The hotel is well-equipped with facilities for eating, drinking and playing. It is also recommended to walk to Gaudi's main tourist spots, which allows you to experience the life, shopping and cultural beauty of Barcelona. The hotel breakfast is above average, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. However, I encountered a very bad experience. After staying for 2 days, I wanted to change the room to continue my stay (from a single room to a triple room). I communicated with the front desk two days in advance and hoped to seamlessly connect to another room. When my family arrived, they said that they could not change yet, and if there was no room at 12 o'clock, we had to exit and wait for the room. . I had checked the website before and the hotel had rooms. . Later, the hotel said that there was a room that could be changed, and asked to send the room card up so that we could change the room. They actually said that I must go down and sign to get the key. When I went down to ask, they said that the hotel's process must be like this. . This made me very disappointed and very disappointed, so I decided not to continue my stay. I hope hotel management take note on this issue, hotel guess is smart nowadays, dont simply give excuse to us and this will spoil the hotel branding overall my staying experience is perfect but due to this case i thinking should give bad feedback on the service, this may not fair to most of the hotel good service staff, but this are important for us to let u know those superb bad experience

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and of a high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My flight was delayed so I arrived at 2am in the morning and the staff were very helpful. It is slightly outside the centre of Barcelona but that does mean it is in a quiet location.

This hotel is amazing and plush, the decor is top notch and it’s definitely a high class 4 star hotel, well worth the rating. It was clean and the bed was massive and super comfortable. The service was great and managed to get a 3 hour extra late checkout option by asking at reception. The location is good, a bit further away from the night life but easily reachable by cab, would stay again

Perfect location. Like around 40m away from Casa mila . Staffs are very friendly and helpful . Room is fine however the ventilation system in room is disappointing . The sewer/ toilet smell was sooooo strong and makes us feel sick . We asked for help but no improvement at all . We had to open the window when we were staying in the room .

I recently stayed at Barceló Sants Hotel and had an excellent experience. The hotel’s unique, space-inspired design stands out and makes for a memorable atmosphere. Conveniently located above Sants train station, it offers direct access to local and high-speed trains, making it easy to explore Barcelona and surrounding areas. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful, futuristic touches and ambient lighting that create a relaxing mood. My room had an impressive view of the city, and the bed was especially comfortable, providing a great night’s rest after long days of sightseeing. Mo

We booked 4 hotels during our entire European trip, and this hotel had the worst breakfast. We clearly booked a twin room, but I don't know why they put three beds in the room, which was a waste of space.

Hotel was super amazing. Loved the amenities and staff was really helpful. Best part was the breakfast spread. Both pools were great as well. The construction seems very new as all the furniture in room were in top condition. I felt the only downside during our trip was the in-house disco event for our day of visit. It was quite dull( but that’s something specific to the performer, I guess). Overall will definitely recommend staying here for the amazing experience.

GGuest UserA short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

KKimmyg43I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel” From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true... Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast) Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor. Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely. Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain... Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels... The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment. Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease) Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics) Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks) Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked) Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky? Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room) Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk) Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk? Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️ As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward) I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there? The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works? Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself. Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel. Now for the positives... The view from the room of the sea is beautiful It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced. The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.

GGuest UserFrom the airport, take the L9 subway directly to Collblanc, and you will arrive at the hotel as soon as you exit the subway station! In addition, you can take the L5 subway from the hotel to many attractions, such as the Sagrada Familia and St. Paul's Hospital of the Cross! There is bottled water supply in the hotel room, and the hot water pressure in the bathroom is stable! I am satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. I will definitely stay here again next time I travel to Spain!

JJessicaThe hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. When I was there my room was next to the reception and I heard all the problems he had with the guests and several discussions and actually even one guest left the hotel and said until ever because he had no hot water in his room And the fat reception answered him with a cruelty that it was not his problem. And he treated me very badly and because of his fault I would never stay there again He has no ways ENGLISH A lot of noise due to a repair that was taking place in the building and the chubby man at the reception was very rude and they should not work with the public. The time I was there my room was next to the reception and I heard all the problems he had and several discussions with the client and in fact even one person left the hotel and said goodbye because he didn't have hot water in his room and the chubby guy at reception answered rudely that it wasn't his problem. He treated me very badly and . Because of Him I would never return to stay there He has no manners

DDara TanLocker is available for store luggages before check in time @ 2euro. Hotel is clean, staff is ok. Wall is thin like what other comments said but you can solve problem by your earphone. Bed is comfort, recommended. It is in walking distance to sagrada familla. About 30 mins far from airport, taxi cost will be around 50euro. Microwave is available at first floor and there is a coffee/bakery shop which open since 6.30am. Suitable for anyone who will leave hotel very early morning.

