I blindly picked this hotel for my trip and it turned out to be an absolute hidden gem – what a pleasant surprise!
As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that let in so much natural light. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was bright and fresh, making for a truly relaxing stay. The service throughout was impeccable. Jingjing was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, always ready to help with a gentle and thoughtful demeanor that made me feel right at home.
The hotel's facilities and equipment are all new and comprehensive, making for a fantastic experience. The Italian restaurant served authentic and delicious dishes, and the breakfast was hearty and satisfying. The bar had an amazing ambiance, perfect for a relaxing drink. The exquisite afternoon tea at the 'Le Bar' was both beautiful and delicious, offering a leisurely and delightful experience. And the SPA provided professional treatments that were truly effective in relieving fatigue.
This stay completely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

I was really impressed by the hotel's attention to detail after checking in. Everything in the room was well-maintained and easy to use. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless. The atmosphere was quiet and refined, cleanliness was exceptional, and the facilities were comprehensive and practical – meeting all my daily needs. The service was also excellent. Overall, my experience exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend it.
Booked two river view rooms. One was upgraded to a Guangji Bridge river view room, and the other offered views of an ancient pagoda on the other side. The rooms are very spacious, and the flower arrangements in the public areas are fantastic. You absolutely must try the hotel's breakfast buffet! There are four live cooking stations: various cheung fun (rice noodle rolls), kway teow/noodles, Chaoshan porridge, and Western-style omelets. The Cantonese dim sum selection is also extensive, with many different Chaozhou kway (dumplings/cakes) – they were delicious! A special thank you to Belle for her excellent service; she helped check my InterContinental membership, which allowed us to enjoy the in-room minibar for free.

Facilities: Quite complete and well-maintained. They promptly replaced the charging cable and delivered a working one to my room.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy. The housekeepers did a great job cleaning and were very proactive in refilling water and towels.
Environment: The location is excellent. There are many great restaurants nearby, and it's close to a shopping mall. Everything from dining to entertainment is convenient.
Service: The front desk staff was very friendly. Special thanks to Xia Tian for the delicious souvenir!
Jessica, the manager, deserves a five-star review! She was incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in, and even offered practical tips on local attractions and restaurants. The room itself was spacious with a great view, and being south-facing, it got lovely sunlight in the afternoon, perfect for relaxing. Inside, it was spotlessly clean with comfortable bedding and good soundproofing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options, and hot dishes were replenished promptly. Overall, the service, facilities, and dining were all top-notch and great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

I was looking to relive the nostalgia of Zhongshan International Hotel from 32 years ago, but it turned out to be the only disappointment of my accommodation during this Guangdong trip. I know a 40-year-old hotel shouldn't be expected to be perfect, and I can accept outdated facilities, but they should at least be functional, right? I specifically paid extra for a newly renovated room, only to find that one of the bedside charging sockets didn't work. They said they'd send someone to fix it, and after waiting 20 minutes, the front desk called to ask if I had requested a room change? The tone was quite abrupt. After agreeing to switch rooms, I was told to go downstairs to process the change. Once I did, I found the new room was old and not in the same category as the one I had paid extra for. Switching rooms again was quite frustrating. I hope they improve their service training. As the number one hotel in Zhongshan over 30 years ago, they shouldn't just rest on their laurels and stop striving for improvement.

I've stayed here a few times and it's always great! The location is super convenient, really close to the subway and electronic shopping districts, making it so easy to get around and go shopping. Sundy's service was also excellent, and the lobby even had a check-in activity where they gave out gifts! The rooms are clean and comfortable too. It's a solid choice for both business travelers and families, definitely a five-star review from me!

Irene from Guest Relations called ahead to ask about my room preferences and even added me on WeChat, so I could contact her anytime with requests. She replied quickly even at 9 or 10 at night, for which I'm very grateful.
The hotel faces the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and is a 15-20 minute walk from Gongbei Port. There's a convenience store downstairs, and popular restaurants like Jin Yue Xuan and Xie Cheng Seafood Hotpot are nearby.
My personal pet peeve: I can accept a hotel not having a smart toilet, but no soft-close lid is just something I can't understand.

