Guest UserI recently stayed at this hotel with my family, hoping for a relaxing break. However, our experience was far from what we expected.
Upon check-in, there was no mention of any building works taking place. It wasn’t until later that we noticed a small sign in the hotel lift, casually mentioning that disturbances might occur between 9 AM and 5 PM from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, this warning was not only insufficient but also inaccurate. We were rudely awakened at 7:15 AM by loud drilling, far earlier than the supposed start time.
When we went down for breakfast, we were shocked to find that the building work had already begun, well before 9 AM too. The noise and disruption made it impossible to enjoy and certainly not a relaxing start to the day. The coffee was dreadful, as another reviewer had mentioned, and the breakfast experience was further marred by the staff’s lack of attention. If you are lucky enough to have your table wiped, don’t expect it to be done with a clean cloth or any cleaning products. Rooms shabby, location however is good.
The situation worsened after we checked out. Despite having prepaid for our stay through Trip.com, we were charged again on our credit card for the entire stay, 24 hours after departure. This has resulted in the hassle of trying to get the hotel to refund us from overseas and we’ve had to engage our credit card company to assist with the dispute. While Trip.com has done their best to secure compensation for the building work disruption, the hotel has been utterly uncooperative occurring to trip.com seniors.
Adding insult to injury, we didn’t even receive a goodbye when we checked out—just a lacklustre experience from start to finish. This hotel is part of a large chain it seems, but it’s clear that they are not customer-focused at all. I would strongly advise reconsidering whether they deserve your money. There are plenty of other places that understand the basics of hospitality….. improvements needed!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely stunning, very close to the train station, right outside the door. It's super convenient for transport, and the surroundings are beautiful. The lobby is grand, and the front desk service is excellent. Breakfast is abundant, the room layout is well-designed, and the bed is very comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

ThingolWe stayed here overnight before flying home. It was a wonderful hotel with an excellent breakfast and a lovely swimming pool! There was also table tennis and a well-equipped gym in the basement of the building, in addition to a sauna in each of the gendered changing rooms.
It is a little difficult to reach the hotel, though there is a shuttle bus. The hotel would benefit tremendously by developing a guide to show customers how they can easily access the hotel via foot from each of the respective airport terminals and via the free airport shuttle bus (I believe it was the T3 Alfa, bus). Finding the hotel was not trivial, even after checking in advance. Following google maps does seem to work, but you do get the awful sensation that it might try to lead you to places you don't want to end up (i.e., the high-way!). This is why I recommend the hotel creates a detailed guide on how to access the hotel, from the airport terminal buildings.
If you are worried about reaching the hotel (it isn't far - it is walkable if accessibility isn't an issue), then I recommend you call them in advance and ask them for travel instructions. If accessibility is an issue for you and walking is difficult, I would recommend you call the hotel and ask them whether you would be able to reach the free airport shuttle bus terminal from your arrival destination - if not, I'm afraid you will have to call an uber/taxi to get you there as it is a long walk with luggage.
Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would look to book again in the future.

Guest UserThis trip made me fall in love with Sweden!🩷 The staff were friendly and explained everything clearly. There were always staff at the front desk 24 hours a day. 👍🏻 The location is great, with a station and shops nearby. 👍🏻 You need to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk and leave a form of ID. 😊 The room has shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. 😉 Drinking water can be taken directly from the tap, so there's no kettle in the room. Only toilet paper is provided in the room; for environmental reasons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers are not. Luggage storage requires payment for a locker. There are different activities in the lobby every night that you can participate in.

I had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent.
The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore.
The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit.
Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Gangtou1973The hotel is very conveniently located close to Train Stations 41 and 40, falling within the 'Small' transport card zone. The nearby palace is worth a visit if you have some free time. However, upon checking in, a man who appeared to be Indian opened our room door, claiming he was there to perform a hygiene check. My daughter and I were absolutely terrified; it was horrifying. This clearly demonstrates a serious management oversight. Fortunately, we weren't changing clothes at the time. For the rest of our stay, we kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on our door.

Guest UserHad a fantastic stay at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. The location is unbeatable—right next to the Central Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and traveling to and from the airport.
The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with great views overlooking the waterfront. What truly stood out was the friendly and professional staff, who were always helpful and welcoming throughout my stay.
The breakfast spread was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to start the day. Being within walking distance of Gamla Stan, shopping areas, and many of Stockholm’s attractions made the experience even better.
Highly recommend Sheraton Stockholm for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in the heart of the city.

NiumakeThe hotel is centrally located in Stockholm. It's about a 10-minute walk from Central Station after taking the Arlanda Express from the airport. The rooms are a bit small but functional, and the breakfast spread is decent. The common areas are quite comfortable. It's also a short walk to the T-Centralen metro station, making it convenient to experience Stockholm's famously well-designed subway system.

It is impeccable. The hotel is located in a quiet high-end residential area. The hotel itself has been in two buildings for years. Each has a public area. The first building to enter the door has a front desk and a public rest area. A restaurant, the second building has a public area on the first two or three floors. There is another restaurant on the first floor. All the public area decorations are very comfortable. Fresh cakes and water are provided in the lounge area every day, as well as alcohol. Liquor needs to be paid. You write the variety and room number on a book next to it.
The restaurant is very delicious, you need to make an appointment in advance, the first restaurant is relatively simple, you can choose 1 to 5 dishes, eat 5 dishes per capita at about 1,000 yuan, the second restaurant is 7 dishes, the price is more expensive, because we have no appointment at the local festival, it should be good. We ate two nights at the first restaurant, two completely different menus.
Breakfast is relatively simple, but the quality is very good, all are made now, can not be ordered, very fresh ingredients.
The Swedes are more reserved and will not show too warm, but very friendly, what you need to tell them directly, they will try their best to help, there are some snacks in the room that are free, drinks are for money, no kettle, but you can ask the front desk.
We didn't book a large room (very popular), the basic room type is relatively small, but there are some, even a full set of skin care products.
All in all, this is the best small boutique hotel I have ever stayed in, and we bought a lot of organic toiletries for the hotel when we left.
