The room is great, very clean and comfortable. Every time I come to the beach to enjoy the scenery or for a trip, I choose Wutong. Even if I don't want to go out, I can still enjoy a fantastic view from the room, which is perfect for a lazy person like me who doesn't like to move around much~
The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, are very friendly and always quick to help with any questions I have~

I'm reviewing this quite strictly because it's priced the same as the five-star hotel next door.
The room and facilities are relatively new, spacious, and very clean. The linens were all comfortable to use. The location and view are also excellent.
Here are the downsides I'd like to highlight:
The design details of various facilities in the room are quite average. For example, the shower head on the wall couldn't be adjusted, so you had to hold it, and it took a long time for hot water to come out. It was nice that laundry detergent pods were provided with the washing machine, but there was nowhere in the entire room to hang clothes. I suggest adding a retractable clothesline in the shower room.
The room's air conditioning and ventilation system didn't work well. It felt stuffy and hot during the May Day holiday, and there was still a noticeable odor in the room, so I had to keep the windows open for ventilation throughout my stay.
The TV had no free channels, everything had to be paid for, but thankfully, I could cast from my phone.
The breakfast was probably on par with a three-star hotel and needs improvement.

I traveled alone to Yantai and planned to take the 8:59 high-speed train to Rizhao from Yantai Station on May 20th. So, on May 19th, I chose to stay at the Lijing Coast Hotel (Yantai Railway Station Joy City Store), which is only about 800 meters from Yantai Station. It's also right next to the Yantai Bus Terminal, making transportation incredibly convenient. When I entered the room, I found it very clean and tidy, with a trendy and modern design! The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the shower had strong, hot water. From the bed, I could enjoy beautiful views of Yantai, and the large bed was incredibly comfortable. There was also a sofa and a coffee table. Free Wi-Fi and free parking were a plus. I could easily use my portable computer that I brought with me. Downstairs, there are many restaurants nearby, and it's not far from the beach – very convenient! On the morning of May 20th, it was pouring rain at 7:30 AM. I called a Didi (ride-hailing service), and even with waiting and traffic, it took only 20 minutes to get to Yantai Station. The hotel also has a ground-level parking lot right at the entrance, so the car could pull up directly to the lobby. The lobby staff proactively helped me with my luggage, and I didn't get wet at all before getting into the car. Arriving at Yantai Station, I felt so lucky I had chosen to stay at the Lijing Coast Hotel! I will definitely choose it again next time I visit Yantai!
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Just across the street, you're at the beach. Plus, there's a supermarket, a morning market, and unique restaurants nearby – super convenient. The staff were amazing too. Due to traffic, we checked in at 2 AM, and they not only helped us with our luggage but also upgraded our room! The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The room's outlets and smart toilet are definitely up to date with what younger people look for. The bedding was also top-notch; the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the duvet was fluffy, making for a super comfortable sleep. It's a shame I woke up too late and missed the hotel's breakfast, though.

The room is very, very big and really spacious! Although the label is that it can accommodate 2 people, I think it is completely fine to live 4 people and very comfortable. There are two big beds and you can see the sea view, which is really beautiful. (The bathroom is a little small, but acceptable) The room was clean and there was no smell of smoke.
Most importantly, the staff here are very friendly! I forgot my passport on the boat from Dalian before and they helped me coordinate well, really willing to help, and always very kind and smiling. Thank you so much!
If you are looking for a good stay, it is recommended to try here, the price is very cute, the room is very good, the people are very warm. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely stay again!

Here's my objective review of this stay.
Pros:
1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby.
2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery.
3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it.
4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely.
5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly.
6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier.
Cons:
1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews.
2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken.
3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival).
4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub.
5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby.

This was my first stay at the hotel and overall, I was very satisfied. The lobby ambiance was grand and elegant, making me feel very comfortable. The front desk service was professional, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The staff were warm and attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and spacious, providing a great way to unwind after a long journey. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this place again if I have the opportunity.

