"I was very satisfied with my stay this time; the hotel is well-balanced in all aspects. The lobby's beer barrel and wheat stalk designs are unique, and the malt yellow warm lighting creates a great ambiance. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, with super rich dishes, and even ice cream. You can enjoy free drinks at the lobby bar upon check-in. The partial sea view room was quiet and comfortable, close to Golden Beach, which is absolutely beautiful. The staff were naturally friendly, making you feel at ease. It was my wife's birthday, and the lovely front desk lady even specially sent a small cake when we checked in, which made us feel very warm and cared for. We were genuinely touched. The rooftop view is also stunning, perfect for watching the sunrise."

"All the facilities in the room were very user-friendly and worked great, and the check-in process was extremely fast. We also received a nice welcome gift—truly living up to the reputation of the famous Changyu Cabernet brand! The smart room settings were very convenient too; the automated scenes for going to bed, waking up, and opening or closing the curtains made everything so easy and seamless. The receptionist at the front desk was lovely, gentle, elegant, and very thoughtful. Oh, and by the way, the dried fish and shrimp made by the hotel itself were delicious and so fresh! Apart from the location being perhaps a bit *too* central—meaning that during holidays cars can't easily drive right up to the entrance, requiring a short walk out to the main road—everything else was simply perfect. It's just a couple of steps away from Yantaishan Park and very close to Chaoyang Street, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, shopping, and exploring the surrounding area. I will definitely prioritize staying here again next time I visit!"

"Coming to Qingdao for National Day, we stayed at the Haitian Hotel for four days and three nights. We booked a twin room with a partial sea view. I didn't have specific floor requests, and even on the 9th floor, we still had a sea view. The room was well-equipped, and supplies were replenished very quickly. It was very quiet during rest periods, which gets full marks. The breakfast was also very abundant. In terms of transportation, we took taxis everywhere, as it's a bit far from the subway station. Crucially, Xiao Shang was also very responsible, checking in daily to see if we needed anything. Our child was over 120cm, so breakfast was originally going to be charged, but Xiao Shang promptly helped me resolve this issue. Overall, we are very satisfied with the Haitian Hotel."

At the end of our trip, walking back from the exit of the Confucius Mansion's back garden also took just 9 minutes, which was super convenient. The hotel scenery is gorgeous, and the modern Neo-Chinese style is perfect for taking Instagram-worthy photos. The service was also top-notch! It easily rivals top-tier hotels in first-tier cities! A special shout-out to Emily in Guest Relations, who provided dedicated 1-on-1 service throughout our stay. She was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive!"

"Today we made a special trip to Rizhao as a stopover on our way back from our Shandong tour. Driven by my consistent love for IHG hotels, I chose the Sheraton. Upon entering, the lobby was grand and spacious as always. Because of all the food and drinks along the way, our stomachs weren't feeling too great, so we opted for a room-only rate without breakfast. On the night of our check-in, I suddenly realized we would miss having eggs in the morning, and I had no idea where to buy any at that hour. With a try-your-luck mindset, I called the front desk. A staff member named JUDY answered. I explained that we just wanted two eggs for the next morning since we hadn't booked breakfast as we couldn't eat much. She grasped my request, checked with her supervisor, and the hotel responded very quickly, agreeing to my request. Even more unexpectedly, JUDY checked in with us on our second night to ask if we would still need two eggs for our third morning... An egg is a small thing, but such heartwarming care touched us deeply! Thank you, and thank you to your management, for such prompt and proactive service! The room isn't brand new, but it makes up for it by being spotlessly clean.
The bathroom is spacious with a wet-dry separation, totally acceptable for a short one-night stay.

If the weather is good, you can catch the sunrise.
Although the exterior glass wasn't very clean, it surprisingly gave the sunrise a view reminiscent of a Monet painting.

Yantai Mountain, Suochengli, and Hongkou 1920 are all within walking distance.
There's a nice cafe and bakery that I really like just a 5-minute walk away.
Taxis to farther places are also convenient, with drivers picking up orders quickly 🚗.

"Came to Tai'an with my family for the weekend to climb Mount Tai, and our stay at this hotel was a perfect experience. The location is excellent, the room had plenty of hot water, and the shower experience was great with a good showerhead. It's within walking distance of local amenities, making dining and shopping very convenient. There's a public refrigerator in the lobby for drinks. The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odors. The beds were soft and comfortable. They provided complimentary tea, and the blackout curtains worked very well. Free parking was a big plus!"

