"The hotel itself is actually very good, no complaints here. The hygiene and environment are both fine, assuming you can accept the quirks of this peculiar town. Now, let me rant.
First off, I absolutely do not recommend Tianya Town. It's a very strange place. If you're driving, you have to park your car in a pitch-black parking lot. This 'parking lot' is just an open dirt lot, gravel ground, with no charging stations whatsoever.
Secondly, after leaving the parking lot, it's impossible to find the sightseeing shuttle stop, especially at night, as there are no clear signs.
Thirdly, entering the town requires taking a sightseeing shuttle, which costs 6 CNY per person per ride, and 7 CNY at night. Theæ¶æŹŸćäœ is Sanya Tianya Town Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. The B&B is extremely far from the shuttle stop, and you can't walk there. All the paths are winding, narrow alleyways, and it's heavily commercialized. They deliberately make you take the shuttle here. You have to take it for both entry and exit, meaning it's at least 12 CNY per person."

The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

"This Nature Song Seaview B&B is in an excellent location, offering first-rate ocean views. We stayed in the 270-degree sea view room, and we could see the clear blue ocean right from our bed. It was very clean, and they asked us daily if we needed housekeeping. The facilities are comprehensive, and the public pool is beautiful for photos. There's free bottled water in the lobby. The service is great; they helped with luggage and offered rides. The environment is lovely. This place is definitely a top choice in Tianya Town!"

"We stayed for two days and had airport pick-up service. The pick-up call came right after our plane landed, which was very punctual. The room was large and clean, and the environment was also great. We could see coconut groves and the sea from the window. The 7th-floor rooftop was perfect for taking photos. The staff, both male and female, were very enthusiastic; they would stand up and greet us warmly every time we entered or exited. After checking out, they even helped us carry our luggage to the roadside where we could catch a taxi.
The only minor drawback was that the sound insulation in the room wasn't very good. The sound of water coming from the shower pipes upstairs was quite loud. It would be even more perfect if it were a bit quieter."

"This time I came to Lingshui to live in Wangye B&B. It was really a surprise! Originally, the platform was just opened and didnât have much expectations. I didnât expect it to be really pleasant after I checked in. First of all, I like the decoration style very much. It has Nanyang characteristics. Secondly, the room is cleaned and the bedding is very comfortable. Especially their latex pillows are really too soft. The disposable items are wooden. This is very poking me. It makes people feel comfortable and at ease. The supporting facilities are also very complete. There is a gym, laundry room, breakfast is also provided. Breakfast is simple sandwiches and soy milk. There is a swimming pool in the backyard. Very close to the beach, the hotel also provides sea tools, Just to experience the fun of catching the sea and picking up shells đ€© Sitting in the small courtyard in the evening and blowing the sea breeze to see the sunset is really pleasant ïœ By the way, they also have a self-operated club to play paddle boards. Guest UserI stayed here for three days this time. Every year for National Day, I choose Sanya to relax, but this time I decided to stay in Yalong Bay instead of Haitang Bay. I was pretty lazy and didn't explore much. The villa's privacy, which is the most important aspect, was good.
Day 1: Arrived very late from Ningbo. Housekeeper Cici arranged for a photography light to illuminate the courtyard.
Day 2: I had the 'do not disturb' button on in the bedroom at night, but then pressed 'please make up room' when I left, which caused a misunderstanding and no one came to clean. The team was very apologetic, came immediately to clean and replenish toiletries, and even gave us 8 bottles of water. I could feel their effort to provide good service, especially since prices surge during National Day, haha.
Day 3: My flight back to Ningbo was in the evening, and they gave us a 2 PM late check-out, which was great! The 2 PM check-out gave us just enough time for a massage to fill the schedule.
PS: I tried the complimentary floating afternoon tea and the evening 'tipsy' experience â both were decent. I didn't try the travel photography as I don't like taking pictures, haha.
Overall, as someone who just wanted to relax, I was satisfied.

Guest UserWe planned two days in Haitang Bay during our Sanya trip. Initially, we booked a hotel-style apartment near Atlantis Waterpark, which had high online ratings. However, as soon as we checked in, we were shocked by how old and outdated the facilities were. We negotiated with the hotel, paid a 30% cancellation fee, and checked out.
Afterward, we rebooked at the Wanda Realm Resort, and both my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised:
1. The facilities were incredibly new, and the hotel lobby was grand.
2. The service was excellent.
3. The location was superb; the beach was just a short walk away.
4. The hotel had a full range of recreational facilities. The pool water was very clean, and there was a foam party in the afternoon. In the evening, there were plenty of activities, including a lawn movie and a bonfire party.
My child had an absolutely fantastic time, and both of us felt it was incredibly worthwhile. The hotel also has a Hainan Li Village restaurant, which has a beautiful ambiance, reasonable prices, and, most importantly, delicious food!
I highly recommend this hotel! Itâs the best one I've stayed at in Sanya~

