The hotel isn't new (est.2008) and looks old-fashioned but the room is clean and spacious. The view of the sea is stunning.
Buffet breakfast was various but it was rather hot in the restaurant and the coffee machines didn't work properly.
The room service was OK but I had to ask them to refill a shower gel bottle or gave back my own hangers.
All in all, the hotel is very good.

The location is great, with a night market, delicious restaurants, cafes, massage shops, and things to do near the city.
Add the hotel staff as friends on KakaoTalk and you can resolve any questions you have right away via KakaoTalk (I solved the TV problem and the shower drainage problem myself).
Instead, I saw the bartender twice. It's not that clean. There are too many rooms, so you have to wait a long time for the elevator.
I don't know much about the rest, except that the location is incredibly good.
But it's cheap, so it's okay if you're staying for 0.5 nights or playing in the city!
The view is great, the service staff is very friendly, they can speak basic English, communication is barrier-free, the room size is moderate, and the cost performance is high. The beach can be walked to the popular hotel Anan.
The disadvantages are that the sound insulation is average, especially the sound of dragging chairs next door and up and down the stairs. The hotel is still under construction and decoration, and many facilities are still being prepared. Especially on the last day, the construction started at more than seven in the morning. Isn’t it a bit disrespectful to the guests who come to vacation?
Friends who are sensitive to noise should remember to communicate with the staff.
I think this kind of resort is ideal for families, and especially wealthy families that don't mind paying exorbitant amounts of money for lunch and dinner. While the cost of a night's sleep was quite reasonable, everything else on site was very overpriced. I was also disappointed at the very limited stock in their on-site convenience store; not one single Vietnamese beer available (only Heineken, and Budweiser). You would hope that they would support the local economy at least a little bit.
The location, while close to the airport, was bascially in the countryside. It was a 15-minute taxi ride to civilization for any small shopping/eating, etc. Nha Trang, the closest city, was 40 minutes away. We stayed there a few nights before moving to Movenpick, and kinda wished we spent an extra night there rather than an extra night at Movenpick.
The pool closed at 7pm. After that, there is nothing to do. Beach access closes at 6.
The pools were great, especially early in the week, when there weren't so many people. But by Thursday, check-ins got busier, and the pool overfloweth with people.
The place was immaculately clean, relatively quite (some families next door and above were screaming until near midnight. We complained, and it got resolved.)
Breakfast buffet was varied,, but nothing special. Americanos and Lattes were available, but if you wanted Vietnamese coffee, they offered iced only. They strongly discouraged ordering a hot viet coffee, but I did anyway, and it came out lukewarm at best. No salted coffee, no egg coffee, no Vietnam feel in this place.
Overall, stay there if with kids. They'll love the pool, and the 'chocolate hour'. As a couple, I wouldn't recommend it.
We stayed here for 1 night and it was excellent. We stayed in the deluxe king room with a great sea view. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all the meals were delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly also. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting outside of nha trang as it gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel is also very close to the airport which is convenient for those travelling to and from the airport.

The staff at the Intercontinental are friendly, Kind and so helpful and all the staff we encountered during our week long stay deserve a 5* rating! Special mention goes to MI our waitress at breakfast every morning for being so lovely and caring and looking after our needs. 🙏💕🤗 Am being honest with my feedback in saying that the rooms could definitely use a revamp as they feel quite dated and not up to 5 star standard we would expect from the Intercontinental brand. Message to Management, please install a professional coffee machine in the breakfast room as the coffee we were provided with on the first morning of our stay was just awful! 😢
The hotel is located on the island with a private beach. The sea is calm due to the bay.
The hotel was full but you only noticed this during breakfast, the pool and beach was quiet.
The food of the buffet dinner was diverse and the desserts with different options of cakes and fruits and chocolate, really recommend it.
Near the hotel you can go in a 5 minute car inside the island to the harbor, have dinner and drinks and enjoy the night next to the river, at around 9pm there is usually an aquatic show.
The cable car to the continent is really beautiful day and night.
If you go with kids you will enjoy the kids club.
We stayed in a room with an ocean view and at night you can hear the sea waves.
The only suggestion we have is to improve the beach catering service to be able to request food and drinks more easily from the lounge chair.
Wow~~ I came on the last day of the 5 days, and it was the best during my stay in Vietnam! The hotel food has so many kinds and is delicious. There are also several swimming pools. It is so convenient and well-made that my family was satisfied and had a great time! I recommend it to my friends.
What a. Incredible experience we had staying at this 5 ⭐️ hotel. The breakfast buffet was mind blowing as it had such an expansive variety. The beds were by far the softest beds we have ever had the luxury of sleeping on . It was only by force and a miracle we left the beds at all during our stay 🤣
The staff were so friendly and helpful especially since we have two young children. Everyone was more than willing to help us with our 1 year old son when ever possible. The pool was gorgeous and had a cool island style swing for the kids and a jungle gym in the kids section of the pool. The beach was beautiful and clean.