The front desk attendant kindly upgraded us to a room with a better view. Overlooking the cityscape of Baotu Spring and Quancheng Square, the room offered an amazing view.
The hotel is situated in the prime location of Quancheng, right across from Quancheng Square. Baotu Spring and Wulongtan (Five Dragon Pool) are within walking distance, and Daming Lake and Kuanhouli are also very close by, making it extremely convenient to explore Jinan's core attractions. In addition, all the staff we encountered were very friendly. We arrived late at night, and when we needed temporary children's amenities, extra pillows, and blankets, housekeeping delivered them promptly. A really great experience.

FURY47We recently stayed in the 270° Ocean View Two-Bedroom Suite at Hilton Yantai Golden Coast, and the experience was simply top-notch—perfect for families or groups of friends traveling together. The room features massive wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows with unobstructed, frontline ocean views and a wonderfully bright, open feel. You can watch the sunrise over the sea in the morning, and take in the sunset, blue waters, and city nightscapes in the evening. It offers soothing, postcard-worthy ocean vistas anytime, anywhere, and every snapshot looks like a professional photograph.
The suite has a well-designed layout. The two-bedroom setup balances privacy with comfort, and the space is spacious and spotless. The high-end soft furnishings make for a very cozy and pleasant stay. Our butler, Winnie, provided attentive and meticulous service throughout our stay. She was quick to respond and went above and beyond—from check-in and luggage handling to answering all kinds of requests, her thoughtful care made us feel truly well-cared for.
The hotel breakfast is of great quality with a rich and comprehensive variety, featuring both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are authentic, and it includes a wide selection of hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and drinks. The food preparation is consistently good, with no cutting corners. With excellent service, a prime environment, and stunning views, this is a top-choice accommodation for a seaside getaway in Yantai.

Guest UserThe hotel boasts a grand architectural design and numerous rooms, reflecting the style of an established star-rated hotel. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable musty smell. However, the mattress was very thick and incredibly comfortable to sleep on. We ran out of tissues in the room, but the housekeeper promptly brought some when we requested them. There were no disposable bath liners for the bathtub, and they weren't available for purchase, which is an area where service could definitely be improved.
Given its large scale, the hotel could consider offering childcare services similar to Club Med. A kids' play area with soft play structures, slides, and a ball pit would be a great addition, allowing parents to relax. There was no buffet available. With such a large property, inter-departmental communication seems to be an issue. The information provided by the housekeeper for the 1928 Beer Bar's dining options was incorrect.
After checking out, the housekeeper asked for a good review. I provided some suggestions, but the housekeeper, 'Dabaitu' (Big White Rabbit), never replied. It feels like the service in northern China is often a 'do-it-because-my-boss-told-me-to' mentality, and any extra requests from guests are seen as an inconvenience.
I really liked the breakfast buffet where many of the attendants were older, creating a very harmonious atmosphere, like being cared for by parents while away from home. The breakfast selection was extensive. There are two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Cat petting costs 19.9 for children and 29.9 for adults, with single entry and unlimited time. Feeding animals costs 10 yuan, which includes one portion of feed. **However, if you write a good review for 1 yuan, you get fewer carrots than the 10 yuan portion. The animals seemed a bit pathetic, with the little horse constantly kicking the wire fence.** There are two swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor.
The buffet at the 1928 Beer Bar is more Western-style. Many people might not be used to it. We tried it, and the quality of the desserts was excellent!
There's a beach right behind the hotel, with some rocks, but not too many. You can go tide pooling in the early morning and at night. It's too hot during the day due to strong sun, and there isn't much seafood to find then either.
The package included access to the Haiquanwan Hot Springs, but I must mention: it was dirty. There were no tissues or disposable combs in the hair-drying area (only a few scattered combs for everyone to share). With this level of service, I won't be returning.
The hotel's location is indeed a bit remote, making it suitable for self-driving. There's a Shandong University cafeteria and museum nearby, which I'd give five stars!

