We had an unforgettable stay at Apurva Kempinski Resort Nusa Dua! A huge thank you to Amar and Bayu for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. They made my son's birthday celebration truly special with beautiful room decorations and a delicious cake. The beachfront dinner was outstanding, showcasing impressive culinary skills. Breakfast was also superb, with fantastic coffee. The resort's lush surroundings and serene atmosphere made us feel like home. The kids' club was a hit with our son, and we appreciated the wonderful amenities. We'll definitely be back! Key highlights: - Friendly and helpful staff - Excellent culinary experiences - Breathtaking resort atmosphere - Fantastic kids' club

We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Bali with our parents and children. It turned out to be one of the most family-friendly resorts we’ve ever experienced. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, it is just right opposite Kuta Beach and just steps away from plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes. It made getting around with kids so convenient whether for beach time, meals, or a short stroll to explore. The highlight for our children was definitely the pool area, it’s massive with shallow sections and splash zones perfect for younger kids. The waterslides and play area kept them entertained for hours. One of the surprises we loved was the complimentary family photo shoot, such a thoughtful way to capture memories of our trip! Before we left Bali, we were also treated to complimentary drinks at the Hard Rock Café in the airport

It was a very lovely resort, huge & had lots of activities. Very friendly/polite workers. They gave welcoming drinks and string bracelets (consist of 3 elements; The red element symbolizes creativity and bravely, the black element symbolizes powerful and protected us from bad spirit and white element symbolizes spirituality and goodness). They gave fruit platter in room. I accidentally missed a step on the front fountain at the entrance steps on my way out walking, twisted my ankle badly on the first day. My husband asked for an ice pack & they gave us a bucket of ice. That was lovely. Need to focus on cleanliness especially on bathroom - showers (slight molds) and bathtubs (painted on - in the first room before they moved us closer to our son. The paint was peeling off as we filled bathtub with water. The bathtub was slippery in the second room, my son fell in & hurt his back & hips. They managed to find me a room so that I could be together with my son (adjoining room) but the air conditioning was not working. I asked them for at least portable AC but they only gave us a pedestal fan. Gym was very tiny, not balance as there are over 500 rooms in the complex. Plus, lack of monitoring, water dispenser is empty. The squash balls aren’t pumped so it doesn’t bounce at all. Porter need to be extra careful when pushing trolley cart, I got struck with it from the back so hard. I injured myself but he didn’t mean it, he was very apologetic. Therefore we decided to checkout one day early, even though we paid for it. I asked for lunch as a swap and paid the difference since we won’t be around for the next day breakfast (due to early checkout) but not possible but instead they did prepare & pack-up breakfast boxes in advance. That was lovely of them.

This hotel was very nice. Highly recommended for anyone. Close to the airport, famous for plane spotting as they take off very close by. Awesome rroof top terrace including pool, bar and relax area. The sunset from up there is amazing with an 360° view over the airport and city. The hotel staff, always friendly and helpful with a touch of local customs and clothing. The rooms always nicely cleaned as well as good sized. The breakfast offers buffet with lots of different food to choose from. It was a very nice stay because there are tourists from all around the world as well as lot of local business travellers. It is very good located as transit hotel as well as for long-term holidays. We stood there nearly a week with local shops and restaurants right opposite the hotel or in walking distance. Great thanks to the hotel.

One of the best vacation beach hotels I experienced. Room was spacious, clean, with safety box and balcony... The swimming pool was great - sun tanning/ protection lotion provided - subject to availability 😀 The hotel was just some 100 metres to the beach, walkable distance to Beachwalk shopping mall, Waterbom, and there were many restaurants, bars, and massage around. Round the corner was the busiest district with shopping, eating, or just walking😄 What impressed me the most was, every single servicing staff was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again! ** there was a very cheap laundry shop in the hallway to the hotel. 😃

It was our 3rd stay with Truntum. Booked an executive suite, and loved our stay. It was memorable, beautiful, and very pleasant. The room was huge with a nice balcony to enjoy sea breeze and sound of the wave. Toilet was clean and well provided, a warm welcome card was prepared, and it was a nice touch. However, during our stay, we had an issue with the aircon. Techician was very prompt on repair, but the issue persist on the next day. Since it was our last day, we just bear with it. But overall, we will definitely stay at Truntum again.

Highly recommend The Stones for a luxurious and comfortable holiday in Bali. The location was great, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the actual hotel was well maintained and satisfying in every category. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the pool was large and well designed. The Jacuzzi was warm and lovely to relax in after a day of walking. The breakfast was fresh and varied with great selections - we wanted for nothing! The pool table was a great way for the kids to entertain themselves and the staff went above and beyond to help. I accidentally left my handbag with a large amount of cash and my passport, lying on a bench. I went back half an hour later and the staff had located it and put it in a safe location after trying to contact me! All money and items were still in the bag when staff returned it to me - very honest, friendly and genuine people at this hotel. It was a lovely stay.

