The hotel is 2 minutes walk, very close to the main trains station Roma Termini. Surrounded by restaurants, there are also bountiful of shops and a conad supermarket in the Station Termini.
Bus and metro are also super convenient, metro station just in termini, bus stops are all around.
The rooms are clean and not small. The concierge has good English and nice attitude.
The accommodations were great! The location was far from the main city centers of Rome, but there was a shuttle bus to and from. However, my group usually wanted to stay longer than when the bus would leave. Overall, a great stay.

Hotel is a little old but clean. The location is excellent. Close to roma termini train station and metro. Quite a number of eateries nearby. The hotel provides water dispenser within its property, since it does not provide bottled water. Very environmental friendly.

It's quite a sizable hotel, especially for European standards. Attractions are within reasonable walking distance, but I'd still recommend taking a taxi. Rome's streets can be quite hilly, and the old cobblestone paths aren't the easiest to navigate on foot. The hotel can arrange for taxis. There are several good restaurants and two supermarkets within walking distance nearby. The hotel breakfast, however, was pretty average.
This is a great hotel that has many amenities which include a large breakfast buffet option, a large gymnasium. and a bar on the main level with a pool table.
The shower never ran low on hot water nor pressure and a Lavazz Espresso machine was inside the room with a large TV, safe box, a mini refrigerator,a wardrobe closet, and an excellent blow dryer which delivered uninterrupted high heat.
The staff were kind and upon requests were helpful to include arranging for a private driver to the airport for a competitive cash price.
I look forward to returning again in the future.
Love this hotel! The staff are so amazing and friendly that they upgraded our room without us asking! It included breakfast with the booking! A lot of variety of food to choose from. The room is so clean and smells so good! They clean up for us every day as well. Definitely the best stay in our entire Europe trip! đâ¨
This place is a haven for true relaxation and rejuvenation. I loved everything about it: the stunning nature, the singing birds, parrots flying freely, a swimming pool, excellent service, and the convenience of having several cafes and a shop on-site. Our accommodation came with its own private porch, a BBQ area, Wi-Fi, and other useful amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped and very convenient. The location is superb. I had a fantastic time and left feeling completely refreshed.

The location of the hotel was great. If you are a lonely traveller or a couple it might be great for you. There is a market, metro station and bus station nearby. The staff were nice.
If you are a family with a small child I wouldnât recommend this hotel. Our room was very old. The bathroom was small. The front door is not suitable for a stroller it must be modified in every passage. There is stairs everywhere in the hotel so you should carry your stroller. Sometimes the elevators donât work.
The breakfast lacks many options. If you like croissant and coffea you can be happy with it but if you want boiled egg for your kid you must pay extra eventhough you have already paid for breakfast. The choices donât change. There are smashed egg, bacon, sausage everyday.
I wonât recommend this hotel for a family with small child.
This hotel is simply a treasure on the journey! Hidden on the hill, sitting on the beautiful scenery, like a quiet paradise isolated from the world. The room design is super distinctive, the rich European manor style cleverly integrates the simple and elegant Oriental elements, the all-wood furniture is simple and atmospheric, the hygiene is spotless, and the living is super comfortable!
The dining experience is also impeccable! In addition to exquisite ready-made pastries, breakfast can also be customized for exclusive meals, chefs make on-site, fresh and delicious; dinner can be booked in advance, the price is conscience, the price is full! The most surprising thing is that there is a group of cute cats in the yard, walking leisurely, and they will gather obediently to take out food. They are full of cuteness, and they are simply a paradise for cat lovers! I highly recommend self-driving friends to come here, and they will definitely reap an unforgettable and pleasant journey!

DdisasterEXEHotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house.
I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.
GGuest UserGood location. I like to walk, so I was able to walk to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Breakfast was also good. However, the shower room is very small.
×××Very clean, good location, didnt leave drinking water for wellcome but you could buy from the minibar 2.5 euro per small bottle. We asked for Iron and ironing board and they are not providing to consumers. You can pay per item for ironing services and wait 1.5 hours to get it ironed.
GGuest UserThe hotel is situated on a lively square. It is clean, appears newly renovated (in the rooms) and well maintained, with a reasonably attractive aesthetic. The accommodation is plain and simple: Â a bit student dorm-like with small rooms, but the room is pleasant, and clean, and the aircon actually works (unlike most in Italy). The lobby is staffed 24 hours a day (which is a plus), and the staff are helpful. The downsides are the small room size (oddly did not bother me) and the thin cheap doors. I chose to stay here rather than an airport hotel during a transit, and found the experience quite fun, being able to walk around Rome for a few hours overnight. ONE PROBLEM I would mention is that they are currently renovating the top 2 floors of the hotel (4 storeys) ... and it makes a lot of noise in the morning if you are trying to sleep after 8am. If you get out of the room before 8am, it probably won't bother you too much ... but if you like staying up late, I would find somewhere else to stay. Also, the hotel should warn guests of the problem, and they do not.

GGuest UserDon't be fooled by the score. The service was average, no real like or dislike to it. Getting to the hotel was easy as its around the corner and getting to the room was no problem either, clealiness was as expected, however the walls were fairly thin, you could hear next door fairly easily. The thing I really disliked though was the room was not the image that I thought I was paying for, I thought I paid for a nice looking red room, it looked a hell of a lot better than the actual boring green, slightly more modern than 90s style bedroom that I actually received. I planned to propose to my fiancĂŠ in Rome and the room that I thought I paid for was suppose to be the cherry on top as the last main surprise detail of our trip (the room was actually the final nail in the coffin after a complicated day), I saw it earlier in the day and I'm glad I didn't ask the question that day because coming back to that room would have been such a really disappointing time - I proposed in Porto instead and that experience was far better than expected
DDilysLHad a great 2 nightsâ stay, roomâs clean & neat, spacious w/ necessary amenity, our room can enjoyed site of a museum next to the hotel. Locationâs convenient with 10 minutesâ walk to main train station. Pietro, the front desk officer was friendly and helpful.
PPerma FortunaWas welcomed by the very friendly Dark haired Desk Manager. She swiftly glanced at the colors of my outfit and assigned me a room that perfectly matches... I found out that later as it was a pleasant surprise, she guessed that I drink lots of tea, so she gave me a huge luxury tea kettle to take to my room, some people are emotional genuises! She figured I booked this hotel because of the name... So she explained to me the historic significance of Fium-Icino and it's incredible subtle multi-player Ed lesser relation to the famous Rubicon, which used to be called Fium-Icino until the rediscovery of the Rubicon.. It's like all the Great rivers know each other! She explained that the Rubicon became associated with Barracks populism and the Tiber became associated with Aristocratic democracy and later on Enjoying Catholicism. The Hotel itself sits on the mouth of Second tributary canal that fed the new port of old Rome, because the original Tiber last miles were full of it! If you must see the older river Port is a 15 minute walk south across until you reach the North banks across of Ostia. As that settled in my mind, she explained the Tiber significance Upstream Rome... Small boats used to go up the Tiber deep into Umbria. The thought of all that was amazing, due to the Hotel significance it will be renovated into an exclusive Luxury 5 star Hotel, will be all Stone like the Monolithic Limestone honed filled sink, but with stone cladding everywhere it will become prohibitively expensive luxury hotel, but for now it's still an excellent Transit hotel... A good 1 hour walk from the airport, especially at night, make a right and follow the river North Bank of the new Canal and you will reach the Hotel... You can't miss it.
GGuest UserThe family suite was quite spacious, more than enough for three people. However, the only mirror was in the bathroom; there were absolutely no mirrors in the living room or bedroom, which was very inconvenient. The front desk staff were a mixed bag; some were very slow to respond and seemed to struggle with even simple requests or processing bookings, which led to significant delays. However, one slim, middle-aged male staff member was excellent â he was very sharp, recommended a restaurant, and even helped us call a taxi.
The hotel is located near the train station, making subway access quite convenient. However, we witnessed some fights on the street at night, making it feel unsafe to go out after 10 PM. There's a restaurant near the hotel called Kuanzhai Xiangzi. Their Sichuan cuisine is very authentic, the beef noodles are incredibly delicious, and their stir-fried dishes are also tasty.
