With big luggage in tow, our middle of the night slow walk to airport took around 15 to 20mins. Traffic was of course very minimal and weather was NZ cold. If we're gonna catch an early morning flight again, there's a very high chance we'd stay here again.

Is just walking distance to the Christchurch airport (less than 5 mins). There are a big Woolsworth Supermarket and many eateries around the area too and probably takes about 10mins to walk from the hotel. Hotel room is spacious and clean , modern and price is reasonable.

Excellent location to explore Christchurch attractions. Very clean and well appointed room for an excellent price (I was wondering what It may be getting into). The room quality was a 3+ star for US standards. The only negative is the lack of parking (only offstreet parking or may have to drive a block away for parking). The clean room, friendly staff and excellent location and the overall niceness of Christchurch and it's people in general made us quickly get over the initial stress of trying to find a place to park. The female dorm room (4) was awesome. There were plenty of outlets to charge devices, plenty of storage for each person's luggage, comfy and spotless beds, and the room was super warm in winter! The hostel is quiet and modern, with gorgeous views across Lake Tekapo and a brilliant lounge with beanbags and sofas overlooking the view. The staff were super lovely and helpful. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The location is right in the centre of the town near to the supermarket and Dark Sky Project centre.

A cute chalet in the town centre. Nearby the petrol station n also grocery store. Internet connection has been good. Has a small kitchen with stove, microwave for cooking. Cooking utensils are provided. Pls take note not to cook anything that has a strong smell in nature. Has a tv set n a sofa set n a dining table. Overall, satisfied with the chalet, although bathroom us a bit small.

Peppers Bluewater Resort is located in village centre and is looking very nice. We had a very small room 14.7sqm with king size bed and because of this there was not much room left to move around comfortably, not to mention for chairs, table to sit and have a tea or coffee, so the bed was making up for them. Despite having basic amenities such as kettle, cups and tee, the room is not prepared to enjoy drinking it inside. Bathroom cleanliness was not up to sctrach, noticed bunch of hair in the bathroom corner. The price that we paid for this place wasn't reflected in what we got. During our stay in NZ we had much better rooms for much less. Very disappointing experience.

It's OK for one person, but the space will be a little smaller for two people. The hotel is located about a 20-minute walk from the Botanical Garden and the city center. There are no tall buildings in this city, just short houses.

Please note that the entire place does not have any rooms that have ensuite bathroom, it doesn’t exist. I remembered checking on this before I booked, stated that there was an ensuite bathroom, that’s why I booked it. But when checking in, the receptionist say that it doesn’t exist, we only got a private room. He mentioned that maybe there was way back before a change in management/renovation, but now there isn’t any more. There are 4 private rooms on the 2nd floor, and 1 shared toilet and shower room for the 4 rooms, but if it’s occupied we can go the 1st floor. The room is quite tiny, with minimal space for luggage. So don’t bring all ur luggages if you are only staying 1-2 nights, pack it into 1 bag would be good, also cuz there’s no lift, you’ll have to carry up your luggage up the stairs.

It's my last stop before I fly back home for good after a 2 weeks holiday in NZ. It's a total disaster experience as the lady restaurant manager (working on 23 May 2023, 9pm), was plain rude when I approached her politely wanting to ask her whether the restaurant was still operating since it was late already. She was then holding a tray of empty cups, gave me a stare, and whispered an insincere 'sorry' with a frustrated facial and dashed right past me. Mind you, there was only 1 table of 2 guests in the entire restaurant. Not wanting to spoil our mood further, I have decided to walk away calmly, be the bigger self, and head to the bar instead. Honestly, it was totally not the busiest day since it's a Tuesday evening, the bartender was so impatient in trying to wait for us to make our orders (we are only ordering 2 drinks my dear), he wasn't helpful in trying to provide alternative (since one of the drinks we wanted is OOS) or wait for JUST another minute for us to look through the short food menu quickly to decide what food we wanted to add on to our order. He quickly decided to push us to the restaurant if we wanted food. Hello? If we were ordering drinks at the bar, why would we want to order bar food to eat at the restaurant? Perhaps we aren't looking too groomed to garner his prestigious service that's why he was pushing us away? My goodness... this is the worst ever experience I had in my entire stay here. Every other accommodation service staff we have met was friendly, polite, and treats us with loving respect. I honestly do not expect a reputable hotel to have such horrible service.

