Best Western Plus Kenwick Park Hotel

If you like the outdoors, this is the place to stay. I was here on business for 3 nights at stayed at the hotel. I did not know about all the other activities it offered until I stayed here. Had log cabins in wooded areas great to get back to nature. Sporting activities for all - Golf, kids outdoor activities, indoor swimming pool and spa facilities... caters for everyone's tastes. Food was excellent too, although a limited choice if you stay more than a week and decide to eat in every night. I will definitely be back
Holiday Inn Lincoln

Good hotel in an excellent position, on the Bradford Wharf. Area has undergone renovation, and has lots of restaurants and bars. We would particularly recommend the Barge Inn. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and although the hotel is large, it still kept a cosy feel. Clean and comfortable.

Duke William Hotel

I am an ancient and reasonably crusty retired Army officer. My cum and I visited Duke William for a meal. We walked in at 7 o'clock (1900hrs in real time) and It was heaving! Think pre-Covid rush-hour Underground train. A polite young man (Josh) pointed us (combined age 170) in the right direction. The restaurant was fully booked, and thus we had to return to Josh to order our food. The meal was served remarkably promptly by a charming young lady (Lisa) and was jolly good ('pub grub') in every respect - except: the portions were far too large! When we left, about 2100hrs, the place seemed even fuller, with a mix of all ages present. In addition to the great crowd there was an eclectic selection of well-behaved dogs. I cannot comment of cost, as neither of us had visited a pub since before the wretched Covid. Well done all concerned at 'Duke William', and thanks.

Stayed in a double sea view room and really liked the oldey world charm, nice view of the sea in the distance. The room could of done with a dust but we did not mention this as it’s not a big deal . When we arrived 2 ladies were not the most friendly when pointing us to another lady at the front as they wanted to carry on talking to each other the lady at the front was much better and friendly and helpful. We went to the bar in the evening and the guy begins the bar was welcoming and very friendly a asset to the hotel, we then had some food which was mainly good but found the kofte kebab pink in the middle so sent it back, we did inform the member of staff and he offered a replacement which we declined. The rest of the food was very nice. Golfers congregated outside in the morning and we’re very noisy around 8am as we were in holiday we didn’t want to get up at this time but again a minor issue. Breakfast was lovely especially the mushrooms that were cooked in butter. All in all we liked the hotel and have booked again for the end of March. Would recommend but don’t expect a brand new building this hotel is older and has amazing old world charm which is nice to see in the age of ultra modern.
Woodcocks, Lincoln by Marston's Inns

Very nice hotel, the hotel is in the suburbs of Lincoln, but not very far from the city, the surrounding environment is great, the hotel is self-service, the sanitation is very good, there is a Bar next to it, very lively, suitable for experiencing English country life~
The Wishing Well
3.7/533 Reviews
The Wishing Well Inn is the definition of “no thrills”. It’s easy to find and the location is good for the area but it’s definitely not a place I’d stay for a long period of time. The staff are fairly friendly and service is quick. The breakfast however, is just a basket of breakfast bars and a ready made porridge. The shower was a relic from another age, difficult to use and always either too hot or too cold. Nice bed and pillows and a good pub garden but wouldn’t recommend for longer than a stop over stay.

Lovely staff, food and room with a balcony. We stayed 4 nights here for Christmas, on getting to our room we found the heating not working, a lovely young man called Andrew came and tried to sort it out he couldn’t so brought us a small heater to use, also he couldn’t get rid of the subtitles on the tv so we spent 4 nights with them on the tv screen ( very annoying) The lift stopped working ( not their fault) but with me being disabled I found it very hard to climb up and down 4 flights of stairs so for the last day and night we had food (sandwiches) in our room 🥹 But, we can’t fault the staff and the food and we will stay with them again.
