Hotel near Inner Harbour,Victoria
Unforgettable moments deserve extraordinary settings. Overlooking Victoria's Inner Harbour, Fairmont Empress ranks #2 in Travel + Leisure's 2024 Best Canadian Hotels. This Forbes-recommended, MICHELIN Key hotel offers 431 elegant rooms, a serene spa, and Q at the Empress with Pacific Northwest cuisine and award-winning wines. A visit isn't complete without world-famous Tea at the Empress, served in the Lobby Lounge with stunning Harbour views.

"Pros: 1. The hotel's location right by the Inner Harbour is convenient for visiting several nearby attractions. 2. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and gave us detailed information about the hotel's entertainment and dining facilities, as well as local sights. Knowing we were driving, they also informed us about parking (even though there's a charge). 3. The beds were comfortable. Cons: 1. Due to the hotel's age, the bathroom only has a bathtub, no separate shower. They've installed two glass panels to act as a splash guard, but there's a large gap between them, which means shower water still wets the entire bathroom floor. 2. The windows in the rooms facing the street aren't double-glazed, so the noise from passing vehicles at night is very loud. At over 4000 a night, the value for money is extremely low."

GGuest UserAbsolutely stunning view. Cabin was older but very charming, we made the most of the fireplace in the room and enjoyed a view of the lake from our balcony. Bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Coffee also provided in the room which was nice. I read the beds were uncomfortable on other reviews and I’d partially agree - not the best but again not the main reason or expectation for visiting emerald lake. I will say the pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable.  Staff were very friendly and attentive. Shuttle service was easy. Restaurant was pricey but overall good. No wifi or signal in the room is something to be aware of, but heightened the experience in my opinion. Overall, great!

CCrAzYd426This hotel Actually Better than I expected coz the reviews said it sucks……🤪 I think not too bad indeed tho I haven’t visit the gym yet…. I have no complaint for the room, I think it’s good to have microwave and coffee machine in the room and the lobby has coffee machine with different choice of coffee, it’s so good! 😊 Also there is a Korea Town (about 5 minutes walking from Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station, this hotel about 10-15 minutes walking distant from the Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station). There are many restaurants nearby, also there is Lougheed Town Centre (a shopping mall) it’s so convenient 👍🏻 I think it’s ok to stay a night or two but of coz the cleanliness and management could be better 😉 #RamadabyWyndhamCoquitlam #Coquitlam #Vancouver2024

GGuest UserGood value for a quick stopover. The staff are lovely and the location is perfect for transit users, with bus stops just a short walk away. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, though the fan was a bit noisy. If you’re a light sleeper, try to request a room away from the stairs/gate to avoid the sound of people passing by. Since it faces an adjacent building, it's very quiet at night with no street noise.

GGuest UserPlace is located at the Main Street. Staffs are so friendly and fast in their service. Room is clean and the amenities are pretty complete (especially as family of four, the mini fridge, plates, spoons, knife, cups, microwave, are very helpful). The only unpleasant thing is we can hear our neighbors talking and they are pretty loud, but not during the night.
