This hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. As a Hyatt brand, its taste and quality are definitely on point. The decor is warm and stylish, and the front desk offers complimentary welcome fruits and a 24-hour self-service tea station. The room itself is very comfortable, and I have to praise the pillows – they're incredibly soft. Plus, there are free snacks and drinks (Coke and Sprite) in the room. Overall, highly recommended!

I can't believe I found such a great hotel for this price! I was just looking for a temporary stopover and didn't have high expectations, but my stay far exceeded them. The room was incredibly clean, the sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed with no strange smells, and the bathroom was also spotless with plenty of hot water, making for a really comfortable shower. Although the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed and fully equipped. The TV and heating worked perfectly; even with Beijing's sub-zero temperatures, the room was wonderfully warm. Downstairs is Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, with lots of snack bars and convenience stores, making dining and shopping very convenient. The front desk staff were super friendly and always quick to resolve any issues. For students or those on a budget, this hotel is definitely the top choice – incredible value for money!

“A hutong represents half of China.” I never expected to find such a hidden gem of a hotel in Shijia Hutong. I initially thought hutongs would only have old buildings and was worried the photos might be misleading. But when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel’s style quite modern! I loved the window next to the bed; I could soak in the rare winter sun while gazing at the hutong – it was incredibly relaxing. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and a heated towel rack, which, as someone from the south, I absolutely adored! 😂 The hotel also has a terrace, but it was closed, probably due to the cold winter weather. I can imagine it would be fantastic in the summer.

This stay was a last-minute decision because my flight was cancelled that night. We're not familiar with Beijing at all and it was so late, we didn't know which hotel to choose. Luckily, I've always liked the HUAZHU brand, and I figured it wouldn't disappoint. The overall experience after checking in was excellent! First, the service was incredibly thoughtful. From my initial phone call to checking in at the front desk, the staff were all very enthusiastic and efficient. Second, although the room was small, the facilities were very new, with plenty of power outlets and ports. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. I particularly loved the 'hand hand' wooden smoky-scented toiletries. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent. Additionally, the hotel's location is very convenient, especially for an overnight layover. It's right by the Airport Express and Sanyuanqiao subway station, just about 200 meters from the exit. There's also a large shopping center, Phoenix City, nearby with many high-quality restaurants. The only minor issue might be that the heating was a bit too high and couldn't be adjusted down. But considering the city, location, convenience, and both soft and hard amenities, I can easily give it 5 stars! Highly recommended!

I chose the Beijing Fortune Hotel for my trip. It's on Yabao Road, only a 5-minute walk from Ritan Park, and just across the street from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It's conveniently located between Jianguomen and Chaoyangmen subway stations, making it super easy to get around. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with a very grand and artistic vibe. From my city-view room, I could overlook the Guomao business district, and the views were fantastic. Breakfast was amazing – I just couldn't stop eating! The only slight downside was the soundproofing, which wasn't great, but it quieted down a lot after 11 PM, so I'd still say it was a perfect stay overall.

The service is warm and thoughtful: check-in was efficient, the staff were polite and professional, and they readily attended to every request. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, providing a quiet and relaxing stay. Attention to detail is evident, with quality amenities, making for a consistently pleasant experience. The Hard Rock Restaurant and its cuisine are equally impressive. The dining space itself feels like an art gallery, with an elegant ambiance and comfortable atmosphere. The food is delicious, with a rich selection for breakfast, and the dinner quality is absolutely on par with a top-notch professional Western restaurant. Dining amidst art, it offers both a sense of occasion and excellent taste. The biggest surprise was the Oku Museum of Art + Yingjie Hard Rock Art Museum. The collection is rich and well-curated, showcasing a blend of Eastern and Western art. The stone paintings, sculptures, and oil paintings are all captivating. You don't have to travel far to quietly enjoy the exhibits and effortlessly get great photos – it's incredibly friendly to art lovers. The location is in the Sanlitun embassy district, offering a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle, with convenient access to transportation. Staying here isn't just about lodging; it's a complete artistic lifestyle experience. Highly recommended for all friends who love art, and seek quality and atmosphere – a must-stay with no regrets!

