Great location, but the hotel itself is a bit dated. The facilities aren't as new as some other hotels. However, the service is absolutely top-notch! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and kind to my kids. We even received a welcome gift upon check-in – some delicious small cookies from Macau's famous Koi Kei Bakery, which my children loved. The 6th-floor indoor heated pool is a nice bonus, though the changing rooms were a bit messy. Not a big deal since we could just go back to our room to change. There are plenty of dining options nearby, so no need to stick to the hotel breakfast. The dim sum at the 55th-floor restaurant is excellent. While it's a bit far from the popular internet-famous spots, the surrounding area is perfect for a leisurely stroll, with lots of charming little shops and cafes for afternoon tea. It has a chic, boutique vibe. Five-star recommendation!

The Shangri-La Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Shenzhen Railway Station and Luohu Port, making it visible as soon as you exit the station. This is incredibly convenient for travel between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. With Metro Line 9 and bus stops right downstairs, getting around the city is a breeze. As a well-established five-star hotel, the service is top-notch, and the rooms are clean, hygienic, and free of any unpleasant odors. The shower pressure is just right, perfect for washing away travel fatigue.

This is my third consecutive year running the Jiangmen Marathon, and my third consecutive year staying at this hotel. It's incredibly close to the starting line; you can practically check in right at the hotel entrance. The service is exceptional, even the cleaning staff are incredibly polite. The buffet dinner was fantastic, and they even offered breakfast before 6 AM on race day. For us marathon runners, this is an absolutely perfect experience and definitely the best choice for the Jiangmen Marathon!

This hotel is located along the Jiulong River, directly opposite Zhangzhou Old City. It offers the charm of the ancient city's lively atmosphere while keeping a comfortable distance from its bustling crowds. From the moment I arrived, I felt the staff's dedication to guest care. The bellhop brought all my luggage to the room, and the front desk thoughtfully upgraded my room type. The hotel's breakfast, in particular, felt just like being at home. Cai Chunhua from the Chinese restaurant enthusiastically introduced local delicacies like Shima Wuxiangjuan (five-spice rolls) and Liuao sweet potatoes, patiently bringing each one to my table. This allowed guests not only to savor unique local flavors but also to gain knowledge about the cuisine, making for a truly enriching experience.

The hygiene was excellent, and the service was very attentive. I usually bring disposable bedding when I travel, but I didn't need it this time – I checked and everything was spotless. The hotel has a lot of unique features. There's a lawn on the 11th-floor lobby and a forest in the 58th-floor restaurant. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of international dishes. The baked goods were particularly outstanding.

Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, close to Gongbei Port. You can walk to both the port and the high-speed rail station. The breakfast offers a great variety and tastes good. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's also a short walk to Xiaguan Night Market. The room was clean, and the service was warm and friendly. Cons: The room size is small, and there's no wardrobe, only a very small clothes hanger (this seems to be a common issue with hotels near Gongbei Port). The room lighting has only one master switch, meaning lights can't be controlled individually, and there's no motion-sensor night light. Turning on the lights at night would disturb anyone else in the room. The key card sensor had issues, which affected the check-in experience: upon arrival, the bathroom lights would flicker on and off irregularly. I called the front desk to report it, and they suggested reinserting the key card, which didn't work. A staff member came to the room and said the key card sensor was faulty and that the card was too thin, so it needed to be inserted with the room key. Although the service throughout was good, poor hardware and unresolved issues shouldn't be the standard for a Holiday Inn Express.

The welcome coffee offered by the hotel can be redeemed for a latte, Americano, or hot milk. The room style is quite new and unique, and there's a subway station downstairs, making it convenient for getting around. They even gave us a free room upgrade. The service was very thoughtful. Happy Hour (Cocktails): The cocktails were great. Exclusive Double [Coffee] Special Coffee Drink Voucher: The Americano was good. I would definitely book this place again next time.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. From the time of check-in they gave us 2 apples in a christmas bag as it is christmas eve. We had a non-smoking room, but when we get in the room, i can smell a hint of cigarette, called up the front desk. They immediately upgraded us to a new room with a view. Sally sent some fruits by robot which is very sweet. The room is very clean with huge bathroom and very clean. My only complain is the body wash, shampoo dispenser is very hard to press, hopefully they can improve it to sensor dispenser or the press type. Bottled water and soda everyday and can even ask for more bottled water, so we dont need to buy anymore. The location is very convenient, the YANNAN station exit C is just beside the hotel. There are so many restaurants to choose from across the street and beside the hotel. The breakfast has many delicious choices, continental bfast and chinese food. In the afternoon, lobby has popcorn and drinks. They also have tea time with lots of pastries but we didnt try. At night they have porridge also. The hotel has self service laundry with iron on the 28th floor which you can monitor in your room which is very convenienrlt Front destk Sally, Tina and Nacy are very helpful which make our stay very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to my famuly and friends.

We love the apartment! It is tastefully decorated and the Daily housekeeping is excellent!! They even kept and return the power bank which we accidentally left behind. Delivery food is sent to our room by a robot, human staff are all approachable and helpful. Only gripe is the traffic outside the hotel is a bit chaotic and dangerous (maybe for foreigners like us).