Really Amway this treasure sea view homestay, completely exceeded expectations! Environment: Sitting on the first-line invincible sea view, you can immerse yourself in the sea without going out, watch the sunrise on the sea in the morning, enjoy the sunset on the sea in the evening, and the sea breeze is super healing in the evening. The sea view outside the window is a blockbuster, quiet and comfortable, away from the hustle and bustle of the city is too suitable for vacation relaxation.
Hygienic: Clean people can rest assured! The whole house is cleaned very meticulously, the room is ventilated and dry, there is no damp smell, the bedding is fluffy and clean, the desktop, window sill, and the corners of the bathroom are clean, the utensils are clean and stain-free, and it is comfortable and safe to live.
Service: The store is super gentle and reliable! Luggage helps to carry, and local niche punch points and food guides are also recommended for free. If you have any questions, you will be on call. The service is meticulous and will not be overly disturbed. The experience is full!
The overall price is super high, the environment, health, service is all-round online

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near Yan'an Third Road subway station. If you take Exit D, there's a commercial area right outside with plenty of dining and shopping options, and the hotel is directly across the street. If you take Exit A, it's a few minutes' walk east, and you'll pass a 7-Eleven on the way. The subway provides easy access to all the major attractions, and Vientiane City is only about a fifteen-minute walk away. It's also a pleasant stroll to May Fourth Square after dinner.
Service: The staff are warm, attentive, and greet children kindly, making them very approachable. The front desk efficiently handled check-in, was very helpful in answering questions, and housekeeping responded quickly to our requests. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing hotel; the service is excellent.
Environment: Upon entering, you'll find the front desk. While checking in, family members can wait in the adjacent lounge area. The overall style is spacious and tidy. We booked a family suite, which had two single beds in the living room and a king-size bed in the bedroom, plus a bathroom with a double vanity. The space was quite suitable for a family of four. The room offered a great view of the sea and distant office buildings, and at night, we could enjoy the spectacular changing lights. The family suite also came with a children's building block table, sand play tools, and a small tent.
Restaurant: The variety of food is rich. For those dining before 10 AM, the staff will give a friendly reminder before service ends and even pack small tomatoes in a box for the children, which was a thoughtful touch.
Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and the facilities are indeed a bit dated, showing their age.
Hygiene: The cleanliness of the children's building block table definitely needs improvement. Considering it's promoted as a family suite, we found cigarette ash and thick dust in the toys, and a red, blood-like stain on the small tent. Housekeeping promptly cleaned it. After my child played with the toys and tent in the afternoon, their eyes became uncomfortable that evening, with a noticeable increase in green discharge, clearly a bacterial infection. The next day, their eyes were swollen and matted shut when they woke up. Luckily, I had eye ointment which I applied, and my child's condition improved by the third day. However, then my own eyes started to become red and infected... Five days later, my eyes are still bloodshot. I followed up with the hotel about the situation, and Ms. Meng Qing, who handled my case, was sincere, didn't evade the issue, actively sought a solution, and promised that the hotel would rectify and improve its hygiene standards. A hotel that can face problems directly gives me confidence that they will genuinely follow through on their promises. I hope to experience the improved conditions on a future visit.

The best decision I made on my Weihai trip was booking this sea-view room! The moment I opened the door and curtains, the entire sea just burst into view. There's nothing blocking the window, so I could lie in bed and watch the ocean. In the evening, I saw the sunset paint the sky orange, and at night, I fell asleep to the sound of waves; even my dreams were salty and sweet. The front desk staff were also super enthusiastic. I'd definitely come back and stay here again if I get the chance!

GGuest UserMy stay at The Westin Qingdao was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Nicky at the front desk! The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and she was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her service was attentive and thoughtful; she proactively arranged a suitable room type for me and even provided helpful tips for exploring the local area. She patiently assisted with any requests I had. The hotel's location is excellent, right near May Fourth Square, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, creating a really pleasant atmosphere for my stay. I was genuinely impressed by the thoughtful service throughout my visit. Choosing this hotel for my trip provided such peace of mind. Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'll definitely be staying at The Westin again, and my first choice will be to find Nicky!

FFrom a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question.
After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

