The hotel is incredibly close to the train station, less than a 5-minute walk away. As a local chain hotel, everything was pretty standard and met expectations. Despite its proximity to the train station, the presence of security guards at the entrance meant I never felt unsafe. Breakfast options were somewhat limited, but sufficient to fill me up. It's a great choice for travelers using the train, and I would definitely choose it again on my next trip to Rome.

This was my second time staying at the Cross hotel. The hotel is situated in a good location, right next door to the ruins of the old aqueducts, and is near the Colosseum in the old part of the town. The hotel rooms were tidy and clean both times I stayed there, and I was pleased with the daily change of towels! Breakfast was good also. I’ll definitely choose this hotel during my next stay in Rome!

Hotel Impero Rome location is the main reason why I chose this hotel. I booked a 17m room and it was on the forth floor, it came with a small balcony that opens up to a lovely view.
The hotel is clean and classical but the furnishing is old and the air can be a little stale or too much fragrance after the cleaning service. There are rooms slippers and basic amenities provided too.
Receptionist and staff is generally nice and luggage can be stored after a no late check out policy. Many eateries and a mini super market is on the same street so it’s convenient to get food and drinks.
The location is fine. There's a bus stop right in front that connects to a metro station going straight to Rome’s city center. The place is clean and quiet.
Some staff are friendly and helpful. Others seem like they don’t want to be there. No greeting, no eye contact—just a sense of disinterest. Cleaning staff stared at us like we were in their way. No “hello,” just pressure to leave so they could do their job. It might be a cultural thing, but it felt cold.
You can rent a water kettle for €15, and you’ll get the money back if it’s returned in good condition. But even that feels like a trust issue with guests. For hot water, a deposit system like that seems excessive.
The price matches the service and accommodation. It’s not great, not bad—just okay. Don't expect much more than the basics.

The single room was absolutely stunning and offered incredible value for money. Its location, just a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini, is absolutely superb. Most importantly, all the room facilities were impeccable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The room itself was spotlessly clean, tidy, and quiet. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants and eateries right downstairs.

Very nice hotel, location is also nice and a lot of pizza restaurants and halal food around, 5 minutes walking from the Termini train station. Not the perfect time to go out from 11 pm
Only the room partition walls wasn’t well insulated , you can hear from other room , was stayed 104 , second day all night was hearing noice probably from air conditioning fixed on out walls . The body wash and shampoo smells bit make you uncomfortable , I think you’ll get more complaints about it if not attention.. rest everything was great , stuff absolutely friendly, it worth every penny what you spend , highly recommended
This hotel is simply a treasure on the journey! Hidden on the hill, sitting on the beautiful scenery, like a quiet paradise isolated from the world. The room design is super distinctive, the rich European manor style cleverly integrates the simple and elegant Oriental elements, the all-wood furniture is simple and atmospheric, the hygiene is spotless, and the living is super comfortable!
The dining experience is also impeccable! In addition to exquisite ready-made pastries, breakfast can also be customized for exclusive meals, chefs make on-site, fresh and delicious; dinner can be booked in advance, the price is conscience, the price is full! The most surprising thing is that there is a group of cute cats in the yard, walking leisurely, and they will gather obediently to take out food. They are full of cuteness, and they are simply a paradise for cat lovers! I highly recommend self-driving friends to come here, and they will definitely reap an unforgettable and pleasant journey!

Very Good
MMaria MDWe stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either.
The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it.
The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.
DdisasterEXEHotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house.
I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.
בבלVery clean, good location, didnt leave drinking water for wellcome but you could buy from the minibar 2.5 euro per small bottle. We asked for Iron and ironing board and they are not providing to consumers. You can pay per item for ironing services and wait 1.5 hours to get it ironed.
GGuest UserThe hotel is situated on a lively square. It is clean, appears newly renovated (in the rooms) and well maintained, with a reasonably attractive aesthetic. The accommodation is plain and simple: a bit student dorm-like with small rooms, but the room is pleasant, and clean, and the aircon actually works (unlike most in Italy). The lobby is staffed 24 hours a day (which is a plus), and the staff are helpful. The downsides are the small room size (oddly did not bother me) and the thin cheap doors. I chose to stay here rather than an airport hotel during a transit, and found the experience quite fun, being able to walk around Rome for a few hours overnight. ONE PROBLEM I would mention is that they are currently renovating the top 2 floors of the hotel (4 storeys) ... and it makes a lot of noise in the morning if you are trying to sleep after 8am. If you get out of the room before 8am, it probably won't bother you too much ... but if you like staying up late, I would find somewhere else to stay. Also, the hotel should warn guests of the problem, and they do not.
WWILSON HO CHANG WOONFront Desk service is sub-par and lacking in general knowledge to guests. Examples.
1. Hop On Hop Off booking from front desk
Was told that pick-up and drop-off will be at Station A opposite the hotel. But end of the tour, we were dropped off at Station B and was told there's no bus going to Station A. We have to find our own way back due to unfriendly bus staff.
2. Restaurant Recommendation
Was given wrong direction by FO staff and have to walk back to hotel again to reconfirm direction.
3. Airport Transfer to FCO T3
Booked 1 day in advance thru FO, but this morning when we went down to FO for check-out, there's no record ? Even though we were given a print out booking form from FO yesterday.
Disappointed 1st hotel stay in ROME. However, hotel location is conveniently located near to Rome Termini.
GGuest UserDon't be fooled by the score. The service was average, no real like or dislike to it. Getting to the hotel was easy as its around the corner and getting to the room was no problem either, clealiness was as expected, however the walls were fairly thin, you could hear next door fairly easily. The thing I really disliked though was the room was not the image that I thought I was paying for, I thought I paid for a nice looking red room, it looked a hell of a lot better than the actual boring green, slightly more modern than 90s style bedroom that I actually received. I planned to propose to my fiancé in Rome and the room that I thought I paid for was suppose to be the cherry on top as the last main surprise detail of our trip (the room was actually the final nail in the coffin after a complicated day), I saw it earlier in the day and I'm glad I didn't ask the question that day because coming back to that room would have been such a really disappointing time - I proposed in Porto instead and that experience was far better than expected
GGuest UserThe view is the best. In particular, the executive sea view seems to be the best in Fira Village.
However, there is no soundproofing, so you can hear everyone drinking and screaming at dawn.
Pick-up service is good (but expensive at 50 euros)
DDilysLHad a great 2 nights’ stay, room’s clean & neat, spacious w/ necessary amenity, our room can enjoyed site of a museum next to the hotel. Location’s convenient with 10 minutes’ walk to main train station. Pietro, the front desk officer was friendly and helpful.