My stay at Le Méridien Huizhou Xiaojing Bay was actually pretty good. I saw a lot of negative reviews and was hesitant about coming, but I decided to give it a try in the end. After all, nothing is perfect, and I wanted to experience it for myself.
I chose to check in before the holiday to avoid the crowds, so the hotel wasn't at full capacity that day. They proactively upgraded my room and, during check-in, provided a detailed introduction to the fire dance performance and essential room and hotel information.
Regarding the room, I stayed on the west side, near the pool and greenway. The sea view was fantastic. I saw many people debating whether the sea view was 180 degrees, even complaining and giving bad reviews over it. I honestly find that hard to understand. A vacation is about relaxing, enjoying the comfort and tranquility of the seaside, not obsessing over angles. The view was already spacious enough. Do you really need to be in the middle of the sea for it to be perfect, haha? The room was a bit humid, but I accepted it. If you choose to stay by the sea, you have to accept that with the current weather in Guangdong, it's like that everywhere, especially by the sea.
The hotel staff were very friendly; everyone greeted me. Even the cleaning aunties said hello.
Right outside the hotel is a commercial street that can meet basic needs, and the greenway is within walking distance – an excellent choice for a walk or bike ride 🚴♀️ in the morning or after dinner.
Overall, the experience was quite good, not as exaggerated as many reviews suggested. Perhaps it's because I didn't go on a weekend or a holiday. Travel experiences are inherently personal, and only by feeling the sea breeze and sunshine can you create your own beautiful memories.

The weather in Huizhou has been fantastic lately, so I specifically chose to stay at the Langman Hotel. The location is excellent, right in Shuizhong Street, with plenty of food and entertainment downstairs. It's also very close to West Lake, and there are some old, renowned eateries nearby, perfect for an early morning food hunt. The hotel itself has a great environment, spacious rooms, and a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Huizhou!

XXianJennifer0510If you're looking for amazing views, you absolutely have to book this place – it's so high up! The scenery from the 41st floor is just breathtaking!!! The room size is also decent! It's a bit bigger than other City Notes. I could open two large suitcases and two small ones, plus there's a cozy little space with a table and chairs by the window for eating! The biggest perks of City Note: breakfast, free afternoon tea, and free late-night snacks, especially your fruit! I loved it! There's a washing machine, dryer, a very new and beautiful gym, a fridge (with free drinks), unlimited coffee, tea, and water, and even birthday decorations + cake service! The staff were also very proactive in helping us with all our questions. The Southern Vietnam Museum is right next door! There are lots of tourist attractions and great food nearby! The front desk will introduce them all to you, don't worry! The bustling Beijing Road is right across the street! It's really convenient! If you love scenic views, you definitely need to choose this branch! This is my second time staying at a City Note in China. Thank you for letting us check out late at 2 PM! And for the complimentary small gift! Thank you! We had such a happy trip. There's a parcel collection service here, so you can rest assured your packages won't go missing (they have a storage room). You can also store your luggage, and there's a public restroom and sofa. **For food delivery, from Monday to Friday, you'll need to go downstairs to pick it up before 6 PM; after 6 PM, they'll deliver it upstairs (remember to make a note). On weekends, the delivery service is available all day to the 41st-floor reception.

GGuest UserI've gotten so used to the environment, service, and the perfectly balanced politeness and warmth here, that it's hard for me to risk choosing another hotel. My boss wouldn't be happy! My favorite is the complimentary white fungus soup upon arrival!
Regarding dining, I hope the breakfast menu could have some variety daily. Also, it would be great if they could add some of the cakes from the dinner buffet. No matter how good the breakfast is, having the same thing for three to five days straight gets tiring.
For the spa, the aesthetician's technique was excellent and very gentle. However, for nearly 3000, if no equipment is used, wouldn't the absorption be slightly less effective?
Finally, the price has gone up from around 2800 to 3500. I'm a bit worried if it will break through 4000 one day, because then it would truly be unaffordable for me.

