Location was convenient. It's right by Tiananmen Station. A short walk from Tiananmen Square. About 30min walk to the Forbidden City and 40min walk to Jingshan Park. Very nice hotel, too bad it was under renovation and the garden was not accessible. Windows in my room were blocked by constructions so there were nothing to see. They do have a laundry room with two dryers and two washers.

Hotel staff very accommodating and very nice we highly recommend! We were a group of 3 friends and we were able to comfortably stay in this hotel for about 4-5 days close to the station by bike and about 10 mins walk on foot and to nearby convenience stores and restaurants and the hotel even has a cafe and open seating area for guests to relax and eat food if you want to order after a long day. Rooms were always cleaned so well and water bottles restocked every day too thanks to the staff for a great welcome to Beijing would definitely book again!

Location is good, although car couldn’t drive in but short walking distance to main road is fine.
Staff is friendly and helpful, recommended us to take level 1 room which is very convenient to get hot water from lobby.
Breakfast choices are limited, only grab some in the morning before start our itinerary of the day.
Hotel amenities with clothes dryer is an important factor for me to book this hotel (Per trip and hotel information, it should have clothes dryer), however we were informed the clothes dryer is spoilt after we washed the clothes, which is a minus point for me. Hope hotel can take note on this feedback.

Overall, it's pretty good! 😊 It's also convenient for getting around, quite close to Zhangzizhong Road subway station. As you walk in, there's a multi-functional area with a bar and the front desk, and the staff are all really welcoming. Then, you walk through a restaurant filled with greenery and flowers to the accommodation area in the back, which has a key card access for a good level of privacy. The room is a bit compact, haha, but since I'm here to travel, the room is just for sleeping, so it's perfectly adequate.

Excellent! Very close to Sanlitun and the environment is lovely. Great value for money, clean, and good service. The main highlight is the fantastic location – it's close to everything, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel is also very new. Overall, really good!

This was a fantastic location that I would make my go to when in Beijing. Service is excellent. Room is well planned out. Quiet and amenities are fantastic. Late night snack and comp mini fridge kept well stocked and everything is nearby you could need. I would extend my time here if there was availability. Most comfortable beds I’ve found in any hotel. Room is small but efficient in design. Totally worth it and beyond comfortable. Must stay in Beijing

The hotel is directly opposite the Beijing Children's Hospital, and the surrounding area is really pleasant. Ritan Park is also nearby, and I noticed many foreigners staying here – it felt like there were more foreigners than Chinese guests!
**Location and Transportation:** It's a bit far from the subway, more than a kilometer from Jianguomen station, but you can easily bike there. However, it's not far from Wangfujing or Guomao, so taking a taxi is more convenient.
**Room Facilities:** The rooms are loft-style. We stayed in a deluxe room and a comfort room on separate nights. The deluxe room was larger, but otherwise, there wasn't much difference. The rooms were very clean. For two women and a child, the king-size bed was spacious enough even sleeping horizontally.
**Cleanliness:** The bathroom was very clean, which I was very happy about.
**Swimming Pool:** The swimming pool and gym are on the top floor, which is very convenient. The sunroof opens on good weather days.
**Value for Money:** Hotels in Beijing during the May Day holiday are usually very expensive. The day before, my family booked a very ordinary hotel near Wangfujing for 780 RMB. So, I booked this place for the next day. Compared to its usual price, the increase wasn't too significant, so overall, it offered pretty good value for money.

