"Hotel is a bit run down. Looks like a casino hotel, as the 1st floor has fountains, pinball machine and football machines. Carpet and door lock are a bit dirty and spoiled. Heater in the room were faulty. Have to ask the receptionist to switch off the heater, else it will be super hot."

"My English isn't great, but the male manager at the front desk spoke the clearest English I heard on this trip! His pace wasn't too fast either, and he was very enthusiastic and friendly, even cracking a few jokes. He really brightened my day. The triple room was also very large and spacious, and came with slippers. However, the hotel's breakfast box was a bit disappointing. It was just pre-packaged snacks and such, very basic. For those catching an early flight who won't have time to eat breakfast at the hotel, I'd suggest not booking a room with breakfast included. It's not worth the price; you're better off getting something at the airport."

"This hotel has a long history. I booked a single room but got a double room instead. Although it didn't face the street, it had a window opening onto an inner courtyard. The rooftop restaurant has a great ambiance, and breakfast there is particularly enjoyable. It's not far from Termini train station, and you can even walk to the Colosseum."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The room was reasonably clean upon arrival, but the quality of housekeeping declined quickly. A lotion stain I accidentally left on the shower floor was never cleaned, and instead of actually scrubbing the area, housekeeping simply placed a mat over it—as if to hide it. Initially, the room came stocked with two sets of towels, but after the first day, only one of each was replaced. While the booking was for one person, maintaining the original quantity would have shown a bit more care and consistency. There were several small inconveniences that added up. For example, the room phone had no directory, so I had no idea how to contact the front desk or reach any services. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days, which turned out to be because the previous guest had asked for it to be turned off, and it was never reset. It took me that long to realize I had to ask the concierge to enable it again. In a properly managed hotel, the AC should be reset and ready for the next guest without needing to make a request. The continental breakfast was another letdown. The scrambled eggs were dry, lumpy, and had a strange grey tint. The bacon and sausages were cold, and orange juice was served in plastic cups. There was very little fresh fruit, and to top it off, they had a random speaker on the floor playing radio ads during breakfast—a strange and unpleasant ambiance for a morning meal. I’m glad I didn’t pay for breakfast for my entire stay, because it definitely wasn’t worth it. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I’ve encountered in any hotel. It disconnected constantly and, when connected, barely reached speeds of 5 Mbps. For a hotel in a tourist-heavy area, this is unacceptable and suggests a clear lack of awareness of guest needs—especially for travelers who rely on Wi-Fi to plan outings or stay in touch. Noise was another major issue. The elevator makes a blaring siren-like noise when it opens, which woke me up every single morning. The walls and doors are paper-thin, making it easy to hear people walking or talking outside, and the doors slam shut loudly, adding to the disturbance. Finally, while not the hotel’s fault, there were a few homeless individuals living around the property, which might make some guests feel uneasy, particularly at night. All in all, while the staff were excellent and the location worked, there were just too many frustrating and avoidable issues—poor housekeeping, unusable Wi-Fi, subpar breakfast, noise problems, and a lack of attention to guest experience basics. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the hotel makes significant improvements across the board."

"The overall experience of staying at the hotel when traveling in Rome is very satisfactory! The hotel is located very close to People's Square, very close to the subway and bus hubs, and convenient transportation. The hotel is a typical Italian hotel, from decoration to service are very satisfactory. The room is small, but very exquisite, there are things that should be there, and the toiletries are also very good. The window sill is always infested with pigeons, lively and pleasant. I chatted with the front desk, a total of 72 rooms, and I told him that 72 is a good number in China."

