Staff is more than friendly, you have great restaurants in the hotel and also a shop (market) where you can buy snacks, drinks and souvenirs. The pool is a real paradise. Keep on mind that is also. Family hotel: It could be very crowded…

My first impression was the excellent sea view from our hotel room. The location was perfect, right in front of the beach with full frontal sea view. Our family booked the executive loft unit which was on the top floor. The children loved their separate private area in the loft. Although there is no swimming pool or gym, it is not an issue for us because we were out most of the day and we can swim in the sea if we want to. Breakfast was excellent too. Good variety of food and the quality was good too. Will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

The room was large and comfortable. But we were not allowed to use the 3rd bed, saying that only 2 adults were allowed in the room, and a child was not allowed a bed. Breakfast for the child was also paid. The hotel did not congratulate me on my birthday (and I had an anniversary, 50 years). The pool was very cold.

We had a great stay. We stayed 3 nights the first time and came back for another 3 nights. Hotel is close to Kadena AB. We were stationed there back in the late 80s and early 90s. Excellent breakfast. Attentive staff. We enjoyed the complimentary performance of Okinawan dance. We also hung out at the izakaya to listen to music. Hotel is beautiful. Loved it!

location is a bit remote, the nearest convenient store (and other restaurants) that's not on hotel premises and opens 24-7 is roughly 20-mins walk away; the hotel does have a convenient store / souvenir shop in the lobby but it closes shop at night. But otherwise the hotel is across the street from a beautiful stretch of beach that's not very crowded and the hotel itself has several pools and even a water slide. Cousin held his wedding at the hotel's little glass chapel, which was beautiful. Some of the facilities are showing their age (some wear and tear on the furniture, water stains...etc.) but the friendly staff have been doing impeccable job keeping the place clean and tidy. We tried the Blue and Red Kumejima 612 craft beer while having buffet, it was very nice.

This is the second time to stay with this hotel in 2 years. Location: 8/10 The hotel is located in the middle of Okinawa Island in Onna area. It takes around 50-55 mins drive from Naha airport. Some local restaurants and Lawson can be found around 5-10 walk around hotel. Nothing wrong with the location as we selected it. Service: 10/10 Booked the club lounge access with the express check in and snack time during the day. No words to describe its service as the smiles are everywhere and always be welcomed by everyone in the hotel. To highlight one thing that we needed a screwdriver to open a small cover of my son’s toy, the team was so good to fine one for me which I do not think a hotel needs to help me for a request like that. Facilities: 9/10 The outdoor swimming pools were closed due to the weather. The resort looks fairly new, and the location is perfect for tourists to cover north or south of the island in terms of driving distance, and yet in the midst of quietness of coastal outskirts of okinawa. We love the coin-operated laundry to allow us to wash/dry our clothes on our last day of stay. Additional plus point is they offered 10% discount for guest to spend on their restaurant and convenient store. Must say we enjoyed their sabu-sabu meal, and this dish has to be reserved.

My family stayed in a room with three beds, and it was nice because the room was large. The view of the room where we could see Sunset Beach was good, and it was also good that several wash and bath items were arranged in the lobby free of charge for guests to use the public bath. However, the internal facilities were a little disappointing

Location: On the outskirts of Naha city - 15 mins by car from both the airport (traffic permitting) and city centre. Also within the red light district so not recommended to venture out on foot at night (see picture) Parking: Hotel has limited parking within premises for 1,500yen per day (but unlimited driving in and out of car park), and needs to reserve at the hotel at 11am each day (so if you arrive at night you'll at least have to sort out the first night yourself). There are small car parks dotted around the area but firstly, the car parks are small so no guarantee of spaces and secondly, the car parks are located amongst various love hotels. The best we found (in terms of location and safety) is one at Costa Village ESPANA which is 5 minutes on foot from the hotel (500yen overnight and 700yen day park) (see picture) Room: Very small (i.e. standard Japanese semi-doubles), but the bathroom is spacious with onsen facilities Breakfast: A very good spread including local dishes, 1,900yen per person (kids eat for free) (see pictures) Facilities: Swimming pools on 2/F (free) and rooftop with bar (paid, so havent tried). Onsen on 2/F also opens till late, with both indoor and outdoor onsen, and quite packed
