Dormy Inn Mito
4.6/580 Reviews
It takes less than 10 minutes to walk on a gentle slope from the north exit of Mito Station. To be honest, walking with luggage is a troublesome distance. Even more troublesome when it rains. When coming from Tokyo, there is a bus movement because it is close to don Pisha when it gets off at Minamimachi nichome of the high-speed bus bound for Mito station (via akatsuka). There is a charge for parking, and there are many one-way streets in the back streets nearby, so it may not be suitable for car movement. There is a small supermarket and convenience store across the road, so I can do something for the time being. The twin room facing the front street has no bathtub and only shower booth. It's okay because I go to the public bath anyway, but it's a pity that there are traces of detergent dripping and drying in the mirror 2 of the washbasin and shower booth. Dust was piled up on and behind the TV, and the cleaning finish may be sweet. The refrigerator and electric kettle are under the wash basin instead of the room. Dormy, who stayed so far, had a coffee machine on the flow line from the reception to the elevator, but I overlooked it because it is not on the flow line but in a small room that separates the breakfast venue. Chi. The large communal bath on the 10th floor is made of Hiro 々. The open-air bath of the men's bath is small and hotter than the indoor bath. I take a bath from 3 o'clock, but it seems that I don't change the mat in the sauna, so if you are concerned, it is better to go early. Breakfast has Kenchin soba and anko porridge, and it may be Ibaraki. Overall, there may be a lot of Japanese food. For those who want to enjoy baths and breakfast instead of going to bed at the hotel, it's worth choosing, even if it's a little far from the station or a little bullish price setting.
MITO SANNOMARU HOTEL

I heard from locals that it was a good hotel with goods. The customer service is also firm. But it is never ”a elegant response”, but it is very comfortable with the response of the feeling that it is ”a little to the regular and responds comfortably” though there is a courtesy but warm. I, my friends, my friends, have been around 10 nights, but I have never felt dissatisfied with each time. Rather than being well educated, you will be impressed by the high consciousness of the person who works or the motivation. The location is great and it is a hotel that I want to survive as it is.
Hotel Terrace the Garden Mito

The absolute best thing about this hotel is the location. It's literally a 45 second walk from the Mito train station. The surrounding area has a ton of restaurants and convenience stores so food availability will never be a problem. The staff here is amazing and speak English very well to help out foreign travelers. I don't know why, but this is the dustiest hotel room I have ever stayed in on my 40 years of life on this planet. Please see the photos. I put my suitcase on the bed to unpack, and when I was I removed my suitcase and it was covered in dust. After the room cleaning was done, there is a layer of dust on many of the high touch areas. I just didn't understand how it could be so dusty. The ac in the room didn't work either. The thermostat shows it could cool the room down to 20C but it never got close. The coldest the room actually got was maybe 23 or 24C

You can choose whether the front desk is self-service or manned. The bath has a completely secure entrance where you can receive the key at the front desk, the locker has a key, there are 3 places to wash your body, and although there is no indoor bath, there is a sauna (Self-Low Ryu) and 1 open-air bath, so the temperature is comfortable and you can relax. . The room is a twin. The bed is big. The space between the bed and bed was spacious, and the furniture was in calm colors, making it look like a foreign room. There were convenience stores in the surrounding area, so I thought the surrounding environment was good.
OARAI HOTEL

I admired the hotel webpage before departure, and I was infinitely confused, but when I arrived at the scene, the reception hall was okay. The corridor carpet leading to the room was old and the walls were mottled. It was okay to enter the room. After sleeping, the whole room was covered with cotton wool and feathers. Is the quilt too old? Allergy children have been sneezing! There are many cabinets in the room, but there are too many partitions and the space is too small to put any items. I really don't understand the design concept at that time. The food in the restaurant was fresh and fresh, but the children were so many and crying (crying and screaming filled the restaurant I really wanted to cry! But I sympathized with their parents) we stayed there for three days and two nights and the food was exactly the same! I ate half a plate for dinner the next day, and did not go to breakfast on the third morning (although I lost a lot, but my stomach and heart completely refused) and the place to soak was very old. After returning home, I received the bill: we lived in a double room for four people (because there is no quadruple room) for three days and two nights, which is NT$58,670, which is nearly NT$10,00 more expensive than our three days and two nights in Okinawa, Hoshino!

I checked in on October 14th, but accidentally booked November 14th. Since I booked on that day, I should have paid extra after I arrived at the hotel, but the store manager knew that I had made a mistake and not only did he not ask me to pay extra, he also continued to use the November 14th reservation. The trust between people is really great! Thank them!
Hotel Terrace The Square Hitachi

The decoration such as the entrance, the lobby is beautiful. The room is large but the chairs feel old. The cleaning was polite. The location is good and the view from the room is good. The front desk seemed to be not very accustomed to it, but there was no problem. However, I felt that the parking lot was not narrow and well maintained. The breakfast restaurant was also short of staff, and it was a little disappointing that it was not in time to replenish and clean up. (The next day of the stay was fine! I forgot to take the picture)

It's a little far from Tsuchiura Station, but it's enough to walk. The room was in good condition, but usually if you go to another hotel, there is a water bottle and other service. Still, I was able to relax and there was a skiya chain store right in front of the hotel, so I was able to solve the meal problem cheaply. Hotel meals can be received for about 1000 yen if you book in advance. Breakfast was good too. Unfortunately, there is no bath in the hotel facilities, so you have to finish the shower inside the room.

I stayed with my child during the summer vacation. Check-in at the front desk was also smooth. The private open-air bath was a great reward. There is also a 2-hour frame. I entered and exchanged with my daughter, and I lay in a chair and the wind came in comfortably and fell asleep. The futon was also fluffy. It was a pity that the dressing area was small and hot in the large communal bath.
JR-EAST HOTEL METS MITO

I went for a business trip for 2 weeks and the location and service was very good for a hotel very close to the train station. Breakfast was a ticket to a place in the station, it could looks a litter strange but offered a unique opportunity to try more place on the way for breakfast. Clean and quite!!
