Staff is super friendly and helpful, making a little bit of conversation and a laugh at every encounter.
There was a strike from the metro and bus services on the day we were supposed to leave and they notified us early so that we could keep that in mind on our route towards the train station. Even offering to bring us if neccesairy.
Room was super clean, breakfast is very complete for 10€ extra. All-in-all a great stay.
They have a very nice outdoor garden/lounge area where you can buy a drink and sit peacefully too.
Thanks for the great stay!

The service was great! I almost got my bag stolen at the subway station, so finding some peace of mind during check-in at the hotel was a relief. The hotel just opened less than a month ago, so it's very new and has a sophisticated, modern design. The only thing was that the bedsheets seemed to have a slightly odd smell.

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. It was truly wonderful! First, the service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm and polite. We arrived at 9:00 AM, and the front desk thoughtfully prepared coffee and refreshments for us. They also stored our luggage for free while we went out to explore the area. When we arrived, our luggage was already in our room. The front desk escorted us to our room and provided a detailed overview of the amenities, including complimentary mineral water and slippers. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It's only about an 8-minute walk from the main train station, and there are plenty of delicious restaurants downstairs. It's worthy of the 9.5 rating on ***********, and I even got a better deal on Ctrip. I was very, very satisfied.

The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and quite spacious for Rome. The breakfast was decent, with all the essentials. The location was also good, close to the metro and Termini Station. It was very convenient to get to the Vatican and the Colosseum directly by metro. The area around the station wasn't chaotic; I occasionally saw a homeless person, but it didn't affect pedestrians. There's also Venchi chocolate at Termini Station, and their gelato is delicious.

First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to a major subway station, making it very convenient for late-arriving guests. The front desk is open 24 hours. There are a few good restaurants right outside. However, the room I was assigned was further inside, so there was no window view. The price was quite reasonable, and overall, I'd say it was a good experience.

Fantastic hotel, perfect location (very close to the trams, but not close enough to hear them) it was quiet nights, the aircon worked great and we really loved the classical feeling of the room. The staff spoke good English and where very helpful, I called prior to arriving as I read online about driving permits in Rome and the hotel staff where able to advise me.
For the price I would choose this hotel again in the future.

Very close to Termini and an easy walk. Very well lit with simple walkways and adequate for accessibility. The room was clean, with information cards, towels, robes and a simple safe for valuables. There is breakfast available in the dining hall and luggage storage should you chose to walk about Rome before or after your stay. GOD FORBID, you need to use a bathroom on the ground level, however. My stay was perfectly fine until I needed to toilet before our departure. When I asked if there was another bathroom for use, I was told that I could use the train station bathroom
(€1,50) I must have just been another traveler off the street to the staff looking for a sneaky free toilet use standing there with my luggage. After the staff recognized the mistake they wanted to usher me to another bathroom. I opted to pay the €1,50 than to be insulted further. “Good luck in Europe” is the hospitality you can expect in Rome.
Positive experience. I would have preferred a less firm mattress, but overall it was a comfortable stay. The only negative was finding the mini-fridge turned off. I called the front desk and they said they'd send someone to the room to check, but no one came. The fridge finally worked because I moved the cabinet and checked to see if it was plugged in, but the problem was the fridge's power supply, which may need to be checked...
Hotel lobby and room were very clean. Breakfast was good with varieties, but still wish to have more choices in food. Room was well maintained, very comfortable, and modernized. Our group of friends did enjoy the complimentary cocktail drink and the lounge area for a small gathering. Hotel is very convienient to main streets and safe.

The decor is very stylish, the place is easy to find, and both parking and transportation are very convenient – truly commendable. The overall experience was great. Check-in was very professional, and the gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally kind. There's a restaurant right next door that, to my surprise, even offered a Chinese menu. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for Europe. It's true that the cost of living in Italy is lower than in France and Switzerland.

DdisasterEXEHotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house.
I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.
GGuest UserGood location. I like to walk, so I was able to walk to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Breakfast was also good. However, the shower room is very small.
בבלVery clean, good location, didnt leave drinking water for wellcome but you could buy from the minibar 2.5 euro per small bottle. We asked for Iron and ironing board and they are not providing to consumers. You can pay per item for ironing services and wait 1.5 hours to get it ironed.
GGuest UserThe hotel is situated on a lively square. It is clean, appears newly renovated (in the rooms) and well maintained, with a reasonably attractive aesthetic. The accommodation is plain and simple: a bit student dorm-like with small rooms, but the room is pleasant, and clean, and the aircon actually works (unlike most in Italy). The lobby is staffed 24 hours a day (which is a plus), and the staff are helpful. The downsides are the small room size (oddly did not bother me) and the thin cheap doors. I chose to stay here rather than an airport hotel during a transit, and found the experience quite fun, being able to walk around Rome for a few hours overnight. ONE PROBLEM I would mention is that they are currently renovating the top 2 floors of the hotel (4 storeys) ... and it makes a lot of noise in the morning if you are trying to sleep after 8am. If you get out of the room before 8am, it probably won't bother you too much ... but if you like staying up late, I would find somewhere else to stay. Also, the hotel should warn guests of the problem, and they do not.

GGuest UserWe have booked for one night and yes, we did call them that we'll be arriving very earlier, like midnight to 1 am and asked if we can just stay in the lounge because there's also a 24-hour desk. We're probably gonna stay at least 3-4hrs tops cause we're planning to see Rome very earlier to get decent pictures before tourists arrive. They told us yes, and that we can also do earlier check-in like 1-2pm if the room is ready. We have arrived and the receptionist was very rude right from the start. There's also one foreigner before us who clearly doesn't speak Italian. The receptionist was all over the place, commenting about how come people want to book earlier, mind you we understand everything cause we also know how to speak Italian. But when it was our turn and told him everything, he basically turned us away and that we cannot stay there. It's fine, no problem, but we did asked if we could just stay a little bit to find another hotel to stay for the night, a little 10 mins won't hurt anybody but no, he did tell us to go outside and literally throw us away, mind you we're 2 girls outside of Rome at 1-2am in the morning, the least you can do is let us stay inside until we get another place to stay. After 10mins outside with no hotel to book and 3 men we're coming towards us with a bag that you can literally tell they stole, we forced ourselves back at the hotel cause we're very scared and YES, THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD US NO AGAIN, even though we told him that there are 3 men 5 ft away from us. He told us that his work is also dangerous because the door was broken, which is by the way not our fault. We didn't have a choice but to book for the night that costs us 170 euros, from 1am-11am! After we paid and got our key-door, it's like nothing happened, he's suddenly very accommodating, very talkative like he didn't throw us away 10 min ago.
This was the worst 3-star hotel I've ever been to, everything is perfect apart from that old receptionist. Never again!
GGuest UserThe hotel is a former monastery and revamped. Its garden is nice and the breakfast can be served there. The restaurant at basement is a surprise. The tables are placed to give high privacy. Recommend to have a dinner in this restaurant.
DDilysLHad a great 2 nights’ stay, room’s clean & neat, spacious w/ necessary amenity, our room can enjoyed site of a museum next to the hotel. Location’s convenient with 10 minutes’ walk to main train station. Pietro, the front desk officer was friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserI have stayed here many times and have been able to observe a decline.
The walls in our room where very dirty and the buffet breakfast was really quite poor with a limited selection. I found the younger staff members at check in and check out the be very unprofessional and very dissmissive. I did find one of the staff members at reception to be very professional Angelo.
JJammers Travel & ToursPerfectly positioned just a short 100 meters from Roma Termini station, the hotel offers unbeatable convenience for both train travelers and those exploring Rome. Multiple metro lines, buses, and direct airport trains are within easy reach. You can drop your bags and head out immediately to the city's iconic sights. UNA Deco Roma delivers a warm, attentive atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated in elegant Art-Deco style, complete with a comfy bed, desk, air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. While the beds and overall comfort were a highlight, I did notice some minor maintenance issues—like erratic bathroom supply replenishment and average sound insulation in a few rooms. Still, these were manageable and didn't detract from the overall pleasant experience.
