This isn't my first business trip to Shanghai, but it's my first time staying at the Grand Park City Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the Bund. Transportation is also very accessible. Manager Sunny at the front desk provided incredibly professional service, explaining everything we needed with great detail and patience. My friends and I stayed in rooms 1608 and 1616. The housekeeping staff on the 16th floor were very thorough and enthusiastic with their cleaning. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit.

This hotel in the Lujiazui business district offers incredible value for money. It has a classic Chinese old-money style, and the ***** New Year decorations were very detailed. The service was also top-notch. This time, I stayed in a Bund-view room in the Zijin Building, which had a full floor-to-ceiling window. I could lie in bed and watch the sunset in the evening, and then enjoy the illuminated historical buildings of the Bund at night – truly a feast for the eyes. The afternoon tea and happy hour at the 29th-floor Executive Lounge were more than enough to fill me up. There are also several other restaurants to choose from, like Yi Cafe, Yi Hai, and Jade 36. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with a great mix of Chinese and Western options. I'll definitely be back!

The front desk staff seemed inexperienced. When I arrived to check in, no one noticed me right away. I had to wait in line for two minutes before actively asking for assistance. (Though they seemed quite enthusiastic with foreign guests.) I redeemed points for a welcome fruit platter, but it wasn't delivered even after 10:30 PM when I returned from dinner. When I inquired, they told me I had to request it again – that it wouldn't be sent automatically. What's the point of redeeming it on the platform then? It took almost an hour after calling for my child's slippers and toothbrush to be delivered, and I had to call again after 11:30 PM to finally get them. I was already exhausted from a long flight delay at the airport due to weather, so it's hard to understand why even these small things took so long. Furthermore, they didn't even know the general directions (left or right) to the nearby W Hotel on the Bund, which indicates a lack of experience. However, the service staff in the breakfast restaurant were friendly and experienced, and the food was good – definitely recommend!

My nth time in Shanghai, and this time I really wanted a river-view room, so I chose the Kempinski, and it was a great experience! Waking up and opening the curtains to see the Huangpu River truly made this northerner very happy. It's right across from the Bund, next to the 'Three Piece Set' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), so the location is excellent and convenient. **Facilities**: The hotel's overall decor is decent, and the bathroom is really impressive. The shower, toilet, and sink areas are all separate and very spacious. **Service**: I was quite surprised that when I called the front desk and room service in the evening, no one answered… Also, I had to go downstairs to pick up my takeout myself, and there wasn't even a robot, which was also pretty shocking…

Traveling with my kids, the location of this hotel is absolutely unbeatable – it's right in one of Shanghai's three iconic towers! There are tons of shopping malls nearby, perfect for retail therapy, and plenty of convenient dining options. Although I initially saw some reviews mentioning that the room decor wasn't brand new, upon checking in, I found the bedding to be very clean and the mattress and pillows incredibly comfortable. Usually, I have trouble sleeping in new places, but this time I slept exceptionally well. For this prime location and price, it truly offers the best value for money. There were also many international guests staying here. I'm really satisfied with this stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when I return, and recommend it to my friends.

This hotel catches you a little off guard. When the car pulled up I thought I was in the wrong place. It gives very strong Air bnb/bed and breakfast vibes because that’s what it is. The ppl that run the place are very kind. The owner I assume, was very kind and very friendly. He went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Even gave me cold medicine as I was struggling adjusting to Chinese fall weather and had a bad cold. The young man that worked evenings helped me order food and was a life saver because I had no way else to eat. The breakfast was minimal but tasty. Dumplings, boiled eggs and I think congee. I don’t like congee so I didn’t eat any. And I was always greeted with a smile from the lady cooking. The coffee isn’t great. Instant packets, very blah and nothing to drink really except water. There isn’t much nearby to do, it’s not walkable and so I would not stay if you’re looking for night life or convenience. But it’s a nice relaxing, quiet place to stay with a very comfy bed, nice tub, close enough to the airport and good shower pressure. I would definitely stay again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Radisson. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. A big thank you to Jason of the front desk, he assisted us with all our questions and went the extra mile in making our stay a beautiful experience. The location was perfect, near the major attractions in Shanghai, convenient for walking to the Metro or hailing a ride thru Didi. There were lots of food options near the hotel and the area was safe for tourists. Will definitely recommend staying here.

My recent business trip to Shanghai led me to the Novotel Shanghai Atlantis, and my overall experience far exceeded expectations – I simply have to write a glowing review! **Outstanding Location:** Situated in a prime spot, it's incredibly convenient for visiting attractions like the Oriental Pearl Tower and Super Brand Mall. The city views from the window are stunning, especially at night. **Stylish Yet Welcoming Design:** The lobby boasts a modern artistic flair, while the rooms are elegantly minimalist. The headboard design is distinctly 'Novotel.' What truly surprised me was the panoramic floor-to-ceiling window; it offered fantastic natural light during the day, and at night, watching the Lujiazui lights sparkle was truly uplifting. **Attentive Service:** From the efficient and friendly reception staff to the thoughtful greetings from housekeeping, every employee greeted me with a genuine smile. **Excellent Dining Experience:** The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, including local specialties and classic Western options. I particularly recommend their made-to-order noodle station; the delicious broth was a perfect start to my day. **Quality in Every Detail:** The soundproofing in the room was excellent, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the toiletries were from a premium brand. The gym was well-equipped, and there's an indoor pool, allowing me to maintain my fitness routine even while on a business trip. Whether you're a business traveler, a family, or a couple, this hotel caters to all needs. I've already recommended it to my colleagues, and the Novotel Shanghai Atlantis will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Shanghai!

