"I stayed at the Kempinski Yinchuan for two consecutive nights, and overall, it was a very solid experience – the kind of comfortable stay where nothing goes wrong, and you even get a few pleasant surprises.
The location is genuinely convenient. Just cross the road to your right, and you're at the Ningxia Museum. It was perfect for a stroll and then coming back to relax.
The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm. I slept soundly both nights. Service was prompt too; whether I needed water or something delivered, there was no delay.
The breakfast bread station really impressed me. Both the croissants and the whole wheat toast were perfectly baked – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Paired with a black coffee, it was simply delightful.
It's not over-the-top, and there's nothing to complain about. It's the kind of reliable choice where you think, 'I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit.'"

"The campground is inside the Impression Tengger Scenic Area. There are campgrounds all around (I checked and found that almost all the ones offering free Tengger tickets are located nearby). Sandstorm offers the best value. 😁 The service was excellent. Mr. Li contacted me right after booking to confirm how to get to the campground. (If you drive, you can only reach the scenic area entrance; it's all desert inside and you have to change cars. There's no guide, and you don't know the way. 😂) Tengger activities are right next to it.
The hotel has a bonfire, iron flower making, fireworks, and a karaoke bar. It's all quite lively. After 5 or 6, when the sun isn't so strong, it's wonderful to walk along the sand dunes for two or three hours. It's refreshing and you can even watch the sunset. The shared bathrooms are also quite spacious, with lockers and benches for storing clothes. A tip for you ladies: wash and change into your regular shoes before returning to your tent (you'll still get sandy if you wear slippers. 😂)
It rained this time, so unfortunately I couldn't see the stars, but it was a special experience. Even with the strong wind and heavy rain, sand didn't get into the tent, which was great. 😀"

"This Mercure hotel by Donghu Lake is amazing! The lakeside scenery is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are well-equipped and clean, with 24-hour AC and hot water. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows let you watch the starry sky and sunrise without even leaving your room. The terrace also has a great vibe and is perfect for photos. The bonfire, fireworks, and firework show add a touch of romance. The service is attentive and thoughtful; the butler was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues. "Super satisfied hotel, and very convenient, the attractions in the city are basically within 5 kilometers, the farthest indoor attractions may be because of the Lanshan Park, almost 10 kilometers, but the hotel parking, charging piles are all available. Because the flight was cancelled for one more night, the front desk pony and Odita were super warm. Seeing my name, I put it on the same floor with my friend. Wang Tiemei, Zhao Haitao and Master Tian of the back kitchen are familiar with the living. When you roll the plate and eggs, you will take the initiative to take the bowl to pick it up. The hygiene is extremely satisfactory. The facilities and equipment are very new. I don’t know which aunt is responsible for the laundry room. When you are in a hurry to go out, please help with the drying clothes - please get the room, folded neatly."

The hotel is large, has many rooms, and is actually full. Business is very good. This is inseparable from the hotel's location, service and price!
The location is perfect: the hotel is located in the city center, 600 to 700 meters away from Wanda Plaza. There is a fruit supermarket next to it. The ”Yisheng Shou” where you can eat hand-made sheep is only 100 meters away... In short, it is very convenient to eat and order takeout.
Attentive service: Call the front desk and the problem can be solved immediately. The room cleaning staff cleaned up the leftovers from our morning meal as soon as they arrived at work at 8:30 in the morning.

A few staff spoke good English and really helped this non-mandarin speaking guest a lot, especially to call taxis. The housekeeper on my level was also very sweet and friendly and efficient. Would happily stay there again.

The room was very comfortable and well-maintained throughout our visit . A special highlight was the breakfast—it was very varied and changed every day, which was a real treat during such a long stay.

