"I traveled to Mongolia during Golden Week, and I think staying at this hotel was the best decision I made on the trip.
I booked it based on the photos and reviews, but when I actually visited, it was an even more magnificent hotel nestled amidst breathtaking nature than the pictures suggested. The restaurant serves traditional Mongolian cuisine, and everything was exquisite—even better than the food I ate in the city.
The restaurant staff member, Sefna, speaks excellent Japanese and is meticulous and efficient in her work. She is incredibly attentive to guests and overflowing with hospitality. After dinner, I was able to relax while watching the nomadic livestock move from hill to hill through the large windows, and observing the beauty of the light that changes with the time of day.
There are nomadic houses around the hotel, and during evening or early morning walks, you can encounter breeds of sheepdogs not seen in Japan, as well as adorable lambs, baby goats, and calves. It was a refreshing experience to see firsthand how the nomads manage their animals.
The hotel owner was always smiling, listened calmly to our requests, and was very flexible in accommodating them. Regarding Sehuna, who is very active in the restaurant, he kindly allowed him to accompany us as our tour guide, saying, ”Only during times when there are fewer customers.”
Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy a full day of Terelj tour guided by Sehuna.
Thank you so much, owner and Sehuna!"