The Unbeatable Gateway: Why This Hotel is My New Travel Holy Grail Just stumbled upon a hotel so perfectly positioned, it feels like discovering a secret cheat code for seamless travel. Forget everything you know about compromise – this place delivers *everything* without the premium price tag. Its location isn't just good; it’s **utterly transformative** for any traveler, especially weary souls like me arriving from long-haul flights. **The Transport Trifecta: Your Effortless Escape Hatch** Stepping out the lobby door feels like holding a master key to the city. Directly downstairs? **Airport buses**! No frantic taxi hunts or confusing shuttle transfers. After a 14-hour journey, seeing that bus stop literally steps away, offering a smooth, affordable ride back to the terminals, was pure bliss. It’s the kind of stress-eraser you only appreciate after dragging luggage across multiple blocks elsewhere. But it gets better. A stone's throw away lies the **central train station**. Not some distant suburban outpost, but the genuine hub connecting you to *every* district, landmark, and hidden gem. Regional day trips? Easy. Exploring quirky neighborhoods? Done. Late-night returns? No problem. The station's comprehensive network meant I could spontaneously chase a sunset view across town or visit a famed museum district without a single transport worry. Freedom, truly unlocked. **The Heartbeat of the City: Steps, Not Strides** Here’s the magic dust: **walkability**. Forget ”close to the center” meaning a 20-minute trek or an expensive Uber. The vibrant city core – pulsating with main squares, iconic cafes, bustling markets, and those irresistible little boutiques – is a mere **10-15 minute stroll** away. I timed it! Wandering home through charming, illuminated streets after dinner, gelato in hand, soaking in the atmosphere without racing for transport… that’s the authentic travel experience we crave. You’re *in* the city, not just near it. **Beyond Logistics: The Pulse of Convenience** The immediate neighborhood isn’t just a transit zone; it’s alive! Need a midnight snack? Corner store open late. Craving authentic local breakfast? Charming bakery two doors down. Forgot your adaptor? Electronics shop around the corner. Pharmacies, casual eateries, coffee spots – it’s all there, woven into the fabric outside your door, making daily needs effortless and adding genuine local flavor. **The Jaw-Dropper: Value That Feels Like a Steal** Given this prime location and unparalleled connectivity, you’d expect a premium price, right? Prepare for a shock. The rates are **remarkably affordable**. It’s not just ”budget-friendly”; it’s **outrageous value**. I kept double-checking, convinced there must be a catch. Clean, comfortable room, essential amenities, friendly staff, *and* this location? For this price? It feels less like paying for a hotel and more like investing in a seamless, enriching travel experience. **The Verdict: Don't Hesitate, Just Book** Honestly? This hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's the ultimate **strategic basecamp** that elevates your entire trip. The unbeatable combo of instant airport access, total city-wide rail connectivity, effortless walkability to the core, vibrant local amenities, *and* genuine affordability is simply unmatched. It removes friction, saves precious time and money, and lets you focus purely on experiencing the destination. After raving about it to fellow travelers at breakfast, I watched them immediately pull out their phones to check availability. It’s that obvious. This isn't just *a* good option; **it’s the smartest choice you can make**. Book it before everyone else discovers this golden spot – you’ll thank yourself from the moment you step off the plane until your final, effortless journey back to the airport. An absolute traveler's triumph!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The cleanliness was outstanding, and everything was well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making the service truly excellent. The amenities were also excellent and contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only downside was the location, as it was quite far from the city center. Reaching the main attractions required changing buses and metro lines several times, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. It would be very helpful if the property could offer a shuttle service for guests, even as a paid option, to make transportation easier and more convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for couples looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-equipped place to stay. Many thanks to all wonderful staffs

I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The location was decent, about a 30-minute bus ride to the city center. It’s not exactly central, but manageable if you’re okay with the commute. We've stayed at this hotel twice. The premium room and standard room only differ in size and the presence of a desk. The renovation is brand new, with a fresh and understated design. The elevator operates silently but is slow. The soundproofing between rooms could be better, but if you just need a place to sleep while traveling and want to quickly depart from Termini for other parts of Italy, it's ideal and budget-friendly.

An Unforgettable Stay with Exceptional Service at Starhotels Hello, I’m a traveler from Korea who recently stayed at Starhotels during a family trip to Italy. Our 4-day stay in Rome was so wonderful that I felt compelled to write this heartfelt review as soon as I returned home. This trip was our very first family vacation to Europe — with my mother and my son — and we spent the first three days in Rome at Starhotels. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations: the excellent location, the spotless rooms, and most of all, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made our stay incredibly comfortable. We were so satisfied that we decided to return to Starhotels for our final night in Italy. However, due to a mistake on my part, I accidentally booked the wrong date. After completing a long 11-day journey through southern Italy, we returned to Rome exhausted — only to realize the booking was incorrect when we arrived at the hotel. It was a stressful and overwhelming moment… until Mr. Tofael M., the manager, kindly stepped in to help us. Before even fully understanding the issue, Mr. Tofael looked us — especially my son — in the eyes and simply said, “Don’t worry.I’ll find a solution for you.” Those few words brought such relief and comfort. In a foreign country, such a mistake can feel paralyzing, but his calm and genuine reassurance made a huge difference. Even more touching was how Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola S. at the front desk went out of their way to find a solution for us. Since the booking was made through an external site (not directly through the hotel), it was a complicated issue. Nevertheless, Mr. Tofael personally made multiple calls and followed up diligently until he was able to resolve the matter. Thanks to his efforts, we were able to spend our last night in Italy exactly where we wanted — back at Starhotels, feeling safe and cared for. As someone who has worked for years in global hotel chains in Korea and is still in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say that their professionalism and dedication truly stood out. They are a model of what true hoteliers should be — and they absolutely deserve recognition and praise. Without hesitation, I will choose this hotel again when I return to Rome. I also plan to recommend Starhotels, along with the outstanding service of Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola, to as many people as possible through blogs, travel communities, and any platform I can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Traveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. The key is that the breakfast is particularly rich. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Wenzhou people next to the subway station. Occasionally, you can adjust your stomach. It is not expensive and quite authentic. I went out to play in Pompeii for a day, and the luggage was stored in the hotel. The service was also very good. It will still be my first choice next time I come.

The hotel is just 2 mins away from Roma termini and lots of restaurants around .the hotel room is good for a night stay ,clean sheets and towels were provided .the bathroom was clean but had a cigarette smell ,had an working air conditioning. You will see lots of local people hanging around the street ,but it would be the same for any hotel In that lane ,could be a bit scary if you reach late over the night.overall the stay was good . If you are looking for a budget hotel and a good stat with connectivity I would recommend for sure .but if you are too particular about cleanliness of entire stay and safe street then not a good suggestion