DDan@1978Hotel very well located. Average insulation. Shower with defective doors, water passing below. In the bathroom, no shutter, too much lighting that enters the room. Average swimming pool, height 80cm too small, however the view is sublime at 360º. Very comfortable bed, pillow too. Excellent breakfast.

FfaryGreat experience in this hotel, located near major tourist spots in Barcelona, good access to public transport, lots of cafes and nearby restaurant s, and famous brands such as Zara,... 😂super friendly and hospitable staff, they have booked tickets for sightseeings and gave me thorough information about how to get to those places👍👍, the room was big, spacious and clean, with lots of large mirrors and a electronic safe in the closet, 👍👍breakfast was amazing, including a wide range of hot, cooked Spanish dishes, olives, fruits and yummy cheeses 😋😋😋 Only problem I faced was the ceiling started leaking, and the staff immediately offered me another room 👍👍 I'm highly recommending this place

TTeeks Pros: - The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful - If you request something, such as an iron etc., it’s always on time and without delay - Everything was clean. I cannot complain about the cleaning standards. Cons - the room is quite dark despite the lights available - The view, especially the back view, was dreary and depressing, considering I had a long flight from Asia compared to my sister, who flew from Europe and didn’t need the rest as much as I did. Every day, I woke up to a very depressing view. It’s not ideal, and it's poor for someone who may enjoy visuals. - The sockets were annoying; one didn’t work, and the kettle station needed to be handheld or changed elsewhere. Twice, I held the kettle button down manually to make coffee because I couldn’t be bothered for someone to come and check or replace it as I was in a rush - The furniture and carpets are outdated in style and appearance. It makes the hotel look way older - There’s a door holder behind the bathroom door, which lands in the middle, next to the toilet. I hurt myself a few times because I keep forgetting it’s there and, therefore, poorly designed - Unfortunately, we forgot to bring our toothpaste and toothbrush, though I wasn’t expecting Best Western not to have them in your room. You have to request them every day. The housekeeper didn’t leave them or free water for us daily, only on the first day. So I’m not sure if she’s been forgetting to give us any, or it’s only complimentary water on day 1. - The wardrobe is tiny and in such a hidden, awakened position. It was dark black and looked like glass. We had to call the staff to show us. It’s in a weird place - Slippers: Again, much like the water, we were only given slippers on the first day. I understand the need to go green, but given that we stayed for four nights, it would be hygienic to give us a new set. On the last day, we had to wear our own shoes inside the room, which wasn’t great. - We paid € 15 additional for breakfast daily €. It was basic but not bad. But the time until 10:30AM is good. Overall, was it worth the money we paid for four nights? No. The only highlights were ,mentioned among the professional staff members and cleanliness standards.

GGuest UserWe spent a weekend at Aiguablava Parador in Begur. We were a party of four people. The good points were the location, the rooms (comfortable beds, fabulous sea view, spacious rooms, nice amenities) the hotel is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool, at the top end of the cliff, although not massive, is large enough and with fantastic views of the area. A very privileged position with views of Aiguablava cove and a private path down to the cove. Breakfast was varied and good quality in general and served in the breakfast room with gorgeous views. Freshly squeezed fruit juice and good quality coffee. The negatives were the check in experience, too long and with an inexperienced receptionist who lacked aptitude in the treatment of experienced travelers/customers and couldn’t get my name right. There was a general lack of coordination between departments (reception and restaurant) our evening meal reservation was not communicated to the restaurant either of the two days and my name was wrong in all departments from beginning to end even though the receptionist had access to my ID card and the online booking form. The evening meals were sub standard. Generally unpleasant food, tasteless fish and a dirty lukewarm brown sauce, packet custard-based deserts. Brick sized chunks of melon as fruit salad. Some dishes were inedible. A very limited wine list and very expensive wines. The service in the restaurant varied from pleasant to inappropriate with some comments from waiting staff demonstrating their inexperience and unsuitability to work in a hotel of this category, even though they were pleasant and kind at all times. On a final note, I requested by telephone if it would be possible to have some candles on a desert on our final evening as we were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. The receptionist said it would be no problem but it was not communicated to the restaurant and forgotten. As there had been so many hiccups with communication in general I didn’t bother to even try to remind them.
