"A go to hotel when I'm in Boston. Newton is a suburb but you can be in Boston very quickly but no subway stations nearby. It's right over the Massachusetts turnpike (but I've never felt bothered by highway traffic noise) it's not in town but couldn't be closer to the highway that gets you into the city or directly to the airport. It's got a great bar connected called Social that has really good food and live music sometimes on weekends and another small, neighborhood style bar right across the street (Buff's Pub) that has solid pub food and some of the best wings in the Boston area. They will for sure have whichever Boston sports game on. Bar closes early though, maybe 11pm. A great pizza place and a few other restaurants and a liquor store in walking distance (and a Dunkin' Donuts). Service is always good, the pool is quite small but it exists and is old but clean. No gym. Breakfast is solid. Parking Garage too."

Conveniences include safes and separate sitting areas, and housekeeping is provided daily.

"The Somerville Cumbria Hotel boasts a prime location near Harvard University in Boston, easily accessible on foot or by taxi to the campus and surrounding commercial areas, making it convenient for travelers visiting the campus. The hotel's overall facilities are average. Rooms are standardly laid out, bedding is clean and tidy, and hot water is readily available, meeting basic accommodation needs. However, the facilities lack any standout features, and some equipment appears somewhat outdated. Compared to hotels in the same price range, the amenities are adequate but unremarkable. Parking is available, but the $50 per night parking fee is relatively high, increasing the overall cost. Front desk service is responsive, and check-in and check-out are smooth, meeting the standards of a chain hotel. In summary, the hotel's location is its core advantage, but the facilities and parking costs detract from its overall value. It is suitable for travelers with specific location requirements and lower sensitivity to facilities and cost."

"About a ten-minute walk from the subway station. It's not in the city center, but the distance to downtown is still acceptable. The air conditioning in the hotel was terrible. I arrived in late April and still needed the heating on. It was either scorching hot, with the room approaching 30 degrees Celsius, or not warm enough, only 19 degrees. When I asked the front desk staff, their solution was to restart the heating myself. However, after restarting, the heater made an incredibly loud noise, so much so that I needed earplugs to sleep."

"Choosing this home, the price is OK, not too far from the city center, the room is a bit old, fairly clean and tidy. There is also an antique piano in the hall that can be played. The breakfast is worth mentioning, the stock is sufficient, and there is a machine for self-baked waffles and pancakes. The children like to roast and like it, eating a lot of cakes. It’s just a shop selling cars nearby, but there is a stop shop and a KFC. The next day I found out that I went to a nearby Chinese buffet. It’s very good!"

citizenM Boston Back Bay puts you in the center of one of the city's most beloved neighborhoods - historic, leafy and full of charm. Surrounded by museums, major universities and classic Boston landmarks, it's your launchpad for proper New England living. Inside, 21st-century comforts await: XL king-size beds, blackout blinds, mood lighting, tablet-controlled everything, and fast free Wi-Fi. Hungry? canteenM is open 24/7. Need to unwind? Our living room is made for lounging. With contactless check-in and world-class art on the walls, it's equal parts stylish and smart. You are also steps from Hynes Convention Center station and a short ride to Logan Airport - so getting in and out is as breezy as Back Bay in autumn.

"citizenM feels a bit more fun and welcoming compared to other modern hotels. The rooms are still on the smaller side, but they’re super comfortable, especially the big bed that takes up most of the space. Everything is controlled with an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The lobby areas are a highlight, with lots of space to hang out, work, or grab a drink. It feels more social than your typical hotel. Overall, it’s a great pick if you like a stylish, relaxed vibe without spending too much."

AAnonymous UserIn Southborough, very close to the company, nice and quiet environment The front desk service was very good. I arrived quite late at night and was given freshly baked cookies, which was very considerate The room was quite large, the two large beds were very comfortable, the bathroom facilities were also good, and the cloakroom was very convenient You can watch Netflix and other movies on the TV for a fee, and there is also cable TV The only drawback is that the coffee machine is very dirty, with dust inside and outside, and needs to be washed before use. The disposable cups and cup lids provided are also covered with dust I don’t know if this room has not been occupied for a long time Please check the hygiene of the room before checking in