GGuest UserThe room view was impeccable, and the facilities were up to standard.
Complaint 1: The parking lot is shared with K11, and it's very narrow and messy. It took me ages to find the hotel entrance, and there was no one to guide me, not even at the hotel entrance.
Complaint 2: The hotel corridors are a bit creepy, winding and dimly lit.
Complaint 3: At 11 PM, just as I was about to fall asleep, I was startled awake by the sound of a door closing next door. At 2 AM, I was woken up by noise in the hallway. At 4 AM, I was startled awake by some rustling sound outside my door... In short, the soundproofing is terrible.
Complaint 4: The pillows were as soft as clouds, offering no support whatsoever. I had to pile four of them up to use.

GGuest UserMy stay here far exceeded expectations, and the housekeeping service was truly impeccable! Every day, I'd return to a completely refreshed room—spotless floors and all surfaces meticulously wiped clean. What touched me most was the thoughtful service: not only were all amenities replenished, but even my casually placed clothes and laptop cables were neatly tidied up. They managed to maintain tidiness without disturbing my personal items at all. This level of meticulous observation and proactive service genuinely made me feel respected and cared for. A huge thank you to the staff for making my short stay feel as comfortable and reassuring as being at home. Absolutely highly recommended!

XXianger007The room was very spacious, with three separate areas. One of the windows offered an expansive view. Basic toiletries were provided, and there was plenty of hot water. It's about a 10-minute drive from Zhujiang New Town, and there's a paid parking lot available. Transportation was convenient.

GGuest UserThe location of Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel is truly unbeatable. It was a quick taxi ride from Zhuhai Airport, and it's very close to Hengqin Port. For families, the shuttle to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom only takes a few minutes. Nearby, there's Mangzhou Wetland Park with fresh air, and the Flower Sea Corridor, which is lovely for an evening stroll. Macau Legend Palace is within walking distance, offering dining, shopping, and movies. Plus, there's a 24-hour convenience store for snacks and drinks. The hotel exterior resembles a grand European castle, quite impressive. However, stepping into the lobby, it feels elegantly vintage and opulent – overall, very tasteful. The room isn't huge but is warmly decorated. The bedding is clean, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet with great water pressure. The hotel Wi-Fi is fast, perfect for streaming videos without lag. The parking lot is spacious and free, with security guards directing traffic. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it offers convenient transportation, an elegant environment, and is family-friendly. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
MMagnus HsuA relaxing resort that's about 30-40 minutes drive from downtown Zhuhai. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Pool facilities are good. We had the breakfast buffet and it had a good, high quality selection of Chinese and Western food. Note that because it is a bit far from the city area, the food selection nearby is limited and a 15-20 minutes DIDI ride is thus required. The beach is small and not in the best condition so I wouldn't consider the beach a highlight.

GGuest UserPoor value for money. For a 500-a-night hotel, the facilities are very ordinary.
1. The view from the window was blocked by signs and air conditioning units, completely obscured and covered in trash. We had to ask the front desk to move us to the 10th floor to get a more open view, although it was still facing dilapidated buildings and completely different from the photos.
2. The fridge wasn't plugged in, and there was no clear indication. We only realized it wasn't plugged in after leaving a cake in it overnight. We then found a notice tucked into a gap in the table saying to save electricity, so the fridge is unplugged by default.
3. The 8th floor had a strong smell of disinfectant.
4. Inconvenient transportation. While not far from the subway station as the crow flies, it's not a short walk. No ride-hailing cars would accept our requests, so we ended up having to take the bus.
5. The shampoo was terrible; my hair felt like I'd washed it with soapy water afterwards.
