My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. The experience started smoothly even before check-in. We had arrived in Malé late the night before, and the Hard Rock team contacted and coordinated directly with the hotel we were staying at, making our transfer to the resort very easy and stress-free. All of the staff we met were friendly, polite, and welcoming. As an Accor Diamond member, I had originally considered staying at the Pullman or Sofitel, but after researching the different resorts, we felt that Hard Rock offered the experience that suited us best—and we were very happy with that decision. One of the biggest surprises was just how much there was to do. The resort offered many complimentary activities, entertainment, and shows. We first met one of the instructors, Pensi, during another dinner/show, and because she was so friendly and enthusiastic, we decided to join her hammock/silks class. It ended up being a lot of fun. She also performed in her own show the following day, which was amazing and became one of the highlights of our stay. My wife and I are not really into water sports, but we decided to try kayaking and were very glad we did. It gave us some beautiful views of the resort and surrounding water, as well as some great photos. Cycling between the connected islands was another simple activity that turned out to be surprisingly memorable and gave us some amazing photo opportunities along the way. Breakfast had a huge selection and everything we tried tasted great. We also ordered in-room dining, which was very easy through the resort's dedicated app. Getting around was simple as well. We could book a buggy through the app or use the bicycles that were available around the island. We stayed in a Platinum Overwater Pool Villa, and the room was clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. We could watch the sunrise from our private pool and also step directly from the villa into the ocean below. It was exactly the kind of Maldives experience we had imagined. We came expecting beautiful scenery, clear water, and amazing photos and videos, and Hard Rock certainly delivered all of that. What we did not expect was how much the activities, recreation, entertainment, and shows would add to the experience. They made the stay much more enjoyable and memorable than simply staying at a beautiful resort. We also appreciated seeing the resort manager attend Pensi's show and personally speak with guests. It gave us the impression that the management team genuinely makes an effort to engage with guests, listen to feedback, and make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives gave us everything we had hoped for from our Maldives trip, plus much more than we expected. We would be very happy to stay again.

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

In short: Highly recommend!!!!!!! Their all-inclusive package is REAL! You can spend a week here without spending a penny while enjoying a lot of free activities. You can book tennis and pickleball court, yoga sessions, fitness classes and other workshops FOR FREE. Believe me, your schedule will be filled up very soon. I love their buggy service that maximises your overall experience and comfort. All staff here are well-trained, polite, friendly and welcoming. One little hiccup — our experience will be highly elevated if their app were more user-friendly. It took us around 2 days to understand how it works.

Finally done with work, I can now write a review about the Maldives. I feel like the hotel I picked this time was exceptionally good. The hotel offers complimentary round-trip speedboat transfers. Our flight arrived around 10:00 AM, and while the normal check-in time in the Maldives is 2:00 PM, we arrived at the hotel around 11:00 AM and they still arranged a room for us immediately, so we could rest without waiting at the front desk. The front desk had a lovely lady who spoke Chinese, and she was incredibly polite and friendly. The only minor drawback was that I couldn't see anything while snorkeling here, which might also be due to my skill level. There are three islands connected, with a total of three hotels and over a dozen restaurants. I originally thought I wouldn't find much good food in the Maldives, but the hotel's food was surprisingly delicious. We chose the half-board option. For dinner, you could pick any restaurant and choose three dishes. All the staff were very friendly. On our last day, our flight was at 9:00 PM, and while normal check-out is at noon, they allowed us to stay until 5:30 PM before transferring us, which was perfect for heading to the airport. The most touching part was that one of our travel companions had a birthday, and while we were out, the hotel secretly put a cake and wine in our room. It was truly very touching and an unexpected surprise. This trip to the Maldives was incredibly surprising and delightful; I had a wonderful time!

