"Great central location in Killarney, but unfortunately, there was an Irish football final the night of our stay, and the noise nuisance lasted until 2 AM. However, the Irish breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant's head waitress was absolutely lovely! The town is charming, and the national park is wonderfully beautiful!"

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and overall we were happy with the hotel and its facilities.
During our stay, we noticed that the power sockets in the room were not working. We reported this to reception, and a technician attended within about 30 minutes. He identified that the issue was caused by a faulty hair dryer which had tripped the main circuit, and it was replaced promptly. After that, the power supply worked fine. We really appreciated the quick and professional response from the staff.
However, there was an issue with the room type. We booked a Triple Room Ensuite (1 double bed and 2 single beds) through the Trip.com app, but the room provided (Room 305) had 1 double bed and only 1 single bed, which did not match the booking details.
Apart from this discrepancy, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We hope the room description on the booking app can be clarified to avoid confusion for future guests."

"Beautiful breakfast with a stunning view of the lake. Lounge, but, the hotel accommodates itself as a spa, but the pool is small with cold water, the tile is old, falls off. Jakuzi didn't work. Hammam and spa are not in the recreation area. They can provide sometimes separately, as a compliment, is separately.
Likewise, we paid extra for the view of the lake, but there was a cemetery in front of the lake. We need to warn of such nuances. It spoiled the atmosphere."

"We stayed there for two nights during peak travel season in early August. You can’t beat the location as it is right next to the train station. The bed was comfortable but we didn’t sleep well even with the fan on as the warm and humid weather plus the insects keep trying get into our room made us feel uncomfortable. Food and service were okay at breakfast buffet but when we went to the same restaurant for dinner the Chicken Supreme we ordered is by the driest and tasteless we ever had. As people of colour travelling from Canada, we unfortunately didn’t get the same extraordinary service that other tourists are raving about."

WWuyichenThe town is lively and charming, and the hotel is a family-run establishment with a bit of history. It's small but excellent, and our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast required a short wait, was semi-buffet style, and the food was quite exquisite—highly recommended. Of course, it would be even better if the value for money could be higher.

GGuest UserLove Killarney Royal Hotel. Elegant and cozy. Our suite at the front of the hotel was spacious and light. We didn’t mind facing the Main Street as we like to observe people going and coming. My friend got a bigger suite but it faced the inside so there was not much natural light and was dark. Breakfast was delicious. Service was great from the receptionist to the breakfast ladies and a special mention to John the bellman who recommended great restaurants, helped with our luggage’s and even hop in our car to show us the way to the carpark and walked back with us (3mn walk). Kudos to all the team for making our stay in Killarney memorable.

GGuest UserOur two night stay was the most enjoyable experience ever. The hotel has a lovely cool and relaxing vibe, with a dedicated space where you can sit and contemplate looking out to the ocean.
Being served your breakfast was a welcome experience (one you don’t get in most hotels). It was a pleasure to come back in the evenings after spending the day strolling around the town.
The hotel offers great entertainment in their comfortable lounge. And of course the staff were friendly throughout the hotel.
I will definitely be going back for a visit.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 2 nights in October 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very cute, not like a standard hotel room. The restaurant was very good and everyone was very friendly. It was in a great location for sightseeing-we did the Ring of Kerry while we were staying and we would have loved to stay longer. We hope to return some day!
