Located in a pine wood area. To the beach maybe 100m, depends on your room location, to the „Golden“ 10 min walking, to old town 15min. Hotel is renovated but because of its size and the colors (a lot in white) it is not “charming”. I enjoyed the pool, had no time to book a Spa treatment. The room was small, kind of faded glory, but with balcony and new bathroom. Breakfast is of good quality but always same choice and the interior has the charm of a factory.
Hotel Trogir Palace

The hotel was situated only a few minutes walk across the bridge to the main restaurants in the area. There was a small beach very close by, being about 5 minutes walk which you could swim. The front of the hotel overlooks the harbour which is just across the road. Nearby are two food shops which you can get drinks, food, wine and spirits. The hotel is spotless and the staff very friendly. The two rooms (family room) were very pleasant with aircon and supplied with a fridge and two flat screen tv's. There was also a safe in the cupboard. I was suprised however that there was no kettle or provisions to make a drink and that the fridge was empty. The fridge seemed to take 3 days to chill itself let alone any drinks put in it. The bathroom had a mixer shower bath and again was spotless. Towels were provided and the room was cleaned daily to a very high standard! I have to say this, the standard maintained by the staff was amazing, even to placing my daughter's cuddly toy in various positions amusing us when we returned. We loved it. The breakfast was very nice and there was something for everyone and from whatever country you came from. Again here, the staff were very friendly and constantly topping the breakfast bar up. We stayed for a week and yes planes do fly overhead. The rooms are well insulated, and with windows closed, it really isn't an issue. In fact, we watched them from the balcony with interest. I certainly didn't loose any sleep due to planes. I can honestly say, I couldn't hear any other guest either. We were on the first floor and sadly situated to the rear of the hotel. Our room 103, did not have the desired views across the harbour and out L shaped balcony accessed from only the kids room overlooked the flats next to the side of us and the laundry room and I think the aircon room. I was really disappointed about this and I guess this is just luck of the draw. I pictured my wife and I sitting on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine overlooking the harbour. Instead, we had next door some apartments and the raised car park behind of private residential houses. Pictures and write ups are deceptive here and initially nearly ruined my time at the hotel. Realistically, we only spent a very short time in the rooms and we got on with it. It felt a little strange that the two rooms felt the wrong way around. The two single beds were in the larger room with a desk, fridge, safe and only door out onto the balcony. The large double bed was in a smaller room. It mattered not, just felt odd. Both rooms had individual aircon units and there were roll down shutters on all the windows and door to the balcony giving you extra security. The windows would open like a conventional window or tilt from the bottom which included the door onto the balcony. This would be very good for young children and prevent access to the balcony but still allow ventilation in to the room. The lift for us was close by, but we used the stairs. In summary,

Amazing hotel. We don't do hotels but as first time here we took that route. Rooms are small but you're not in them all day. Staff are brilliant. Breakfast is what you want or not it's included. Plenty for families in here and round resort. On the beach. Very central. Wee fridge in room for your own things. No sunbed wars but there can be. Bathrooms are adequate with toiletries. Hot water on tap. Cleaning every day if you want but not necessary. Air con is . Can't upgrade rooms at reception though. You have to go online and pay full price despite having paid already. So when choosing this hotel make sure you ask for the room you want. There are bigger ones but not many. Kids toys like mini bikes, scooters etc are on reception floor but stairs could be a hazard. Never seen entertainment but can here it but not loud enough to not sleep. Balcony doors are soundproof unless opened. I would definitely recommend here. There's so much to do. Big kids club for folks with wee ones. All staff we have spoken to or engaged with have been extremely helpful. Plenty shops around for extras as in supermarkets, bakery etc. You won't be disappointed.
Hotel Park Split

Good location, beautiful views and small rooms. Service was good overall, but uncle was weaker when checking out. I couldn't find the bill I signed for consumption. The hotel documents issued were all in local language and I couldn't understand. In addition to the room rate, there are also city taxes, insurance fees (I do n’t know what insurance is covered), and registration fees (I do n’t know what to note). It was said that the packaged breakfast was not available. I later complained and replied that I did not take it. The restaurant and room service are very good, and the front desk service is also very good during the day, that is, when checking out early in the morning, the uncle's ability to communicate is too weak. Lowered the service level of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel and we had a fantastic huge room with balcony looking out onto the sea at the side of the hotel. Room was immaculate and beautifully decorated in neutral colours with comfy chairs to lounge in plenty of wardrobe space and free safe. Bathroom had bath, rainfall shower and hand held shower. The bath quite high so for elderly or disabled difficult to access but they did have hand grips. An internal bath mat to avoid slipping would be a good extra to add. Good hairdryer in bathroom too. The hotel is maintained immaculately and is a very beautiful hotel inside and outside. Staff were very friendly and smiling. Unfortunately the food and service at dinner let it down. First night at dinner my main course was presented to me whilst still eating my starter and I am not a slow eater. Second night asked for wine list was told you don't need that just have the house wine!! The food was actually quite tasty. We were the only diners in the resturaunt for quite a few nights then we went out for a couple of meals. On return to eating at hotel the resturaunt was full each night but they had started to provide a buffet type meal, help yourself basically. Salad tipped into a bowl with tomatoes sliced over it not my idea of a great dining experience , lasagne and chicken that looked dried out and not very tempting a plate of dry cakes for dessert no cream custard or ice cream to help it go down a plateful of pancakes all stuck together that you had to pull apart with either Nutella or fresh fruit to accompany. Not my idea of a resturaunt meal. Sat at table for at least 15 mins had to ask for a drink as the waiter passed us knowing we had been there for quite a while. I don't think they had enough staff to cope to be honest and sadly for these reasons I would not return.
Hotel Gala Split

The hotel Gala is in fact the depandance of the hotel San Antonio that looks at the sea while the Gala is located between the San Antonio and the street. So the photos you see are of the hotel San Antonio. The check in is made at the hotel Antonio . When you enter the entrance of the Gala hotel, you feel a strong smell that I found linked to the smells of the washing machine under the hotel. When you open the window, you find things thrown from the hotel as if it was a discharge. The room was spacious, but had a third bed in a bed sofa that occupied all the room of manoeuvre and had a destroyed sofa, with broken dogs and unable to sleep on the opening side. tends and some tents are also bucked (not certainly by 4 stars). The swimming pool at the latest floor of San Antonio is ”dismissed” . All disorder, smell and dirt everywhere. Breakfast is enough . The only positive point was the kindness in checking in by the boy who spoke Italian. I couldn't change hotels for the rest, because they were all full in the area, but I would certainly not advise it unless it was restructured.
Bluesun Hotel Marina

An excellent hotel in a great location - beautifully situated on the coast and freshly renovated. Fantastic family apartments and soothing surroundings of a pine forest. Very nice staff speaking English :) The food in the All Inclusive version is very tasty and diverse, including meat and vegetarian options, seafood, local dishes, fruit and vegetables, as well as pizza straight from the oven, sweets and ice cream. I highly recommend it!