A Sanctuary for Peace What I appreciated most was how the resort caters to both physical and spiritual well-being. They have a beautifully maintained mosque on the island, which is very serene, clean and well-kept. It added a layer of calm and convenience that made the stay even more meaningful And not to forget, for your food of mind, they also have a mini library so that we can lay down through out the stay accompanied by the book of our choice. It can be borrowed & later returned via the reception. Unforgettable Highlights Snorkeling from the Villa: One of the best parts of the stay was being able to jump straight into the crystal clear water for snorkeling right under my room. The marine life is vibrant and right at your doorstep. Dolphins at Breakfast: Imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching dolphins play in the distance. We were lucky enough to spot them during breakfast, which was a magical way to start the day. Stargazing: During serene night, either near the beach or while you slowly brisk walking back to your room, it’s surely the perfect place to just enjoy the Maldivian night sky with the beautiful shining stars smiling at you. The Staff: The service here is world-class. Every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and dedicated to making your stay perfect. They really go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The Perfect Cure for Burnout The atmosphere at Grand Park Kodhipparu is incredibly quiet and private. It is the perfect place to sit with a book, listen to the waves, and clear your mind. I left the island feeling like a new person, with a renewed spirit and a calm heart. Final Verdict: A 10/10 experience. Whether you are seeking luxury or a deep mental reset, this is the place to be. We cannot recommend it enough! 😘

We were completely satisfied with our vacation! The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition. It's an excellent hotel for its price-quality ratio. It's only a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé. We booked through Trip.com and were met individually. The best standard rooms are 175-200, facing the best beach with a house reef. More expensive room categories are in less swimmable locations. Housekeeping twice a day. The food is varied, with something new for lunch and dinner every day – fish, chicken, seafood day, lamb day. The all-inclusive cocktails are a bit watered down and the selection is limited, but you can't say anything was missing. The corals on the house reef are a bit tired, but there are many fish, small sharks, and it's beautiful overall; we swam every day and never got bored. On the opposite side from the main beach is the beautiful Bandos Rock reef – there's never anyone there, and there seemed to be more marine life. Excursions need to be booked well in advance, several days ahead – there's swimming with manta rays, sharks, fishing, and dolphins – there likely won't be spots if you try to book the day before. There's a sufficient amount of Russian-speaking staff, including many great guys from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

So relaxing this trip ! Cannot wait to go Maldives again . Snorkelling is the best water activities in here . Saw lots of sharks,fish, sting Ray ,few turtle near by the water villa .every thing you can eat , drink . No extra fee. Very high CP value this hotel .highly recommended to some who is the first time and save money.Hotel arranged fishing and snorkelling for every customer.

The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained. The staff are very friendly and proactively greet guests. However, the guy who checked us out was a bit aloof and didn't smile at all. What's truly commendable is that after we left the hotel by speedboat, we realized we had left an item behind. The staff immediately turned around and went back to the hotel to retrieve it for us. Their professionalism and dedication really deserve praise.

Pro - We had a fantastic stay at OBLU XPERIENCE. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The food was excellent, offering a good variety of dishes each day, and the quality was consistently high. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great value resort that we would happily recommend to family and friends. Also special mentions to Kids Club. The facilities were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained throughout the day. The staff were friendly, caring, and genuinely attentive, making the children feel welcome and safe. Our kids especially enjoyed the games, creative activities, and the fun atmosphere. It was reassuring to know they were having such a great time while we relaxed and enjoyed the resort. The Kids Club is well-equipped for different age groups and offers a good balance of play, learning, and social interaction. A big thank you to the Kids Club team for their enthusiasm and dedication. They helped make our family holiday even more memorable. We would highly recommend the Kids Club to families visiting OBLU Maldives. Cons - While we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, one disappointing experience was being prohibited from entering the water directly from our water villa at 7:00 a.m. The sea was calm and the tide was low, making the conditions safe. One of the main reasons for booking a water villa is the freedom to access the ocean at any time, so this restriction was frustrating and took away from the experience.

The room was new. The bed was comfortable. Although there was no pool, it wasn't really needed. It only cost a little over 10,000 RMB per person for five nights during this season. There were many cute fish swimming under the water villas at night. However, sea turtles and small sharks were more common in the snorkeling area. I loved the lighthouse restaurant. The service was warm and welcoming. The butlers, especially the Chinese-speaking one, were very responsible and patient. Most importantly, it's only a speedboat ride away, which is really convenient. However, if you're traveling with children, you should visit the water sports center to find more activities. It's a great place to relax, drink coffee, and play in the water. You need to be able to calm down to truly appreciate the beauty of the Maldives. During our stay, it was mostly cloudy with sunny days and no rain. We were really lucky. The hotel's service and food quality left a deep impression on me. I think I'll definitely come back again. Once you've been to the Maldives, you'll want to come back countless times.