Choosing Renaissance for my Beijing trip was the best decision! It's so convenient for getting around. The single bed in the standard room was incredibly spacious, and the shower had great water pressure – very comfortable. The room was clean, and I especially loved interacting with Luna, a front desk staff member from Inner Mongolia. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The new complimentary afternoon tea set was beautiful; hopefully, the taste can be improved next time. The breakfast environment is good, but I wish they'd add more high-quality options in the future. Next time, I'd love to stay in a room with a view of the Forbidden City. The view from the 17th-floor corridor was absolutely amazing!

I stayed in Beijing for a few days, and this hotel was so comfortable I didn't even want to leave! 🤖 **Xiao Du Smart System is super convenient** The room is equipped with Xiao Du smart control, so I could turn on/off lights, open/close curtains, and adjust the air conditioning all by voice command. It's truly a godsend for lazy people like me! Just lie in bed and speak to get everything done – super high-tech! 🛎️ **Service is incredibly thoughtful** I stayed for several nights, and the room was cleaned every day. It was always tidy when I came back. The front desk can also receive packages for you, so I could have my online purchases delivered directly to the hotel and take them with me when I checked out. Perfect for sisters who love online shopping! 🧹 **Clean and comfortable** The room was meticulously cleaned and spotless, which made me feel very at ease. The space was also quite generous; I had no problem laying out my suitcase. 🛒 **Convenient location** There's a convenience store right across the street, so buying water and snacks was just a short walk away. There are also many restaurants and small eateries nearby, so finding food was never an issue, and getting around was convenient. In short, this hotel is the kind that's worry-free, comfortable, and offers a pleasant surprise or two.

The hotel felt very safe which was nice as a solo female traveler, although my experience in China as a whole has felt safe. I like that you can only access your floor if you have a room key for the given floor. Also, the large open concept makes all doors to rooms visible from any given point which also makes it feel safe. Doormen to open all doors in the lobby area which is really nice and they bring your luggage to the room. The hotel slippers are the BEST I’ve ever used, not like regular hotel slippers. Ai soft and comfortable. One thing I didn’t like was the large deposit (around $300USD) they needed for the room upon arrival, but it was fine. I’m just not used to that in China. The only downside is that some things need updating…you can tell the hotel is pretty old and with time, a hotel room can only feel so clean. Overall it was as clean as possible given it looks like it’s been a while since they have renovated. Still super clean I’m just picky! I would definitely stay here again. If you want a true “Chinese feel” while staying in Beijing this won’t be the place, but as someone living in China wanting a different feel, it was great. It felt as though I was in Europe somewhere. The concierge spoke English and were always helpful and attentive. The power outlets are older but they provided adapters. The bedside adapter was great, but the other ones in the common area and bathroom i would not use again. I plugged in my smart ring charger in the bathroom and it shorted and shocked me when touching the opposite end of the charger away from the outlet. My hand felt tingly for a few minutes but went away and I was fine. Overall my experience was very positive. I think if they did some minor renovations to modernize a bit, this hotel would be perfect.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Grand Millennium Beijing for two weeks, and overall, it was decent. The only standout positive was the two housekeeping ladies; they were absolutely amazing. For the last eleven days of my stay, 'Zhao Juanjuan' was my attendant, and she was incredibly thorough and attentive. She folded my clothes neatly every time. She remembered all my habits and room preferences, diligently helping me each day with my requests. She even helped air out cigarette smells, opened and closed windows according to my schedule, dealt with strange odors from the bathroom drain, and scrubbed the bathtub daily. Basically, she was always responsive to my needs, incredibly kind, and always enthusiastic to help. If I ever return to the Grand Millennium Beijing, I'd specifically want to stay on the floor she services. However, the hotel's policy on food delivery was frustrating. They wouldn't allow any deliveries to be left at the concierge, not even non-food items. It was really annoying. They only permit deliveries to be left in outdoor lockers, which means in winter, all your food gets cold. What's more, they have staff dedicated solely to pressing elevator buttons, so why can't they assign someone to bring deliveries up? There are no robots either, which was a real pain. I put up with it because I could see the 'Big Trousers' (CCTV Headquarters) from the lobby downstairs. Also, there was a persistent cigarette smell throughout the room, even in the bathroom. Another issue is that the hotel's decor is quite dated. There was a sewage-like smell from the sink, which made me want to gag while brushing my teeth in the morning. Everything else was fine. If you're looking for a newer hotel at a similar price, you could try the NUO Hotel Beijing or the Jing Guang Centre Hotel. But if you want to stay near the 'Big Trousers,' then the Millennium or Rosewood are your best bets.

