"We booked a family room for three people, which consisted of two separate rooms separated by a wall. It could sleep 3-4 people, and the bathroom was very spacious. The layout was excellent, and the hotel was very well maintained. The breakfast was fantastic; you can enjoy a delicious breakfast here, and the overall scenery was beautiful. Transportation was also very convenient; it's only about half an hour to the city center, which is near Burigana. I would definitely stay here again next time."

"Loved that the staff were nice and helpful. breakfast was lovely and a good spread. The hotel was conveniently located and we could almost walk everywhere. Parking was quite close but I would recommend to drop off your luggage before driving to the parking as walking on cobblestone floors in the rain is definitely an experience of its own. Parking is expensive and not included in the hotel but well it’s in the city centre so I wouldn’t expect anything less. The hotel staff also helped us to store our luggage when we went out on our activities for the day. We stayed here twice! It was only lacking some amenities that I was used to like toothbrushes, slippers, bathrobes and shower caps but the rest were provided"

"The stay was pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and everything was clearly sign posted and cleverly planned out. We booked two rooms but one of them had a very strong lingering smell of body odour when we entered and remained during the stay which made us question the cleanliness. The gym facility was decent and the breakfast buffet was also a good range. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from the airport completely outdoors, so if the weather is nice, it is lovely!"

Our third-floor room offered a view of the colorful houses of Bryggen across the water, though the water itself was blocked by the fish market buildings. Perhaps higher floors would have a direct view of the water. The room was neither big nor too small, and came with a kettle, tea bags, and instant coffee. The shower space was a bit cramped, but the water pressure was decent. The service was great; they were very accommodating. We found the room a bit cold, so we called down for an extra duvet, which was delivered quickly. They also proactively offered to raise our room's maximum temperature setting to 23 degrees Celsius (from the previous 19.5 degrees). We were very comfortable for the rest of our three-day stay.

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.

Lantian_ccThe hotel is located in downtown Bergen, just a 10-minute walk from the Fish Market. My room was in a separate building from the reception. The room was very clean, but it lacked amenities like toothbrushes, cups, and a kettle. The coffee machine on the first floor was out of water, and I had to go to the building across the street to get coffee, which was inconvenient at night. The elevator is old-fashioned and frequently stopped on the eighth floor, so guests often had to take the stairs.

1️⃣ It's only a few minutes' walk to the bus/light rail station, making it very convenient to get to the city center, train station, and airport. Even with luggage, it's not a strenuous walk.
2️⃣ Although it's a bit far from the city center, the convenient transportation makes up for it. You can take the bus or walk. I highly recommend walking to the Bryggen area; it's practically a straight path. The scenery along the way is lovely, and it's safe, so a leisurely stroll isn't tiring at all.
3️⃣ There's a recreational area right downstairs from the hotel, perfect for a walk or relaxation. The main highlight is the breathtaking scenery, making it an excellent spot to enjoy the sunset.
4️⃣ You can get ice buckets from the bar. We went every day to get ice to enjoy drinks in our room.
5️⃣ There's a large park nearby with beautiful lawns and flowers.

Booked a corner suite, and the room was perfect for a family of three. The balcony was really comfortable, but the extra rollaway bed was a nightmare – felt like sleeping on a grill! The restaurant and lobby views were quite nice. There's also a highly recommended hiking trail to the waterfall right outside the hotel. Everything is conveniently located, like the safari bus stop and the train station.

The old hotel has a vintage feel and a tranquil atmosphere, with many details and historical artworks. It's conveniently located right next to the station. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, and you can enjoy the view and watch people go by from the window.

They got me the highest floor which is great, and special type room, love it!
Most of the things u need are provided except slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste.
I think most rooms can see the pier view.
The first night, some birds, maybe, or someone shooting fireworks at my window making loud noises and I can see some flash lights out the window. Scared die me.
Food: free breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast was great, dinner ok but love breakfast more.
Trip.com says the bottle water are free, but in fact they will be charged. I didn’t notice that and took one, before check out, just saw the pricing list(ｰ ｰ;)
Location: a bit tricky to find the ENTRANCE! When u see the building, TUR RIGHT! To the right u can find the real entrance( the front one is no longer in use).
very convenient, located at the heart of Bergen, the Bergen museum is next to the hotel. The fifth photo is very close to the hotel. A few minutes walk to the mountain tram station.
By the way, u can ask the front desk and get the key for accessing the roof top( third and fourth photo)

jerry727At a very central location. I was allowed to check-in earlier since the room was available which is much appreciated. Friendly staff. The room is more like an apartment and has a great view over the city. I booked a reasonable price for Bergen standards which was similar to what other hotels offered for a 8m^2 room, so i felt it's good value for money. It was very clean and wifi was fast. I would appreciate some coffee in the room since there is already a kitchen and everything you might need, although I do understand.
