Convenient location and room is clean but the noise proofing in the room is really bad can literally hear people flushing their toilet at night Lift system not the best too with 3 lifts up the guest rooms but 2 was down in the peak period of the morning

This was my second stay at the hotel, and it was just as good as the first time—consistent service and a comfortable experience all around. This time, I checked out the gym and was pleasantly surprised! It’s well-equipped with free weights, a cable machine, treadmill, and more—great for anyone looking to squeeze in a workout during their stay. Will definitely come back again.

We have been here so many times, and always have great impression except this. The hotel is getting older, more busy, so much of the cleanliness is neglected. So much stain on the sofa & 2 parts of the carpet which we called to informed immediately after check-in, the aircon was down too, wonder if they service or clean, oil needed to be added to slowly work. Didnt allow to change room due to no vacancy for similar type we paid for, asked us to downgrade to another cheaper room which we werent keen, said will help us next day but didnt do anything. Obtained blanket to cover stain, carpet stains were still there as promised to deliver mats but didnt.

Absolutely amazing stay at The Best Homestay! The room was superb—exactly like the photos, if not better. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and the amenities were incredibly professional, making the whole experience feel truly premium. The location is perfect, with plenty of great food options just a short walk away. It’s an ideal place for families wanting to relax and enjoy their time in Johor Bahru. The facilities are complete and very family-friendly. Definitely coming back again! Highly recommended for anyone traveling with family to JB.

CLEANLINESS: Couldn't give 5 for cleanliness as the lobby seats and carpet in desperate cry for shampooing. But the room cleanliness deserve a 5. SERVICE: Was put in a worried state for awhile as they couldn't find my booking in the system and staff said they were full house. Showed the confirmation slip and staff had to speak to the senior. After being made to wait, was given a room.

Spent a night in Westin Dearu for celebrating anniversary. Hotel is clean and maintained 5 star standard. But there was an Iron man event happening next to the hotel. It was loud. Blasting music since 5am. We got interrupted during sleep. Other than that everything is great.

Love the remote location away from the regular tourist hotels located in the city centre. Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was impeccable, and it was definitely a comfortable stay. Many eateries and massage places nearby, including Aeon Mall. Midvalley is just a 15-minute drive away.

There was drizzling on and off at Desaru area. This affected our child sand play at the beach. When it was raining heavily, it took quite some time for the buggy to pick us from Westin hotel.

First time staying at Hyatt Place here at Paradigm mall. Like literally above the mall. Lobby on the G floor is right next to Uniqlo entrance of the mall. Hotel's carpark is shared with the mall on the 6th floor. Most of the amenities are located on the 7th floor where the front office is. There is also a fitness centre, On Seven bistro (buffet breakfast is here) and a swimming pool(currently under maintenance till 1st june). Room was really clean as I stepped into it. Spacious too with a soft bed on the side. Equipped with a smart TV for casting if you need. Loved the toilet and the toiletries provided. Quality I would say. Just too bad the shower is without a rain shower head which would made it perfect. View was fantastic overlooking the main road the rest of the city. We were staying on the 15th floor. Location needlessly to say, fantastic as well. Right above Paradigm Mall. With all kinds of activities that the mall provides, you do not even need to travel away from there. Here being close vicinity to sutera area where night life of food and entertainment is available. Just a short 10min car ride. Last but least, check-in and out for really smooth. The reception was absolutely polite and all smiles when greeting us. Loved the service provided by them. Kudos to them.
