"Hotel location ok, but not very well signed. Appalling parking. Room allocated (Queen) ok but location appalling ( open curtains to look onto maintenance yard!) Very poor hot water in shower/bathroom. Towels appalling, very old and very hard. Wouldn’t clean my car with them. Restaurant food very good except no wine of any nature despite the menu offering a wide selection. So very poor management control. Swimming pool okay except some scum on surface of water and the mosaic tiles in and around pool needed cleaning  badly and missing and loose tiles needed replacing. Better house keeping needed."

"I had such a fun stay at Rucksack Hostel! The place was comfortable, the atmosphere was really welcoming, and it was easy to meet people from all over. I especially loved that there were different events every night—it made the whole experience so much more fun. Big shoutout to Bryson for being one of the kindest and most accommodating people there. He was always friendly, helpful, and made everyone feel welcome. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay here again if I’m back! "Our stay at this hotel during our recent Siargao trip was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness made us feel comfortable throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself is newly opened, and it shows in the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere after long days of exploring the island. We also appreciated the quality amenities provided, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. "Honestly, the stay at Almont Inland Resort was a highlight of our Butuan trip. My friend and I booked a two-bedroom suite, and having that extra space for privacy while still having a spot to hang out together made all the difference. It felt more like a comfortable home than a standard hotel room. The grounds are like a quiet, green oasis hidden away from the city noise, and the staff were genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Between the great food and the relaxing vibe, everything was spot on. I’d definitely head back there next time I’m in town."

"Overall a very good resort, located on the main road close to all the action and night life. They provide a free tuk tuk to take you to a particular place on this road whether it is a restaurant or the Cloud nine beach. The resort has its own small beach. The villas have a fan and air con.. The bathroom has 2 showers, one inside and one outside which is nice.The shower heads though are due for decalcification to provide a good and comfortable shower. Be aware that villas that are located close to the road are quite noisy. Breakfast is buffet style and is served near the pool. If you arrive before the official check in time of 2pm and even if your villa is ready, you will have to pay an extra fee to get the key."

It's the kind of place where you instantly slow down and appreciate your surroundings. The entire property is picturesque, tranquil, and incredibly well-positioned. For the quality of the experience, the stunning location, and the level of privacy it offers, it represents exceptional value for money. A true hidden gem and somewhere I would return to without hesitation."

"This hotel is a bit far from the center of General Luna, but still within walking distance. Being a little further out makes it quiet. Although it's long and narrow, it is technically beachfront, so you can step out of your room and walk to the beach to enjoy the ocean view, even at night. Like everywhere else, there are dogs roaming around, which can be a bit unsettling. The hotel is owned by a Westerner, and the staff are friendly."
