Inspired by the dramatic coastline of Carita and the calm rhythm of the Sunda Strait, Movenpick Resort Carita offers a refined beachfront escape where relaxation blends with joyful family spirit. The resort features 219 elegant rooms with sweeping ocean v iews, plus Lagoon Restaurant, Bluewave Lounge and Oceana Pool Bar. Families enjoy shimmering pools, Bliss Spa, Seabreeze Golf, a modern fitness centre and the Little Bird Kids Club, along with 2254 sqm of event space for memorable occasions.
"This place is perfect for a healing getaway and staycation; the vibes genuinely feel like Bali. The facilities are excellent, and the swimming pool is absolutely top-notch, connecting directly to a private beach.
However, the cleanliness was a letdown. It's a shame there were still used diapers and tissues left by previous guests that hadn't been cleared. For a 5-star hotel, such details really ought to be addressed.
Service-wise, it was a bit disappointing. The receptionist and operator were difficult to reach, and the receptionist wasn't very talkative.
The food selection was abundant, but the taste was just standard.
Overall, I was happy to stay at Movenpick. Hopefully, they can improve on these complaints to provide an even more perfect experience for future customers."

"The hotel facilities are decent, but the service attitude is problematic.
When we checked into our rooms, we had an extra one. We wanted to check out of one room early, but they wouldn't allow it, which was understandable since it was pre-paid during booking. However, the hotel staff were extremely rigid and unhelpful, which is quite uncommon for hotels here. Ctrip (the booking platform) was excellent, trying to coordinate several times to help, but the hotel just kept saying there was nothing they could do.
I confirmed with the front desk multiple times that we had a free laundry credit of 200,000 IDR. After repeated confirmations, at checkout, they said it was 200,000 IDR for one *bag* of laundry. They kept insisting that's what they had said all along, which was speechless.
Towels weren't replaced promptly, and the bathmat hadn't been changed once in the five days since check-in.
The laundry bag provided was stained with something, so I didn't dare to use it.
The breakfast variety was mediocre, not much that suited our taste, and no chopsticks were provided."

The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of delicious food to choose from every morning. What truly stood out was the hospitality. Every staff member was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.

"I booked this hotel because I had a 7:00 AM flight. You can't beat the accessibility! Our airline counter was B, and the hotel was behind D. It was great not having to worry about getting to the airport. Just be aware that the entrance is very hard to find. You have to go down a narrow passageway between ”Solaria” and ”100-Hour Curry” and then down the stairs. There's no elevator, but the staff handles all luggage up and down, which was a great help. You can buy beer next to the front desk!"

BBensellamWe stayed here for one night before our connecting flight, and for that purpose, this hotel was truly excellent. Its location is ideal for a stopover. The service was friendly and professional. We were also allowed to check out an hour later, which was very nice and gave us some extra peace of mind before heading to the airport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all amenities. All in all, an excellent choice for travelers looking for a comfortable overnight stay before continuing their journey. Definitely recommended!

GGuest UserHad a cosy, quiet and enjoyable 5-night stay at Herloom's one-bedroom premier twin room. Experienced some problems with the balcony door and bad odour from below the kitchenette's sink, and the support came to rectify the issues promptly. Breakfast was fantastic. All the hospitality staff were courteous and, without fail, asked for feedback for improvement. Kudos to the customer service team! Special shout-out to Ranti, who greeted us every morning with her bright smile and was prompt to help with all the requests we had during breakfast. Great service with sunshine smiles even on rainy days! Will definitely recommend Herloom Hotel and Residence BSD to travellers for a comfortable stay at BSD.

MmoonindayExcellent! It's very close to the airport and offers a shuttle service. Rooms on the right side facing the road can be a bit noisy, as Indonesian motorcycles are loud from morning till night. So, from my second stay onwards, I always requested a room on the left side, which is very quiet and ensures a good night's sleep. The breakfast also has a wide variety of options suitable for Chinese palates. I really hope I can come here for a vacation someday instead of just a business trip. Even for business, it's great, perfectly avoiding city center traffic, and the hotel's ambiance makes you feel like you're on holiday!~ (￣▽￣～)~

IIchakamilEverything was absolutely great! The location is strategic, and the food was delicious. However, I do have one complaint: the room had a bit of a musty smell when we first entered. I hope this can be looked into. Also, during breakfast, there were some black bits in the orange juice. Even after changing glasses, it was still there. We informed the staff, and they immediately responded and offered us complimentary watermelon juice. All the best, Hotel Santika!

AAnonymous UserCannot praise the service in this hotel enough! The transfer from the airport to the hotel was smooth. The driver (Yuda) was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The front desk (Salsabila) cannot be more friendly. There was a construction near the hotel, so the traffic was really bad, but this has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
