"Booked this during the rainy season for just over 300 [currency unit], which is excellent value for money. I was very happy with the room assignment; high floor with a great view, and even though it's street-facing, it wasn't noisy. The facilities were excellent. The area nearby is a well-established residential neighborhood, not overly touristy, which is perfect for experiencing local life."

"Just a five-minute walk to Kyoto Station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks at certain times, which is a thoughtful touch. There's a popular sukiyaki restaurant right next door in the alley. The hotel staff are very kind and friendly, making for an overall comfortable and satisfying stay."

"This hotel has many advantages. First and foremost, the service attitude is absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly proactive and helpful during check-in and whenever we needed assistance. The cleanliness was excellent. We stayed for three days, and while they didn't do a full clean every day, someone came by daily to empty the trash, replace towels, and do a quick tidy of the bathroom. Our travel schedule was so tight that we didn't have time to enjoy the public areas, but the design looked very impressive. The biggest surprise about the hotel was its surroundings – there were so many beautiful cherry blossoms nearby! There's a small park right next door with a few trees in stunning full bloom. A little further back is the Shimogamo River area, with more beautiful cherry blossoms lining both banks, and very few people. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. If I had to mention a drawback, while Jujo Station offers convenient transportation, there aren't many dining options directly around it. There's a Lawson and two restaurants opposite the hotel, but for more choices, you'll need to walk about 5 minutes or so. However, it's precisely because it's not in the absolute city center that you can enjoy such a comfortable space. Overall, it offers great value for money!"

"The room is on the smaller side, but the bed is incredibly comfortable. The breakfast offers a great variety, and the lobby lounge area is very cozy. Plus, there's a hot spring on B1 which, though not huge, is wonderfully relaxing. The location is super convenient for getting around, with easy access to transport and plenty of dining options nearby."

"Facilities: The amenities are quite comprehensive. However, because it's very close to the train station, the soundproofing isn't great, and you can hear the train. This might be an issue for light sleepers. Cleanliness: Clean. Towels and bath towels were replaced daily. Environment: Very close to Kyoto Station. You just turn right after exiting the central gate, and it's less than 100 meters away. Very convenient for transportation. Service: The front desk service was excellent. The breakfast selection wasn't very wide."

"very close to a bus station with a family mart right across the street, convenient location to city center, could be better with more washing machine and dryer units but front desk assisted well with clearing unclaimed laundry, very cozy room and pretty deco, free drinks in basement with a cafe to purchase drinks and food"

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was well-furnished, modern and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We like that there is a communal bath in the hotel. The room feels cozy and has a spacious bathroom which was a pleasant addition. We will be recommending this hotel and will make a return in future! (P.S. There’s a curry rice shop 1-2mins walk away from the hotel towards Kyoto station, that is absolutely delicious and affordable and is on our mind till this day!)"

"The hotel is very close to the Kamo River, and it's conveniently located on a main road, making it easy to get to the bustling commercial area. The facilities are relatively new and pleasant to look at. However, the dinner for the hotel's 'one night, two meals' plan was too small; we had to order extra dishes to feel full! Overall, we were quite satisfied!"