Just returned from a stay at Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel—a solid choice near Shilaoren Bathing Beach and the International Convention and Exhibition Center 🤩. With an impressive overall Trip.com rating of 8.8/10, guests rave about its service, cleanliness, and convenience .
The location scores about 8.9/10—it’s roughly a ten-minute walk to the sandy beach and sits just 8.5 km from Qingdao’s downtown core and 14 km from Qingdao North Railway Station. Not ideal if you need a car—there’s no on-site parking (). Amenities and service both come in around 8.6–8.9/10, with friendly staff and smooth check‑in/out process (). Cleanliness is top notch with a clean rating of 9.0/10 .
🌞 What stood out:
• Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring big windows and modern décor in a sleek New‑Chinese style. Everything felt new and well-kept .
• The beds are comfy (2.2 × 2.2 m, pure cotton linens), showers felt luxurious, and the soundproofing was excellent. Also enjoy convenient rapid check‑out service with personal touches .
• The breakfast buffet gets solid praise—tasty and well-rounded start to the day ().
💤 Stay comfort: 9.0/10
• Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed rooms made for a relaxing and bright stay.
📍 Location: 8.9/10
• Close to beach access and the expo center, plus shopping and transit nearby—but no parking if you’re driving.
🤝 Service: 8.9/10
• Staff are described as friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out are seamless.
🛎️ Amenities: 8.6/10
• Offers the basics—Wi-Fi, in-house restaurant (light meals available), and cozy space—but lacks a gym or pool .
⸻
✅ Quick tips:
• Ask for a seaview or beach‑side room—light is great, and views are peaceful 🌊🌅.
• It’s walkable to the sand and just a short ride from Qingdao International Convention Centre.
• No parking, so if you’re self-driving, plan to park nearby or use public transport 🚉.
• No fitness center or pool, but hey—you’re steps from the beach 🏖.
⸻
Final verdict: With modern rooms, sparkling clean spaces, strong service, and a primo location near Shilaoren Beach and the convention center, Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel scores a solid 9/10. Great pick for business travelers or chill beach escapes alike! 😌✨

YYanmaimochanatieThis is my first time staying in Huangdao, even though I've visited many times. The location is excellent, and the surroundings are beautiful. At night, when the lights come on, it feels like Alice's Garden.
Service: All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Whether it was bringing up something I'd forgotten or coming to my room with a first-aid kit after I had a bump outside, they were always so patient and attentive.

XXiangzuogesuixingdelanrenAfter searching through many hotels along the coast, I felt that Haitan offered the best value for money! And my choice proved to be correct! The service at this five-star hotel is absolutely top-notch. As soon as we arrived, even before getting out of the car, they were already actively helping with our luggage. Since we were staying for four nights, the front desk upgraded our room type. The room facilities were excellent, with electric curtains and card-free power, adding a nice touch of human-centered design. The view was fantastic, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Qingdao's Third Bathing Beach. Our hotel butler, Lilith, checked in with us daily via WeChat to see how our stay was going and if we had any new needs, which she promptly met! The hotel's location is also superb, right between Badaguan and the Olympic Sailing Center! Plus, there's a mall right downstairs!

GGuest UserLv Feng Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinan District. It’s just a 5-minute walk to The Mixc Shopping Mall, where you can find almost everything. Luckin Coffee is right next door, which is a big plus for coffee lovers. The MRT station is also only about a 5-minute walk away.
The room is spacious and well-equipped. The room I stayed in offers a view of Qingdao TV Tower, and I could also enjoy the sunset.
赵姐 from the housekeeping team is very attentive and does a great job—kudos to her!
One of my favourite things about the room is this multifunctional machine (as shown in the picture). It works as an air conditioner, heater, and dehumidifier, which made the stay very comfortable.

GGuest UserBig thanks to Reya! This was my first time driving such a long distance, all the way from Beijing to Qingdao. She contacted me the day before to confirm my room type. Upon arrival the next day, I was greeted with all sorts of goodies, including an upgrade to a suite with a view of the May Fourth Movement nightscape. They even provided Cantonese dim sum for breakfast and complimentary tea. Reya also helped me register my license plate. The hotel seems to be a bit older, but they've embraced modern tech with robot room service and USB adapters in the rooms, so they're definitely keeping up with the times. I was truly thrilled, thank you so much! And Reya, you're a real beauty, I hope I spelled your name right, haha!

GGuest UserOur room was upgraded to a sea-view suite by the front desk, and it was indeed very spacious with a nice view. The staff were also quite attentive. The downside is that the facilities are a bit old and not very well-maintained; some doors are already damaged. SSanshuizouliangbuTraveling during the May Day holiday, I had significantly lowered my expectations for hotels, just hoping my child would have a good time. To my surprise, even though this hotel has been open for so long, it's still incredibly well-maintained. The front desk staff, Yawen, was super efficient in handling our check-in and addressing various issues throughout our stay. The hotel also has hot springs, which is very convenient, and offers a one-stop experience for activities like clam digging, horse riding, and general fun. Any time we needed something delivered to the room or had luggage-related questions, it was resolved instantly. I'm truly amazed by the management here; for a hotel with 700 rooms, to operate so efficiently during the May Day holiday is incredible. The room is beautiful. In the morning, opening the window in our sea view room felt like stepping into a Miyazaki anime, and at night, with the lights on, it was like being in Hogwarts Castle.