We arrived with quite a lot of luggage, and the moment we stepped into the lobby, the front desk staff noticed. Their tone was exceptionally warm and genuine, not sounding like rehearsed script at all. The check-in process was well-organized; they proactively informed us about breakfast times and hotel amenities, and even shared some handy local travel tips. It was all very thoughtful.
Throughout our stay, whenever we had questions, the staff would attentively listen to the end before responding. Whenever we needed to coordinate with other departments, the front desk took care of liaising and following up, sparing us from running around or making calls back and forth, which saved us so much hassle. Even when the lobby was busy and crowded, the team remained calm and methodical without showing any impatience, maintaining a consistently wonderful attitude.
Check-out was equally smooth and fast. They casually asked about our stay and genuinely wanted to hear our honest feedback. The service from housekeeping and other departments was also top-notch; every employee we passed in the hallways greeted us politely. As the very first point of contact upon entering, the front desk truly demonstrated that they have the guests' best interests at heart, anticipating needs before they even arise. The entire stay was carefree and deeply comfortable. Highly recommended, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!

Guest UserThe hotel has a fantastic location, very close to the subway station, and it will be even closer once the new station exit is completed. Turn left out of the hotel and you can walk to May Fourth Square in about 10 minutes, and to the MixC mall in just over 10 minutes, making dining and shopping extremely convenient. If the weather is bad, you can even walk to the MixC underground via the subway passage. Housekeeping is top-notch; the room was very clean, and the bottled water and minibar setup were well-equipped. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and provided great service. The family room we stayed in was the furthest back among the side ocean-view rooms with only one window, but the ventilation was still decent. We also booked a king room, which had two windows and offered a fantastic view of the light show and the ocean. The only minor drawback of the family room was that the bathroom door faced the bed, which was slightly inconvenient.

Guest UserEvery year, I come to Qingdao for National Day to see the sea, and every year I stay at Hyatt Regency Qingdao. The hotel truly makes you feel at home. Even before check-in, they had already secured my room and arranged it according to my requests. The service is thoughtful and attentive, making my stay very comfortable and secure.
The hotel's basement provides direct access to the beach, perfect for enjoying the sea, digging in the sand, or meditating. When you're tired, you can easily return to your room to rest. It's incredibly convenient, with beautiful scenery and fewer crowds.
The room decor is elegant, the furniture is exceptionally well-maintained, the bedding is very comfortable, and the shower pressure is excellent. The breakfast spread is particularly rich with numerous choices. The hotel service is friendly, making it an excellent choice for value for money. Definitely a five-star recommendation! 👍

Guest UserDuring the National Day holiday, I stayed with my parents at the stunning Qingdao May Fourth Square Sea View Hotel, and the experience was absolutely top-notch! We booked a twin room, which was clean, tidy, and featured comfortable bedding—my parents were extremely satisfied. The biggest highlight was the unlimited complimentary bottled water provided by the hotel (available right next to the elevators), so even if you forget to grab a bottle, you don't have to make a special trip back to the room. This thoughtful touch is just so considerate for elderly guests! The location is also prime, making it super convenient to walk over to May Fourth Square for the light show. Overall, the service was warm, attentive, and flawless in every detail. Our whole family had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Qingdao. We will definitely be back next time!

Coming to Qingdao for National Day, we stayed at the Haitian Hotel for four days and three nights. We booked a twin room with a partial sea view. I didn't have specific floor requests, and even on the 9th floor, we still had a sea view. The room was well-equipped, and supplies were replenished very quickly. It was very quiet during rest periods, which gets full marks. The breakfast was also very abundant. In terms of transportation, we took taxis everywhere, as it's a bit far from the subway station. Crucially, Xiao Shang was also very responsible, checking in daily to see if we needed anything. Our child was over 120cm, so breakfast was originally going to be charged, but Xiao Shang promptly helped me resolve this issue. Overall, we are very satisfied with the Haitian Hotel.

Guest UserThe hotel is extremely luxurious and designed beautifully. But the service is TERRİBLE. No one speaks english… there is no food available for room service. İ wanted to drink a beer and they told me to go to the supermarket.
İ wanted to order room service after 20.30 they told me no english and hung up on my face. After 10 mins 2 people came to my room telling me they dont have room service, after 20.30 even though the menu said 24 hours.
The next day i tried to order at 16.00 and they told me it starts at 18.30…
the design and the quality of the hotel is maybe the best ive seen in my life but the service is 0/10 … no cola to drink no food to eat .. i would not reccomend if you want to spend a lot of time in it.

Guest UserAmazing sea view, and the soundproofing is excellent! My friend was in the next room and snores incredibly loudly, but I couldn't hear a thing. Most importantly, the service attitude is exceptional: from check-in, check-out, to breakfast, all the hotel staff were incredibly warm and friendly. They never gave the impression of being dismissive due to a large number of guests. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.