Guest UserOverall, I'm very satisfied! A big thank you to our butler, Hellen, for the thoughtful service. She always responded to messages immediately, solved problems promptly, and was incredibly accommodating. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but after experiencing it myself, while the hotel's hardware might show some age given how long it's been open, the service was truly excellent and lives up to the brand's reputation! The experience was fantastic! The breakfast offered a wide variety of food and was very plentiful. I've never seen a hotel serve breakfast until 11:30 AM, which was perfect for us late risers. It made for a wonderfully relaxed day. Thank you! The hotel's parking lot was also spacious with plenty of spots, making it ideal for those traveling by car. We truly enjoyed a relaxing vacation, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sanya.

The InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort was truly a spontaneous and delightful surprise! The hotel's environment is breathtakingly beautiful, facing the sea with blossoming flowers, exuding a romantic vacation vibe everywhere you look.
The hotel service deserves immense praise! From the thoughtful arrangements for airport transfers, to the 24-hour on-call front desk, and the convenient luggage storage, every detail made us feel right at home. The family-friendly facilities here are also incredibly comprehensive, making traveling with kids completely stress-free.
What surprised me the most was the hotel's location. Step outside and you're greeted by the stunning coastline of Haitang Bay. It offers both tranquility and super easy access to the Sanya Duty-Free Shopping Complex. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Sanya; it's definitely worth countless revisits!

Guest UserAfter looking at several hotels in Yalong Bay, I chose the Mangrove Tree Resort for its relatively good value for money. I had seen quite a few negative reviews on Xiaohongshu and other apps, but it seems every hotel has them, so I came prepared. As an older hotel, the room types and facilities are a bit dated, but I found it acceptable upon arrival. We arrived late, and the front desk upgraded our room. Overall, the experience was decent. There were plenty of loungers on the beach, and it was quite comfortable whether swimming in the sea or just relaxing in a chair and enjoying the view. Breakfast was unremarkable, despite seemingly having a wide variety. The Thai restaurant that's often recommended online isn't really worth it, but if you can't find anything else good, you might give it a try. The staff were very good and always tried their best to resolve any issues. Also, there are indeed a lot of Russians here. I especially loved the little elephant made from towels on the bed. đ„°

§Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. Itâs worth noting that the hotel caters primarily to Russian tourists, so much of the signage, tours and information are aimed at Russian guests. As an English speaker, this sometimes made things a little more difficult, but it didnât stop me from enjoying my holiday.
When I arrived, I had a couple of issues with my room. The hot tub took over an hour to fill, and the water wouldnât stay warm while it was running, so I wasnât really able to enjoy it. The charging ports in the room also werenât working, although the hotel kindly provided me with an adapter, which solved that problem. Unfortunately, the hot tub issue was never resolved.
The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of food each morning. The swimming pool was also lovelyâwarm, clean and a great place to relax.
My biggest concern was the fish spa. I initially thought seeing a dead fish was just a one-off, but I noticed dead fish in the spa every day during my stay. That made me question how well the spa was being maintained, and I hope the hotel looks into this.
The staff were always kind, polite and helpful, and despite the few issues, I had a lovely stay overall. With a little more attention to maintenance, particularly in the fish spa and the hot tub, this hotel would be even better.

Guest UserAfter reading many reviews, I chose this hotel, and my overall experience was excellent. The front desk staff, other employees, and the concierge were all warm, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive to every request. The hotel is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast spread is rich. It's also convenient to order food delivery. The front desk gave me a high-floor room with a fantastic view; I could see the sea right from the window. On a clear day, I could even catch a stunning sunset from the balcony. Evening strolls by the sea were lovely, with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves being very therapeutic. For my vacation next year, I'll definitely be back to this hotel to relax by the sea.

Guest UserI had an absolutely perfect holiday at Banyan Tree Sanya during the Mid-Autumn Festival. A special mention goes to the hotel for thoughtfully preparing a birthday cake for my companion on our first day, which was a wonderful surprise for everyone. On our departure day, knowing we had a late flight, the front desk proactively extended our check-out time to 1:30 PM, allowing us to relax and refresh without the rush and pressure of catching our flight. The entire trip was peaceful and comfortable, with exceptionally meticulous service that truly showed Banyan Tree Sanya's dedication.
I'd like to extend a special thank you to Sun, a staff member at Banyan Tree Sanya. During our stay, Sun was enthusiastic, thoughtful, and responsive. From the birthday decorations to coordinating our check-out, everything was handled perfectly, making us feel incredibly well cared for. It's because of excellent staff like Sun that our Mid-Autumn trip was so fulfilling and memorable. The next time I visit Sanya, I will definitely choose Banyan Tree Sanya again and highly recommend it to my friends and family!