The room isn't huge, and it's not a brand-new hotel, but the facilities and service are excellent. Let's start with the facilities:
1. The bedside lamps aren't directly overhead; they're adjustable, so you won't disturb anyone sleeping next to you.
2. The toilet is a Toto Washlet, and the flush is incredibly quiet. Many hotels now have smart toilets, but their flushes can be deafening, waking up everyone in the room in the middle of the night. This hotel's smart toilet is the quietest I've ever encountered, which is a huge plus.
3. The curtains are electric blackout blinds that move up and down, which I prefer because they don't collect dust easily.
4. The breakfast selection is quite extensive and very good.
5. The small garden isn't large, but it features rockeries, a waterfall, flowers, and several different types of trees, including hawthorn, apple, and even a Japanese Puxian cherry.
Now, about the service:
1. There's an AI photo booth and a claw machine on the first floor, both free. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic. If a child can't grab a doll, they'll even open the machine to adjust the doll's position, making it easier for the child to win. The photo booth generates AI photos based on your shots and chosen backgrounds, printing them out as a fridge magnet – very cool!
2. When my child was taking a bottle of mineral water to go out, a staff member on the first floor noticed and proactively came over to attach a portable clip to the bottle so it could be hung.
We stayed here for two days, and it felt more and more comfortable with each passing night. The room was also very quiet. Additionally, right next to the hotel is an ancient observatory, which was once the Royal Observatory. It's well worth a visit, with volunteer guides who explain China's astronomical history beautifully. Highly recommended.
Pros:
Less than 2 mins away from a station and a walk away from sanlitun
Hotel is situated in a private parking lot so externally it's quieter.
Nearby food places avaliable.
Room felt nicely spaced.
There is a connecting Tim's, which opens early if you wanted a quick early breakfast.
Cons:
The room has poor sound proofing - you can hear people and practically most things outside.
Mysterious staining of bathroom floor
Main door let's in light.
If the card is taken out, the thermostat goes back to the original setting so you have to rest everytime
Window to the corridor - helped with ventilation but privacy is questionable (there a privacy shield over the window sill) but if contributes to the noise regardless of of the widow is closed or not.
The privacy screen of the shower (I feel) is literally useless. Should've just made it an opaque wall or had heavy curtains since the light shine through either way.
Bathroom door cannot be locked - the lock hole is misaligned.
Neutral
There's a gate on one side that closes between 8:00 to 19:00, still can be used of you have your room key, there is an alternative way to exist if you require that way through the connecting Tim's.
The hotel has a centralised heating system which affects the rooms but there is air-conditioning so it balances.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.

LLynn2hannaThis hotel is located on Wangfujing Street, within walking distance of the Forbidden City, and just two bus stops from Tiananmen Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The executive lounge was a lifesaver, providing two meals a day and afternoon tea for the elderly and children, saving us the hassle of planning where to eat. The swimming pool was the biggest surprise—it has both a regular pool and a heated children's pool. After swimming, you can even use the sauna in the changing area before heading back to your room feeling refreshed. The service was generally good. The only downside is that the executive lounge is a bit small and the food selection is limited, so I'd recommend having breakfast downstairs. We'll definitely be back, highly recommend!

YYongyuanzaijianfeidexiaochihuoTraveling to Beijing with my kids for a concert, after much deliberation, I still chose the Mandarin Oriental, a hotel I've always loved! Their consistently thoughtful service and excellent food proved my decision was spot on, haha~
The location of Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is unbeatable; it's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, with plenty of shopping malls and great dining options nearby. The large terrace on the 5th floor offers stunning views, and this time I even managed to capture the Forbidden City at sunset~
The semi-buffet breakfast with a la carte options is very convenient, and all the pastries are handmade daily, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed~
Many thanks to Rosie from Guest Relations, as well as Aimyon and Stena, who made my four-night stay truly delightful!

GGuest UserThe room was spacious with a fantastic view. The location was great, very close to Guomao, which is quite a walk for someone from northeast China, but still conveniently located in Beijing. The cleanliness was excellent, and the lobby staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic, which is rare to find in Beijing!