Ssofiia ShokhinaThe hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality. However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests. During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information about additional mandatory charges only appeared after payment was completed, when cancellation was no longer possible, wich is disappointing. Upon arrival, we were charged $200, which was later explained as $25 per person per night - something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process or at check-in. Initially, we believed this payment was a refundable deposit, as no clear explanation was provided. What felt particularly unacceptable was the way additional fees appeared in multiple stages: 1. extra charges becoming visible only after payment and confirmation, 2. additional payments required again upon arrival at the hotel, and 3. further unexplained charges after checkout - in our case, an additional $16 was withdrawn without clear justification. A staff member kindly explained that the resort fee includes Wi-Fi, water, and tea in the room, which we did use as they are standard services normally included in hotel stays worldwide. The fee also covered additional optional amenities such as bicycle parking and a complimentary alcoholic drink at the bar. However, we did not use these extra amenities, as they were not relevant to our stay. Since these services are optional by nature, it was unclear why guests are not given the choice to opt out instead of being required to pay for them regardless of usage. Even more concerning is that these mandatory resort fees are presented as payment for comfort and amenities, yet the overall stay did not fully reflect this. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbour’s television. The manual heating system in our room also did not function properly. We chose not to report these issues at the time because we spent little time in the hotel and did not expect the final cost of the stay to become so high. In hindsight, considering the total amount paid, these comfort issues become more significant. We strongly believe that all mandatory taxes and service fees should be transparently included in the total hotel price from the beginning. When fees continue to appear after payment, during check-in, and even after departure, guests understandably feel uncomfortable and misled. Because the final amount paid was much higher than expected, we realized that for the same total price we could have chosen a better hotel without additional hidden fees - which we in fact did for our following stay. We kindly ask the hotel to review these charges and consider a partial refund, as greater transparency and fairness in pricing would greatly improve trust and the overall guest experience

GGuest UserThis Westin was a pleasant surprise on our trip. Boston's prices are high, especially on weekends, so most hotels were expensive. We settled on the Westin after weighing our options. Once we arrived, we found the location to be excellent, right on Copley Square, directly opposite the library and Trinity Church. It's just a few minutes' walk to the start of the Freedom Trail, and convenient for getting to the beautiful shopping streets and Chinatown. The room was spacious, simply furnished, and clean. The hotel restaurant also had good food, and the staff were very enthusiastic. When we checked out, they even called my daughter by her name to say goodbye. Highly recommended!

ZZILIThis Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude. There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation. In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.

YYixinerxing7284Location: The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of downtown attractions like the Freedom Trail, Tea Party Museum, Quincy Market, City Hall, and Boston Common. Harvard is accessible by subway, and MIT is a walk away on the return trip. Both Boston South Station and North Station (which has a large Star Pharmacy supermarket) and the airport shuttle drop-off point are within walking distance. Chinatown and Macy's are a 5-minute walk away. Cleanliness: Decent. Value for Money: Alright. A good choice if you prioritize saving time and feeling safe. Room Size: The twin room was a suitable size. Soundproofing: Decent. Room Amenities: The beds are high and the mattresses are quite soft. The bathroom has a bathtub (low and small), the showerhead is a bit low, and the water pressure is average. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. No slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. The room has a microwave and a mini-fridge. There's a free ice machine and water dispenser in the hallway. Service: Check-in is at 3 PM, check-out at 12 PM. Early check-in costs an additional $50. Luggage storage is available in advance (free). A $100 per day deposit is required at check-in (held on the bank card, refunded within 2 hours after check-out). Complimentary cookies are given at check-in (very sweet). The hotel lobby bar features a singer in the evening, offering an American bar atmosphere.

Yyuan~erThe location is average and the health is OK. We are working there so choose. If it is a trip, it is more troublesome, because it costs 30 dollars to take a taxi to the city and 30 dollars to Harvard University. There are no slippers and toiletries in the room, and there are no hotels in the United States. It is very strange. Breakfast is mainly cold meals. It is good to use it as a fast hotel. SSergei TonkovAn excellent new hotel. The rooms are small, but very comfortable! A comfortable large bed right by the window with a city view (at check-in, you can choose a low or high floor and whether or not to have a city view). Check-in is easy. The shower and all the plumbing are new, everything is superb. Modern TV. The lighting, air conditioning, TV, etc. are controlled from a tablet, which is also very convenient. There are two types of curtains: blackout and sun protection. The area is convenient – you can quickly reach Cambridge, and Downtown is a 15-minute walk away. , the Freedom Trail is also nearby. The hotel is located in the bus station building, but there are few people around, so it doesn't feel like a neighbor. However, there is a large food court nearby, a huge supermarket with a huge selection of everything, including alcohol and prepared foods. Also across the street is Little Italy, with many delicious restaurants and bars. Overall, we are very glad we chose this hotel.
