Not bad hotel, clean and tidy, the waiter is very nice, the price has risen during the European Cup, the hotel in Europe is OK, the requirements are not high, the living is OK.
Hotel was in chaos when we arrived. Staffing issue with the room cleaners, only one on duty. The reception area was full of guests waiting for their rooms. We eventually got into ours at 18.30 that night. The reception staff were doing their best to keep the guests happy, They were working really hard and were terribly stressed.. Caroline in particular did an amazing job. Our room, when we got into it, was comfortable and reasonably clean. Location is very good, close to the harbour and station. Breakfast was very busy but there was plenty of choice of food and again the catering staff were working very hard. I had the impression that there are some management issues at the hotel. I felt sorry for the staff that were obviously doing their best but needed more support. Having said that it was a good stay for us and Kiel was an interesting and surprisingly lovely place to visit.
Because the customer said this was the best hotel in Kiel, stayed for another three nights, there was an open-air parking space next to it, everything was very comfortable. I should stay again in Kiel in a few days.
We booked a room with a breakfast buffet. The buffet was very extensive and there was something for every taste, very tasty. Unfortunately, the staff didn't always speak German. This is probably due to a shortage of skilled staff.
The rooms were well furnished with balconies. At night, it was dim when you got up. The bathroom was clean. The size and furnishings were adequate.
We have decided to book the hotel again.
I love the location of the hotel, which is situated between the Lübeck Main Station and the bus station to get around the city. It was a perfect location and made my business trip comfortable and convenient.
The front desk work is responsive, the attitude is warm and nuanced, the room is fully equipped, the bedding is comfortable, clean and clean, the surrounding environment is beautiful, it is a good stay memory

BBilginThe hotel is at such nice location! Just superb! We experienced great service, especially hotel being booked out they been able to move us around well and found something. Pool is so nice, outside and inside, we spend a lot of time there. Beach is walking distance, a lot of food around.
2 recommendations: I think would be nice also to consider more things for kids, in the pool and especially food. I mean breakfast ist really nice, but dinner doubt you can convince kids with such food such as seafood etc. there should be small child corner at dinner buffet, some pIzza, nuggets, frenchfries, rice, parika, gurken, etc. simple. For adults the dinner buffet is quite nice, for children, rather limited, if your kids are special with food. so dinner we had to eat always outside, which was pity.
GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and tidy, just a few steps away from the total fire, it is very convenient for us who need to drag our luggage. At first, the hotel did not find the housing information, but then what showed the check-in certificate was quickly solved.
GGuest UserClean accommodation in a quiet location with a good breakfast. Here are still proper breads from the baker and not backware and an attractive selection. The staff is also friendly and premature.
BBilginAll very nice, and very close to everything, good rooms ans equipment. The only bad thing is the parking fee, which max is 15 euro a day but if you go out and come back again, fees need to be paid again. Kind of a joke can get very expensive, if u move around with the car a lot. The entrance is so tight for the car, you need really be careful.
AAnonymous UserPersonnel is very friendly and in part for years there. Because constantly changing operators do not have a ”sul” in the hotel. Little motivation to make the hotel better because staff from foreign hotel chain can hardly make changes on their own.
Hotel is clean, but very well in the years without any rehabilitation in the last 30Jahren (we come regularly!!!).
Smoking sticks in buildings are already quite sticking the hall and, if necessary, rooms (depending on location).
Italian restaurants in the building very good.
Rooms very dark in the absence of deck lighting, only steel lamps with energy savings. No way to load mobile phones in bed.
No allergic room. Beds with substance, therefore nothing for house dust allergics.
Breakfast buffet completely ok, though nothing special. Select of backbroods, bread, croissants, sauce, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, tomato/gurk/paprika, 6 marmelades, honey, 2Ssite, tea, coffee machine.
Sauna available (no, no comment).
Parking from €12/d, or on the street.
Location on the outskirts of the city (Stockelsdorf), not footing for Lübecker Old Town. Good as a stop to the Baltic Sea/Denmark, as far from the motorway.
JJunia88Hotel location is very good, there is swimming pool and gym sauna, the hotel has parking lot but the seat is not much more than 14 euros a night. The disadvantage is that the floor of the room is gray on the side of the road, and the hotel may be old, the carpet inside the room is very dirty, the door I feel that the paint has fallen off, and the curtains in the room are also short. The morning sunlight can be glaring from below.

GGuest UserReally too bad that you have to argue for having bought and paid for a room incl. breakfast, had to forward an email from Trip, where it was clearly stated that the room included breakfast.
HHaopiqilanmaoWas kept up all night by the noise so dizzy the next day that I had to take painkillers. It seriously affected the itinerary for the next day, a very failed stay!
The hotel's central air conditioner (or ventilation system) has a particularly loud noise. Even if the AC in the room is turned off, it is still noisy all night as if you are in the cabin. Especially those rooms facing the long corridor. On the contrary, it will be quieter if it is towards the lobby direction inside, but there is no view at all.
As a five-star hotel, it is necessary to provide a comfortable sleep! This aspect is really bad. The noise was so unbearable that we changed rooms at three o'clock in the middle of the night. Fortunately, the waiter on the night shift has a good attitude, so I opened a few other rooms, let's choose. And she also said that she knows that some rooms have such problems. It appears this is the noise that has been complained about multiple times. That's why I know this row of rooms is so noisy.
So it is more confirmed that this is a problem with the AC system in the building. If you don’t want the white noise and howling like in the cabin all night, you must avoid pits.
Moreover, the bed in the hotel is very uncomfortable. It is the narrowest 0.8-meter small bed without a cushion. The big bed room is to put two small beds together. The twin beds are separated by a narrow gap. Although many in Europe are like this, it cannot be called a 5-star standard at all. The people at the front desk, from the beginning to the end, were arrogant and didn't show any apologies.
In this regard, the Marriott in Bremen is strongly recommended, and the bedding is extremely comfortable.
But one thing to say, the hotel's location, view and breakfast are really great. Walk to all sights in town. Parking at the gate is free at night (18:00-10:00 the next day), and 6 Euros all day during the day.
The staff of Ctrip: they are very responsible to customers, and they battle with the hotel. The service attitude is very good.