This little hotel is very modern and a nice place. We booked a private double room. The only complaint I can think of is that at 9 o'clock in the morning, when we were still trying to sleep in, the cleaners came in to clean the room! It would be nice to have a Do Not Disturb sign or have a cleaner knock on the door before entering. The location of the hotel is great, only a 5-minute walk from Memorial Bridge and restart mall. When you truly understand this city and then visit it, you will find how strong the emotional color of the whole city is. This hotel is perfect as a base.

DATE OF TRAVEL: July 2023 Stayed here for 10 days on a business trip. Room and bathroom was great but the beds are awful. They are not attached to a bed head and are an ensemble base only so they move around. I had a better sleep in a motel in Timaru, which is a shame because working 10 hour days, staying in a 5* hotel, one would think you'd sleep like a baby. Fortunately the shower's high pressure and the bath were great, Apart from that, the hotel grounds is beautiful with ample parking. My room had a veranda which I liked to sit on and watch the traffic go by. I had requested a microwave so as to meal prep due to my diabetes and this was in there prior to check in which was great. Hotel is just around the corner from a heap of restaurants and Westfield Ricccarton and right next to Hagley Park which was great for a morning walk. In room dining was fine, nothing special. I tried the breakfast buffet in the restaurant on the Saturday and it was lacklastre. Didn't end up going back. Plenty of cafes around anyway. All up, I rate my stay there 4*. The facilities were great, the requests were met eagerly and the bathroom was fantastic. The room itself is really well appointed but the bed is awful which detracts a star. I'd stay there again with my wife though, maybe bring some *****s to attach to the bed legs to stop them from moving around though!

Perfect location for exploring on foot. Apartments are very well-equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils. Handy to have washer and dryer too. A bonus was the dishwasher. I had a studio unit on the 6th floor which was warm, light and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Studio very quiet with no traffic or guest noise. Good lighting for reading and sewing - definitely not always the case in accommodation. Supermarkets, shops, galleries, Botanical gardens etc. all within walking distance. Reception and housekeeping staff were very professional, helpful, polite and friendly. Ahmed, on the front desk, was excellent.

Excellent location! So close to everything in the city centre, we used the valet parking service and didnt take the car out once!, we could easily walk everywhere. We stayed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom suite, which was nice and clean, well appointed, and with a super comfy bed. They even had a wee sewing kit and a toothbrush kit, which are definitely things we've needed on our travels! Facilities in the hotel were great and staff were very friendly and attentive. Quintin from concierge was so helpful, and helped make our stay extra special by organizing wine and platters and delivering balloons to our room for our arrival :) Breakfast was also really yummy. Thank you Fable Christchurch! We really enjoyed our stay :)

The location is very convenient. It is within walking distance of the Botanical Garden and the Internet celebrity ice cream. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel's twin room is very comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom is also large. It is worth staying in a hotel like this at this price.

Booked 1 night accommodation through an on-line booking site (Expedia). Unfortunately there was a problem with the booking in that they hadn't included my child in the booking so the accommodation booked (motel room) could only accommodate 2 people. Thankfully the staff were fantastic and managed to find us an alternative option for no extra cost. The cabin we stayed in was fantastic and the place has undergone a massive upgrade since we last stayed here in 2011. The cabin was clean, cosy and we had everything we needed for our staff. Great BBQ available outside of the cabin which we made use of for dinner & brekkie and location is superb. An adventure when travelling with a 6 year old as accommodation felt very safe. (lots of families around due to scholl holidays). Easy 5 min stroll to Tekapo Hot Springs. Would recommend and advise to just book directly with the accommodation rather than an on-line secondary service.