This hotel is located between the international and domestic sections of Bali Airport. It's about a 10-minute walk from international arrivals. It's a great option for an overnight stay, especially if you have a late-night connecting flight. The soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any planes taking off or landing. The breakfast spread was extensive. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are spotless and the staff are warm and helpful. The Hotel Spa is lovely—just remember to book early. While the car lane is a bit tight with some construction still ongoing, the location is great, just a short walk to the beach. Also, don’t miss Cocoon Restaurant nearby—the food and service staff are excellent! There is a LA Mora Spa nearby the hotel offers great and reasonable price hot stone massage, head massage and eye lash extensions too.

Just terrific! Amazing! Awesome Everything was great. The staff is incredible kind. The facilities are out of this world. My only point, which is not so important , was the food. It seems like heated , not fresh. And the portion was small, I wouldn’t mind to pay a bit more for a bigger portion. That’s my only criticism. But I loved it !

JJanenysurvivorThe room itself is very nice! All the facilities and amenity are provided, very convenient. Close to the beach able to walk directly! Beachfront is black sand, so niceee. There is the renovation going on, but that thing doesn’t bother me. The thing is when they do the renovation and they need to keep the stuff away from the room, I don’t know how they keep the pillows, all four pillows had a musty smell, and we had to call housekeeping to replace them during the night. This has to be improved.

AAbz PHilton Bali Resort offers a stunning cliffside location with breathtaking ocean views, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. The lush grounds, scenic setting, and access to a private beach add to the overall charm. Rooms are spacious and clean, with balconies that let you soak in the incredible surroundings. While the resort does not offer halal food, there are decent vegetarian options available at several of the on-site restaurants, which helped accommodate dietary needs. Staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help, enhancing the experience. The facilities—including the pools, spa, and kids’ area—are well-maintained and add to the resort’s appeal. Though food choices for certain dietary restrictions could be improved, the atmosphere, service, and location more than make up for it. Overall, Hilton Bali is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful and luxurious environment with unbeatable views.

VVictorAh, ”Gradmas” in Bali! It seems you're likely referring to one of the Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, specifically Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak or Grandmas Plus Hotel Airport. They are popular budget-friendly options in Bali. To give you a good review, I can summarize what people generally say about them, but if you stayed at a specific Grandmas Plus Hotel, let me know which one (e.g., Seminyak, Airport, Legian), and I can tailor the review even more. Here's a general overview of what people often say about Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, combining common feedback: Grandmas Plus Hotels, Bali (General Review) Overall Impression: Generally, Grandmas Plus Hotels are well-regarded as excellent value-for-money options, especially for budget travelers, solo travelers, and those looking for a convenient location. They often receive high ratings for their service and cleanliness. What people like most: * Excellent Location: This is a consistent highlight. * Seminyak: Very close to Seminyak Beach (often cited as a 5-minute walk) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. This makes it ideal for those wanting to explore the vibrant Seminyak area. * Airport: Convenient for early flights or quick stopovers due to its proximity to the airport. * Friendly and Helpful Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being amicable, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. They often mention the staff's smiles and willingness to help. * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are consistently described as sparkling clean and well-maintained. * Value for Money: Guests frequently mention that the price paid for the amenities and location is a great deal. * Breakfast: Often receives positive remarks for being good, and sometimes even offering a ”different gourmet food selection” daily. * Amenities: While generally basic, they offer essential amenities. Some locations have a pool, and many have a connected restaurant/bar. In-house spas are also mentioned as a plus. * Comfort Rooms (after checkout): Some hotels in the chain offer a ”comfort room” which is a nice touch for guests with later flights. What people like least (or areas for improvement): * Room Size: A very common comment is that the rooms can be ”compact,” ”small,” or ”cramped,” especially for families. While well-designed and clean, they might feel a bit tight for some. * Noise: Depending on the room location, street noise, music, or bar noises can be audible, especially in Seminyak, which is a lively area. * Bathroom Ventilation/Issues: Some reviews mention a lack of exhaust fans in bathrooms, or occasional issues like drainage smells or spots on tiles. * Pool Size/Quality: For the Seminyak location, the pool is sometimes described as ”tiny” or ”very poor” and can get crowded. * Limited Amenities: While good for the price, some guests might miss certain features like mini-fridges or electric kettles in the rooms (though free mineral water is usually provided). Would I recommend this hotel? Based on common reviews, yes, I would recommend Grandmas Plus Hotels, especially if you are: * A budget-conscious traveler. * Looking for a hotel with an excellent, central location (Seminyak) or close to the airport. * Prioritizing friendly service and cleanliness over spacious rooms or extensive luxury amenities. * Traveling solo or as a couple (larger groups or families might find rooms a bit small). They are often described as a great base for exploring Bali, offering a comfortable and practical stay without a hefty price tag.

GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wife’s wise card wouldn’t work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldn’t work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing. On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or don’t care about hotel guests. Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff. The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. It’s a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.

AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