JiangmiyeyeI was looking for a hotel that would be comfortable for introverts – a place where I could relax, enjoy the scenery, people-watch, observe the wind, birds, and insects, with minimal interaction but genuine service, and quick responses when needed. serendipitously, I found it this time.
A few days before check-in, the housekeeper set up a WeChat group to inquire about our arrival method and dining reservations. After check-in, we received reminders and activity notifications. Before bed, we got a night reminder and the on-duty staff's phone number. Throughout, there was no unnecessary chatter or disturbance, and face-to-face interactions were warm and sincere.
Upon entering the manor, the May grapevines were still slowly growing, and all I saw was a vast expanse of loess. However, stepping into the lobby, the contrast was striking – an indoor tropical garden! Staghorn ferns, banana trees, vines, orchids, and other plants thrived beautifully; some banana trees even bore fruit. The restaurant on the second floor offered a panoramic view of the Helan Mountains, with the side profile of the Reclining Buddha clearly visible. If the weather was good, we could enjoy the sunset from the restaurant, watching the sun slowly disappear behind the mountains, painting the sky with brilliant hues.
While the accommodation already met my expectations, the restaurant's delicious food was truly a pleasant surprise. Perhaps it's my stereotype, but I've always felt that guesthouse restaurants tend to be a bit pricey and the food generally mediocre. Who would have thought that the dinner was so good that my family and I decided to book lunch for the next day before we even finished eating? For dinner, we ordered stewed lamb from Yanchi, scrambled eggs with sand onion, and 'tangmian youxiang' (half portion). For lunch the next day: 'chuanzui' carp, fragrant goji berry shoots, and lamb buns or dumplings? Oh, I forgot… The taste was on par with, or even surpassed, well-known old restaurants in the city. (Two dishes and one staple were more than enough for two people – I was stuffed! Order moderately, don't be as gluttonous as me!)
Finally, a big thank you to our housekeeper Niu Niu, store manager Li Yang, and the other staff members. Niu Niu was always enthusiastic and polite in all our interactions, always greeting us with a smile. Store manager Li Yang provided detailed explanations during the evening wine tasting, ensuring everyone felt included (even us in the corner, hahaha!). And to the other young people whose names I can't recall but whose brief encounters left an impression: the girl who led us on the cellar tour; the clear-eyed young man who diligently used a lint roller to pick up stray hairs in each room; and the curly-haired guy who effortlessly lifted our luggage when we got out of the car. Also, the sisters in the restaurant – every single person made me feel genuinely welcome, polite, and never intrusive. I'm already looking forward to my next visit with friends for a longer stay!

Guest UserMy recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Zhongwei was a delightful surprise! Amy Yumi, the front desk attendant, greeted me with such a warm smile, and Coco had me checked in within three minutes. They even upgraded me to a larger room for free, which was spacious and bright, and came with a complimentary fruit platter. The bathroom's separate wet and dry areas were a thoughtful touch, and the Hilton-standard cleanliness put me completely at ease.
The breakfast buffet offered local specialties like the incredibly flavorful and chewy Aocai noodles. The self-service coffee machine made a latte that was just as good as anything you'd get at a cafe! The location was super convenient too; it took less than half an hour by taxi to get to the Shapotou Scenic Area. In the evenings, I could unwind at the gym.
The free laundry room was a lifesaver for travelers needing to refresh their clothes, and the printer in the lobby's business center was free to use. I even discovered that the room's power outlets had built-in USB ports!
I've already recommended this hotel to all my friends planning a trip to Zhongwei. Whether for a business trip or a desert adventure, it's the perfect choice!

The room is clean - dust free, water pressure is great for cold n hot water. The mini fridge is also good. The buttons and hair dryer in the room are all in working condition. The handwash, shampoo, body wash smells great! Many local food are around this location. It’s a great stay at Crystal Orange Hotel 👍

1. **Stunning Desert Landscape:** The vast desert at dusk, watching the magnificent sunset, was breathtakingly beautiful.
2. **Excellent Entertainment Facilities:** Our room opened right onto the desert, and the hotel provided various toys for children. A single sandboard kept my child entertained with sand sliding all afternoon.
3. **Shapotou Scenic Area Tickets:** We received complimentary transport to the desert area, where we could either play or take a shuttle bus to the Yellow River area.
4. **Impressive Dining:** The dinner buffet with individual hot pots offered a wide variety of ingredients, leaving us feeling very satisfied. Breakfast was also above average, and there was even a complimentary late-night snack service.
5. **Other Amenities:** In the evenings, there were small concerts and stargazing classes.