TTubulvxingdexiaoqieCame for a concert and after looking at many places, I chose Manxin Hotel on Jinyu Hutong. It turned out to be an excellent choice in terms of location, surrounding amenities, and hotel service. When you exit Metro C with luggage, you can take the elevator directly from the food court under Wangfujing Center to ground level, so you don't have to carry your luggage up stairs. Turn right on the street, and it's a 3-minute walk to the hotel. To the right of the hotel entrance are Siji Minfu and Grandpa Don't Steep Tea. Guests can ask the lobby staff to help them get a number in advance, which is super convenient. Further down, there's Fangzhuan Factory Zhajiangmian, and the famous Gege makeup studio at Wangfu Century. Across the street, there's a 7-Eleven. Right next to the subway station is Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. This location is absolutely fantastic! The hotel is standalone, unlike other hotels I've stayed at in Beijing that share a lobby with other establishments. Check-in was quick, and staff helped with my luggage. The room was very clean and had no strange odors. When I returned in the evening, the cleaning lady had left a note saying she had wiped my suitcase, which I really appreciated. However, I wasn't informed at check-in that the room card would deactivate at 12 PM on the day of check-out. So, even though I had a late check-out, I was locked out when I returned after 12 PM. Luckily, a cleaning lady nearby verified my information and helped me open the door. Other than that, I was very satisfied with this trip and experienced Beijing's hospitality, even though the weather was really hot. Next time I come to Beijing, I'll likely choose this place again; it's convenient for getting everywhere.

FFanfanbufanMy stay at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was truly unforgettable, and I deeply appreciated the brand's consistently high standard of service.
From the moment I arrived at the hotel entrance, my butler, Melody, personally greeted me and assisted with check-in. Throughout my entire stay, from check-in to my departure, she maintained a perfectly proactive yet unobtrusive service rhythm – meticulous and thoughtful, yet making me feel comfortable and at ease. Whenever I needed assistance, she was promptly there, while also maintaining appropriate boundaries. This professional yet warm and personalized service truly showcased Mandarin Oriental's service excellence.
I also want to specially commend Carla at the front desk. She was incredibly efficient and professional during both check-in and check-out, with smooth processes and a very warm and friendly attitude.
The dining experience was equally impressive. While dining at The Courtyard, Iris provided professional and detailed introductions for each dish, making the meal much richer and more enjoyable. For in-room dining, I chose to have hot pot in the courtyard, and Daisy and her team made thorough preparations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the overall setup was exquisitely arranged, creating a fantastic ambiance and perfect photo opportunities. The experience was absolutely exceptional.
Regarding the SPA, I'd like to extend a special thanks to Tiana at the front desk. She patiently explained the different treatments and helped me choose one that was perfectly suited for me. The next day, I returned for a facial treatment. The entire process was incredibly smooth and relaxing, and both therapists, Ivy and Sunny, were highly professional. The experience was excellent.
Every single staff member I encountered during my stay was highly dedicated, and you could truly feel the team's commitment to service quality. My experience at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was delightful, and I look forward to returning in the future.

GGuest UserThis experience was a bit disappointing! First, the good points: the accommodation package included a high-quality afternoon tea set, and the staff were very friendly! Now for the not-so-good parts: I'm not sure if it was due to the increased traffic during the May Day holiday, but the room cleaning was unsatisfactory. There were hairs everywhere, on the sofa and in the corners of the walls. I wonder if the previous guest had a pet. We had to request a second vacuum cleaning!
The evening BBQ buffet was definitely something to avoid. I've never had such a terrible BBQ. It felt like an immature dish added on a whim without any proper menu development! There were no labels at the buffet counter, and all the BBQ items were mixed together. We had to ask the staff, who then had to ask the chef, and the chef would then explain each item one by one. It was basically a 'mystery box' buffet. The scallops were overcooked and a bit tough. There was no juice at the buffet, and a star-rated hotel actually served cold mixed noodles (liangpi)!
The worst part was that the BBQ meat and grilled tendon weren't fully cooked. They lacked chewiness and that grilled flavor; it was more like they were par-boiled first and then grilled. The overall temperature of the food wasn't very hot, and if you didn't eat it quickly at your table, it would get cold. The only highlight was that the crayfish were decent. The watermelon at the buffet wasn't as good as the watermelon in the afternoon tea set. The dinner menu was actually worse than breakfast.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just over 100 meters from the subway station. The parking lot is very spacious, making parking a breeze. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the service is incredibly warm and attentive. The room amenities are very smart, and the bedding is extremely comfortable. It's especially suitable for tourists visiting Beijing from out of town.