GGuest UserLast year, for National Day, I chose the Wanda Vista Hotel in Beijing and was thoroughly impressed by its luxury and warm service. I immediately decided it would be my go-to hotel for all future visits to Beijing. This time was just as excellent as before. The location is superb, making dining convenient, and transportation to various attractions is a breeze. It's just a few minutes' walk to Dawanglu subway station. The breakfast features fresh ingredients, a wide variety of options, and delicious flavors. Highly recommended!

YYudan56We chose the 'Little Yellow Duck' themed family room, and my daughter absolutely adored it when we entered – it was just too cute and had a wonderful atmosphere! The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the subway station, and within walking distance to attractions like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The service was excellent, truly excellent. The downstairs 'Siji Minfu' Peking Duck restaurant is a famous Beijing eatery, usually with a wait time of over three hours. The hotel staff thoughtfully reminded us to get a ticket in advance. After spending the day sightseeing, I asked the staff to help me get a ticket, and they managed to get one three hours early – fantastic! On top of that, my knees were a bit sore from all the walking at the Forbidden City, so I asked the hotel for ice to compress them. They even went to a bubble tea shop to get a big bag of ice, huffing and puffing as they brought it up – truly above and beyond! Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose the Manxin Hotel Tian'anmen Wangfujing again.

JJieximeimeiThe quadrangle courtyard room was a really interesting experience, especially being in the hutong. It would have been even more convenient if we didn't need the shuttle bus, but that's probably only an issue in winter. The decor and facilities were decent, but the service was exceptionally good, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The staff were always ready to help, responding to messages in the group chat and solving problems at any time. A special thank you to our housekeepers, Melody and Vicky – they made us feel so welcome. Since we were traveling with our child, they even upgraded our room to a connected one, which made it much easier to look after the little one. Our kid absolutely loved it! 👍 During New Year's, there were special and very fun activities in the Ten Alleys. The New Year's Eve dinner at Vicini was also delicious. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserI've been to this hotel several times for internal department meetings and team-building events, so I brought my family here for Chinese New Year. The hotel's location is super convenient, about an hour's drive from the city. The rooms are individual villas, offering a wonderful sense of harmony with nature ✌🏻, providing peace and tranquility for those busy with work. This is a five-star hotel under the international Hyatt chain, and during Chinese New Year, they were very well-staffed. Besides their consistently professional regular services, they also had thoughtfully prepared activities to celebrate the New Year and special dishes. Sunny, the lady who checked us in at the front desk, was beautiful, kind, and incredibly helpful, responding to every request with enthusiasm 😍. My family was very happy and satisfied with this short Chinese New Year trip, and we'll definitely be back when the spring flowers are in full bloom!

RRoushuwoniuThe hotel's location is excellent. Xidan Joy City is right downstairs, and there are two other shopping malls nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also just a ten-minute walk to Peking Union Medical College Hospital's international department. The breakfast quality could be improved, and I'd recommend the housekeeping department enhance their service quality – as shown in picture three, there was a foreign object left behind by the previous guest. Overall, for this price point, it's a good rating.
