"My second time in this hotel and never disappoints. Room is extra large, quiet and comfortable. Hotel is somewhat a 90's time tunnel but still evergreen , well maintained. Onsite car park is not free and quite costly, had to park somewhere nearby and walk towards it. Few eateries located opposite the hotel, more can be found further away but not within short walking distance."

We had a really pleasant stay at Neo+ Penang. Overall, everything was great and exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, making it a nice place to relax after a long day.
The hotel facilities were also good, especially the swimming pool area which was enjoyable for the family. The facilities were clean and in good condition. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided good service throughout our stay.
The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants and other places in Penang. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Everything was well organised, comfortable and worth the money. Definitely a recommended hotel for families, couples or anyone visiting Penang. Would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit!"

"Overall, our stay at this hotel was really pleasant and we had a great experience. However, there was one unfortunate incident that left us quite disappointed.
About half an hour after checking out, I realised that my baby’s shoes had been accidentally left behind in the hotel room. I immediately called the reception and asked if the cleaner or the relevant department could keep the shoes at the lobby, as I was already making a U-turn and was on my way back to collect them.
Unfortunately, I was informed that the cleaner could not find anything in the room. I am 100% certain that the shoes were left there, which made the situation quite disappointing.
I understand that mistakes can happen, and perhaps the shoes were misplaced or overlooked during the room cleaning. However, I do hope the hotel could improve its lost-and-found procedure and ensure that guests’ belongings are handled more carefully.
Other than this incident, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be good overall. It was just unfortunate that this happened right after check-out."

"The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with all three rooms facing the sea. Falling asleep to the sound of waves at night was a dream.
The kids absolutely loved having the pool and beach right downstairs – super convenient. There was also a large bird and fish pond with various small birds and fish, which the children adored.
Breakfast exceeded my expectations. If you're used to a Western-style breakfast, this one was perfect. They had freshly made Indian paratha, freshly cooked fish ball noodles, and eggs prepared fried or boiled. The drink selection was also extensive, offering local white coffee and milk tea. For fruit, there was watermelon, pineapple, papaya, and melon. Honestly, this breakfast was much more suitable for Chinese tastes than what I've had at all-inclusive hotels in Dubai and Turkey. Very satisfying! 👍
Across from the hotel, there's a Lebanese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and a FamilyMart convenience store. A bit further down, you'll find a market and hawker stalls. 👍
The only downsides were a few small ants in the room and a broken drain in one of the sinks. I hope the hotel can fix these issues."

"The room isn't huge, but it was perfect for two people. When I checked in, I asked for a sea-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel having a gym and a swimming pool is a huge plus! It's super convenient with a mall next door, and it was so easy to visit all the nearby attractions and try out local food spots – everything was about a 20-minute walk away. Getting to the airport takes about 30 minutes if there's no traffic. I highly recommend this place! There are water dispensers on every floor, which is great for refilling bottles. The bed isn't huge, but it's comfortable enough to sleep on. If I come back to Penang, I'd definitely choose to stay here again."

Although the location is a bit far from the city center, the overall value for money is high, and it is highly recommended. The scenery and service were all wonderful. 4four4The hotel is very new, spacious, and the facilities inside are also brand new. Every staff member is very polite. There's a large balcony with sunset views and an infinity sea view. The breakfast is also very rich, offering a variety of international buffet dishes. There's also an infinity pool where you can watch the sunset. One evening, we even opted for the buffet dinner at the hotel, which had a great selection and delicious food. It's just a 5-minute drive to Pantai Batu Ferringhi, where there are many different restaurants offering various cuisines, including beachfront dining, where you can enjoy fire shows at night. There's also a night market nearby for a stroll!

SyamimaisyahOverall, our stay at Park Royal was good and pleasant. The room was big, spacious, and very clean. We booked a Deluxe Sea Facing Room, but the sea view was not really visible. The beach was okay, but not suitable for swimming due to the jellyfish warning and unclear water. The haze also affected the view during our stay.
Breakfast was okay, but the dining area can get quite crowded and cramped during peak hours. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay!

Mijika LeeBeyond imagination good! It's not very close to George Town, about a 15-20 minute drive, but it was fine since we were self-driving. Parking space was very ample. You can use your credit card to tap for parking, and the fee will be waived. The hotel's facilities are very new and clean. The room was large, comfortable, and spotless. The front desk offers a complimentary drink daily, you can choose between coffee, black tea, or orange juice. However, there's no water provided in the room, but there are water dispensers in the hallway if you bring your own bottle.
The downside is the soundproofing is a bit poor. Some people nearby would sing morning prayers early in the morning, so light sleepers will definitely wake up. Also, the room cleaning was a bit haphazard and could be done better. Overall, highly recommended if you're self-driving! It would also be okay if you use Grab.

Guest UserCompatriots, I do not recommend this hotel. Either stay in George Town, or head directly to hotels in the main beach area further down. This hotel is in an inconvenient location, far from everything and not lively. There's a mart opposite, but crossing the road is terrifying! What's worse is that the entire hotel has no concept of service, or perhaps, all of Malaysia doesn't. Yet, the price is comparable to established five-star hotels in George Town. This hotel is incredibly stingy; bottled water isn't provided. You have to go to the hallway yourself to get their glass bottled water. The water flow is incredibly slow. After finishing the water on the first day, housekeeping doesn't refill it on the second. Both toilet paper and tissues in the bathroom are stingily rationed. Unlike back home where they are generously replenished. The so-called hotel beach is a dirty, messy area with no proper beach chairs or anything. This hotel is not suitable for people from our country! The lobby has an overwhelming, strong, unpleasant fragrance.

Environment: The hotel itself is great, with a gym and a courtyard with a pool. I stayed in the Garden Wing, which only has a rocky beach facing it. The sandy beach is on the Rasa Wing side. You can no longer walk directly along the beach to Batu Ferringhi Beach; you have to walk out and take a main road for a bit. The surrounding area feels a bit desolate; there are very few air-conditioned dining options. It's better to take a taxi when going out.
Service: The service was truly mediocre, even poor. There was a QR code at the reception desk for Chinese customer service. After I added it, I realized they only speak Chinese. I asked the customer service to help me inquire if my room had been cleaned and if my booked room type issue had been resolved. The WeChat customer service just told me to ask the front desk. I told him I had already asked the front desk, and he just told me to dial 0 for the front desk. In short, I couldn't get any answers, which was quite unsatisfactory. However, I was quite pleased with the anniversary gift.
Facilities: Thumbs up for the breakfast, it was excellent, truly superb.