TTATIANAWe are very glad that we chose this hotel! The beach is 5 minutes away, the tourist area, cafes, bars, restaurants and a shopping center are close, but it is very quiet!
Delicious and varied breakfasts. Cozy pool area on the 4th floor. True, the water is not heated. There are not many guests here. There is a gym nearby. There is a bar.
Very friendly staff, always ready to help. The restaurant, bar and reception staff were always friendly. I would especially like to mention Anh, who met us at 6 am on the first day and saw us off on the last day.
Mixed feelings only from the quest with towels. Every day after cleaning we found them in different places - in the bathroom, on the bed, in the closet, near the refrigerator. ))) But) cleaning was really every day.
GGuest UserI've had an wonderful vacation in Alma resort.
Huge thanks to Alma resort!
Every request was promptly done, every staff I met was kind with smile, and everything was perfect!
I have not even a single complain about staying.
I strongly recommend the resort to my friends and others!
GGuest UserI made two separate bookings and will be staying at Fusion for a total of 5 nights, which covers all of my time in Nha Trang. The resort is expansive and boasts a beautiful private beach. One of the resort reception staff members, Thay, is exceptionally friendly and thoughtful. The resort's breakfast buffet offers an abundance of fruits, may source from their own farm. We spotted peacocks and goats wandering along the paths, which was quite charming. The best aspect of Fusion, in my opinion, is the all-inclusive spa. We are able to choose one spa treatment per day.
There are two main areas for improvement: Firstly, the resort is quite far from the town, and the shuttle bus service only runs one service to the city and two back to the hotel a day. If you opt for a taxi, it takes approximately 45 minutes to reach the town. Secondly, dining options are limited, with only two on-site eateries and no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby.
GGuest UserThe main benefit is definitely the location, it's not far from the the downtown of Nha Trang, so in comparison to other resorts, here you can order a taxi and get to the city center within 10-20 minutes. The resort itself is great, everything is new and clean, very scenic view from the lobby, the staff is polite and caring. Breakfasts are tasty. The terrirory (beach and alleys) is not big, but on the other hand the resort has two swimming pools, so it was easy enough to find a sun lounger even during busy hours.
I would recommend this type of vacation experience for families with children, as imho for couples and lone travellers this kind of resort would be a little bit boring and for the families with kids all conditions are provided: children can enjoy the swimming pool and parents can chill under the sun.
FFrancescaThis place is high recommended if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. The resort is amazing, inside the green, arranged with villa (different size) distributed on the surface on the hotel area. The room is beautiful and well organised, with private outside area.
It is close to airport (20 min), has private beach with very nice sea.
The service is very good, the outside area is super followed by management.
The breakfast is wonderful and huge, for lunch and dinner there are 2 restaurants (international/ Vietnamese and Italian cuisine) with a good selection of proposals.
Also the spa is high recommended.
Just the gym is a little small and I would suggest to create a “yoga” room for some exercises on the floor.
In general we spent a great time here
RREESFor the price, exceptional. The room did not entirely match the pictures provided as the balcony provided was very narrow, so narrow in fact that a chair could only fit if placed sideways. The furniture in the room was also not well arranged, placed together at the end of the bed. All in all though, for the price, this is really an unbeatable offer. Staff at the desk were friendly and attentive, we encountered none of the issues with waiting mentioned in other reviews. The room was clean and the location was excellent. Despite a minor complaint about the balcony I wouldn't hesitate to return.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is generally not bad, we stayed here in two different room categories. The rooms are spacious, good ventilation in the room. We asked for a quiet room, the request was fulfilled. Not all the staff is friendly, only men greet and smile, the girls do not pay attention to us. In our reservation, there was an early check-in at 1 p.m., but the staff refused to check in before 2 o'clock. Welcome drinks are also given apparently only to select people, we were not given them. When checking in, many guests are helped by the staff to carry their things to the room, we were also bypassed in this regard.
