"The hotel environment and facilities are very new and clean. It's located right next to the airport, just a few minutes' walk away, which is super convenient for travelers catching a 6 AM flight, eliminating any transportation worries. Also, because we were concerned our rental car wouldn't have enough space for all our luggage, I emailed the hotel to ask if we could store our bags a few days before our check-in when we arrived in Christchurch, and then pick them up when we officially checked in days later. The hotel quickly replied by email, confirming it was possible and free of charge. They even arranged for my family to stay in the adjacent room for easier care. This was truly fantastic! 😀"

"Due to heavy rain on the west coast, I went back to the town and stayed for one night. It was clean. Every room on the first floor has a back door to the garden. Breakfast is included. Bread, jam, coffee and tea are included. The whole meal seems to be 21.5 yuan. , Feng Jian by people"

Since it's a relatively new hotel, the facilities are brand new with no signs of age or unpleasant odors. There's also a small gym, convenient for a quick workout during a road trip. The hotel has its own free parking, so self-driving guests have no worries about parking. "Sudima Hotel Christchurch was an absolutely excellent choice during my trip to New Zealand's South Island. What impressed me most was the clean and modern interior design that greeted me as soon as I entered the room. The fresh and fluffy bedding allowed me to perfectly unwind from the fatigue of travel. The warm and friendly service from the staff made for a pleasant experience throughout my stay. From check-in to guidance on local attractions, their thoughtful consideration made me feel truly valued. Furthermore, the quality of both breakfast and other meals offered at the hotel's restaurant was superb, ensuring satisfying dining experiences. In terms of location, it boasts excellent accessibility to Christchurch city center and major tourist spots, as well as convenient transportation to and from the airport, making itinerary management very easy. With impeccable cleanliness, friendly service, and a superb location, there was nothing lacking at this accommodation. I would not hesitate to choose it again for my next visit to Christchurch."

"The location is fantastic, right in the city center. It's just a few hundred meters to the Cardboard Cathedral and Riverside Market, and the hotel is in a shopping district so you can go shopping as soon as you step out. However, the room is tiny, especially the bathroom – if you're a bit on the larger side, you might struggle to even get in. Plus, there's no closet, and a large suitcase won't fit anywhere. On the bright side, the room cleaning service is very good; someone tidies up every day, and the towels are always replaced with fresh ones."

"This hostel was very clean and comfortable. The common areas and kitchen were also spotless and well-equipped, making even a stay in the dormitory very pleasant. Most importantly, the location was superb, with Lake Tekapo right in front of you. It was convenient not only for enjoying the daytime scenery but also for going out stargazing. The staff were also very helpful, making it a safe place to stay even for solo travelers. If I come to Tekapo again, I would definitely want to stay here!"

"Christchurch truly lives up to its reputation as a garden city; the hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of all attractions and close to entertainment venues. The only downside was that it was the first hotel I encountered that handed me an invoice at 2 AM! 🫨"

"On the trip advisor website, it said payment WAS NOT TAKEN until ARRIVAL…and YET it was TAKEN, IMMEDIATLY!!! It said it was NONREFUNDABLE  AND a PENALTY FEE would APPLY for a CANCELLATION!!! Albeit a LAST minute EMERGENCY, we were COMING, it was STRESSFUL upon ARRIVAL! The Hotel STAFF..EXCELLENT! The Food….GOOD, but LIMITED Menu, Especially after the second night! The Airport Shuttle was Absolutely USELESS to us, because of LIMITED EARLY HOUR “service” and advice on how to access Christchurch Central…Poor! BUT the OVERALL Christchurch/New Zealand  Experience was…FANTASTIC,  We would HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE!!!!"

"HoteI had a great stay at this hotel. It is newly built and conveniently located near the airport, which made it very easy and convenient for us. There aren’t many other hotels nearby, and the nearest ones are about a 15-minute walk away. However, this wasn’t a problem because the hotel itself has a beautiful and clean restaurant. The food was also quite good, so we were able to enjoy a satisfying meal without having to go outside. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very convenient, especially because of its location near the airport. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place to stay near the airport."
