"The service at this hotel is amazing, everyone made me feel very welcome every day. The breakfast was very good, and as someone who stayed here for 2 weeks there was enough variety each day that I didn’t get very bored by the end. Housekeeping was great and provided ample amenities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The only downside of this hotel is its location in the CBD, which is not a safe area and experiences heavy traffic almost every day, especially during rush hour. However, the hotel itself is very safe, in the sense that I was not worried that any harm would come to me once I was inside the building. Additionally, there were often glitches with the WiFi, but unfortunately that is the case in most places in Zambia and the connectivity was usually stable enough to do video calls."

"Didn’t realise before booking that this is a Chinese-operated hotel aimed I would imagine at hosting the local Chinese workforce. All TV channels were in Chinese, breakfast was Chinese food, coffee machine instructions were in Chinese. However, the staff were all Zambian and extremely helpful. Supposed to be a no-smoking hotel but it smelled strongly of cigarettes in our corridor. Bathroom kept smelling like a ‘wet dog’. No facilities in the hotel but luckily a great bar and restaurant next door."

"I enjoyed everything at this hotel. The room was sizeable for a solo traveler. The bedding was just amazing...! I slept very very well. I am curious about their mattress brand, I want to buy it....! The breakfast spread was great. Healthy salads and changing buffet spreads everyday. I did not manage to use the fitness center and swimming pool on the Intercontinental side, but it was nice to have the option. The front office accomodated my very early checkout - 5am, and even organized with the kitchen for a breakfast baggie. There is taxi service to the airport but I did not use it."

LLauren GoatleyI usually have a good time at the resort and stayed a couple of times. This time from the start, there were a few things:
I had asked reception because we were going early, to have the breakfast boxes for the kids early to take at 5:30.
When we got to the restaurant in the evening it took a while to be served.
When we got the kids in the shower, there were no towels and when we phoned it took a while.
We also phoned to ask for normal milk as my child can’t have creomora and they said they would bring but never did.
Then our taxi driver let us down so I called reception to book an airport shuttle in the morning and she said she would call back but never did. Eventually after I called back, they got back to me with results. Didn’t tell me the price though.
When we checked out at 5:30, they didn’t have the breakfast boxes. And told us our taxi was K400 per head!
So all in all, wasn’t a great one.