Great little place to stay at during our visit to Lake Tekapo. With a quiet neighbourhood and beautiful views. It snowed while we were there, which was fantastic! We found the place to be nice and warm and the bed to be comfortable as well as the bathroom is great! Downsides were that some of the dishes were not clean, which put us off. Also someone had cooked curry in the microwave so it stunk out the microwave as well as half of the place smelt of curry. I would love to stay here again but expect that since a cleaning fee is paid that the placed is cleaned better.

The hotel location is close to supermarkets and restaurants! About ten minutes away! The most important thing is that the hotel is too clean and the view is too beautiful. The toilet floor should have automatic heating🥲It is nice and warm even in winter. The floor-to-ceiling glass is very satisfying! If you ask the hotel to borrow a barbecue grill for the night, they will prepare it for you early in the morning! Thumbs up!

A nice place to stay. Had a lake view room with bath, which was great. Had stayed around ten year ago and it has recently been refurbished. Bed super comfy and warm. It has heating but no aircon, so would be very warm during January February unless there was a good breeze blowing. Isabella on reception went above and beyond in sorting out wifi issue that some of us guests were experiencing which turned out to be an update issue from their providers. Thanks for your calm manner and great attitude in ensuring we we were sorted out. Jacks cafe on premises is superb too. See separate review.

Absolutely, a wonderful place during the trip in Tekapo, which has spacious room and built-in kitchen that is easy to cook for yourself because the nearest fourth-quarter market is just 10 minutes walk. It’s a self-service hotel and very easy to check in after you get your password from your e-mail to access in your ordered separate house. You can just walk away and enjoy the stunning view and food just alongside the small street.

The newly built house has super new equipment, such as a large TV and a brand new air conditioner. 3. The owner of the house was considerate and gave us a big blanket, which is useful for watching the stars in the middle of the night. 4. The location is good, the starry sky is easy to see, and I even saw shooting stars🌠 Not satisfied with the place 1. The bed will squeak and make a loud noise when you turn over, disturbing your sleep. 2. Construction of a new house at the door will start at 8am in the morning 3. The sound insulation effect is not good. You can hear clearly when walking next door in the middle of the night.

The location is good, about 7 minutes' walk from the center of the town. The room has ample heating equipments, so you can have a warm sleep even in the coldest winter days. However, the sound insulation condition is bad and will interact with the guests on the other side of a thin wooden door. The most difficult thing to understand is the area is less than 40 square meters, but the introduction says 80 square meters. The room is relatively clean. It is equipped with a kitchen because it is a homestay. There are various tableware and kitchenware in the kitchen. You can cook your own food. It is wider than the house in front, so you can free up some space to see the mountains in the distance. The environment is very beautiful. I found a small pond in front.

tekapo停電了，我們被迫換到這個小鎮上，很幸運碰到了一個剛開業的motel，衞生環境都很好。 餐具很齊全，可以自己做飯，離超市也不遠，步行大概20多分鐘。如果需要洗衣服的話，也有洗烘一體機。

Twizel is very much a summer destination so the hotel offers accommodation only We were warmly welcomed and immediately told that neither the restaurant nor the bar would be open. As Twizel was just our overnight stop on our way from Christchurch to Queenstown this was not a major issue. It became no issue at all when it was pointed out that Poppies cafe and restaurant was just across the street from the hotel We were given a local map and we were recommended a restaurant for our evening meal a short drive away. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is away from the town centre so it was very quiet. We got a good night's sleep. Poppies lived up to its billing and the brunch set us up for the day's drive. While I have deducted one star for the lack of onsite catering it was not an issue for us. I would certainly be happy to return to the hotel in the summer and stay for a few days to explore the town and its surroundings.

The landlord was very nice. When I arrived, I found that the car had a flat tire and no spare tire was found. The next day, because the phone call was exhausted, the dealer contacted the landlord directly, and the landlord asked the dealer to deliver the tire directly. The room is overall very clean, spacious, and the location is very convenient. Located in the small town of Twizel, 47 minutes from Mount Cook and quite close to Lake Pukaki. The people in this small town are very nice~ However, I want to complain to Ctrip. My father and I had to sleep separately in the double bed and single bed booked on the system. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we found out that Ctrip had assigned us a double bed in the hotel system, which made it inconvenient for us at night. Bad reviews on Ctrip.
