"I was really looking forward to this trip, but when I went to check in, I was told they were overbooked and would upgrade us. I had originally booked a sea view room, but the upgrade was to a villa area very close to the Dead Sea, with no sea view from the room. The Dead Sea is beautiful, and the hotel staff were very proactive in helping to resolve the issue, eventually giving us a 40% discount on the buffet. However, the hotel buffet doesn't include drinks, and even their own ice cream costs extra. Overall, it was just okay, a bit disappointing."

"Security checks are required for both vehicles and luggage upon check-in. There's also a 100 JOD (approximately 1000 RMB) credit card deposit that's only refunded 10 days after check-out. They don't provide any email confirmation or proof of a successful room inspection after check-out; everything relies on their word. Guests are completely passive in this process.
On the upside, you can watch the Dead Sea sunset from the hotel and also float in it.
The breakfast buffet is just so-so. For a five-star hotel, this stay felt incredibly stifling.
The overall experience was quite poor."