Booked this for my parents. The hotel is right across from Exit 8 of People's Square Metro Station. The entrance has a large red bow, which is really eye-catching and unique. It's just a 5-minute walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and Shimao Plaza, and the International Hotel's butter cookies, which are a must-try, are right next door, about 50 meters away – super convenient. The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic. We booked an executive king room, and they upgraded us to an executive suite. The room facilities are very new, the mattress was super comfortable, and the toiletries were Hermès. The bathtub right next to the bed offered a fantastic experience. The MiniBar offered a variety of drinks and snacks, including Perrier and Zhengguanghe soda. Breakfast had a rich selection with international cuisines, and the restaurant environment was very comfortable. My parents also mentioned that the laundry room facilities and supplies were excellent. They were able to wash all their dirty clothes from the past few days, so they could go home with clean laundry. Also, the hotel doesn't have its own parking, but there are plenty of underground parking lots in nearby office buildings and malls, costing around 90-120 RMB per day. Overall, the experience was excellent. We would definitely consider staying here again if friends or relatives visit Shanghai!

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and each visit feels like coming home. The location is super convenient, and for Shanghai, it offers incredible value for money. The front desk staff are always warm and friendly, and their service is incredibly prompt. Any request I have is handled quickly, which makes me feel very well taken care of. The rooms are clean and tidy, ensuring a great stay every time. Definitely worth rebooking! 👍👍👍

WWotiantianxiangshangAn absolutely superb hotel! The location is fantastic, directly facing the Bund, offering panoramic views from the upper floors – the scenery is just stunning. It's a historic old building with interiors that exude a cultured Shanghainese charm. The hotel stated it was redecorated in early 2025, so the facilities are relatively new. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with standard king rooms ranging from 50-60 square meters, very grand indeed. Around the hotel, you'll find a wide variety of charming Chinese and international restaurants. The subway isn't far either, making transport very convenient. The hotel service is also very attentive. There are many foreign guests staying here. If you're looking to experience an elegant taste of Old Shanghai, this high-end hotel comes highly recommended.

MM350711****Excellent! I compared many hotels, and this one seemed to be the only one offering 24-hour airport pickup. Many hotels stop pickups at 11:40 PM, but this one provides both pickup and drop-off. The price is reasonable, the service is great, and the breakfast is good too, with refined desserts and a decent variety. I hope they keep up the good work; I'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserAbsolutely thrilled with my stay! The room was small, but I absolutely adored it. It was spotlessly clean, and the mattress offered the perfect balance of firmness and softness. They even provided a selection of both memory foam and cotton pillows, which were incredibly comfortable. While the room had a ventilation system, it lacked a window, so it could feel a little stuffy at times, but it was perfectly acceptable. The bathroom and shower were kept immaculately clean, which was very reassuring. The hairdryer was also excellent – I forgot the brand, but I'm seriously considering buying one for myself, haha! They provided fresh disposable towels, disposable slippers, and bottled water daily. Plus, the lobby offered complimentary lemon water and hot tea. However, there was no designated area to hang or dry clothes. If you're on a multi-day trip, it's best to pack enough outfits for each day.

AAnonymous UserMy stay at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong left a deep impression on me with its meticulous service. Special thanks to Serena, who was thoughtful and attentive from check-in to check-out. She even discreetly prepared a handwritten letter and a lovely small gift, filled with genuine warmth in every word. I'm also grateful to the breakfast restaurant manager for her kind care. Outside, the dazzling Lujiazui night view unfolded, while on the table lay a warm greeting. In that moment, the hotel ceased to be just a stopover in a foreign place; it became a warm and welcoming haven. Thank you all for turning these fleeting moments into cherished memories.

LLinyuxinqingThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right by the Bund. From the lobby, you can see the 'Three Musketeers' of Lujiazui (Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center), and you just have to cross the road to get to the Bund viewing platform. Since we were traveling with two young children, the front desk was incredibly helpful and upgraded our room, even including complimentary breakfast. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. The hotel boasts its own restaurants and afternoon tea. The 22nd floor offers Huaiyang cuisine, and the 23rd floor is home to the Italian Magic Mirror Restaurant. Dining and getting around were super convenient. Plus, all the mini-bar drinks in the room were free, which the kids absolutely loved. The front desk staff was very patient and showed us to our room, even providing welcome gifts like children's slippers and toothbrushes. All in all, it's a hotel definitely worth visiting and staying at. We'll definitely be back here on our next trip to Shanghai!

GGuest UserI booked a two-day stay at this 5-star hotel through Trip.com, and its quality certainly lives up to expectations. First, let's talk about the location. It's right across the street from Exit 8 of Metro Line 2, very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel is also directly connected to the New World Department Store, making it super convenient to get to Madame Tussauds. Next, the service. The attention to detail really showcases its high quality. Since Shanghai was quite cold in February, the hotel had already pre-heated the room, so it was wonderfully warm when I walked in. The housekeeping staff were very meticulous and responsible. From check-in to luggage storage and even the greeting at the entrance, everything was incredibly professional. In my free time, I browsed through the Radisson guide, and the content and details inside further highlighted the professionalism of the hotel's overall service. Regarding the facilities, some of them are a bit old, but it doesn't affect their functionality. The TV is indeed a bit small, which impacts the viewing experience. However, the bed was silent, and the toiletries, towels, dental kits, slippers, hairdryer, and mini-fridge were all brand new. My overall impression is that they don't cut corners on new items, and the older equipment doesn't detract from the overall experience. Because I mentioned wanting a quiet area in advance, the view from my room wasn't anything special. However, if you choose a room facing Nanjing Road or People's Park, I imagine the visual experience would be excellent. I didn't get a chance to try the bar or restaurant this trip, but I hope to experience and share them if I visit Shanghai again.
