The room uses a 🔐password lock to open the door, which is very convenient and you don't have to worry about bringing keys. The room is equipped with distilled water and basic cooking utensils, which is very practical for short-term stay. You can enjoy the fireworks at night from the terrace 🎆, the atmosphere is romantic and surprising! It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the night market. The cable car station and the famous ”Kissing Bridge” are also nearby. The location is super convenient. The overall experience was great, highly recommended!
It's a nice hotel with a nice welcome drink and a cool towel. I hope to have a bigger portion of welcome drinks and give goodbye drinks as well. I prefer a hot towel than a cool towel during the check-in.
My room has a good view of the fireworks, nice!!!

The place is a tropical paradise with an astonishing beach and gardens. They offer an outstanding island experience with a very nice night market opposite the hotel. The rooms are brand new with all the needed comfort. But it’s also noticeable that the area is so big that staff are not capable
Of keeping it tidy and clean. There was another room in our villa that had the door open during all our stay. We had a small incident in the bathroom with the mirror falling when I went to sleep. But the management reacted very quickly and fixed everything. Despite that it was a bit scary and luckily that the mirror didnt break. It was not fixed very well to the wall. The breakfast is good. Would come back despite the small issues that we has
First the food in room service is very bad quality and overpriced. I've got sick and we had to use it but i preferred stay hungry then. Not enoug sunbeds at the beach: you should go to the beach not later then 8 am to get a couch. Only one person speaks good english at reception and is really helpful and nice guy named Felix. Other staff gives you wrong information and their english is hardly understandable. During the morning time they shower the grass and it smells with a toilet septic.
The breakfast is ok and location is perfect. The beach itself is probably the best at Phu Qu Ok
I was very disappointed by my stay, unexpected much better service from Movenpick.
The worst part is that the hotel is located near something that looks like a factory or maybe a recycling plant, and there is constant smog on the territory. We literally had to escape the resort everyday to breathe normal air in the other parts of the island.
The food choice was also disappointing, no seafood like you'd expect to have on the island.
But the hotel and beach are very clean. The housekeeping department really do the job well.
The hotel offers free breakfast and chocolate hour (3:30-4:30pm). The breakfast has a great selection of local and international food. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. We stayed 2 nights at direct pool access room with a small nice garden. It is a big resort, they have a free buggy service to travel between the buildings. It is walkable distance about 10 mins walk to the main building and the beach.
The hotel is located at the north of the island. While the location may seem a bit far, but it’s centrally located on the island, making it easy to explore. They have free shuttle service back and forth to the airport every 2 hours. The hotel doesn’t have any scooter for rent, no scooter shop near by, so we took a free buggy to the main gate and took a free vinbus to Grand World (15 mins to Grand World), and also we booked hotel pay shuttle bus to the night market (20 mins to night market), 6pm pick up from the hotel and 9:20pm to return to the hotel.
There is one mini mart and a nice coffee and massage shop right next to the main gate, you can take the free buggy to the main gate, the vinbus stop just next to the main gate. The vinbus service is free in Phu Quoc Island. There is a big supermarket Z Mart just one bus stop away from the hotel.
Everything was fine and nice, we would definitely return. (Please see the photos for the buggy schedule and the location of the vinbus stop)
I stayed here because of a morning flight, but I actually didn't have high expectations because I've stayed there several times. It's expensive for the size of the facility... I wish the lobby was a little cooler. I was sweating while checking in.
There are a lot of 4-star hotels in Rakja, so I stayed one night with my friends after reading the reviews.
Although it is a bit old, I had a good rest at a reasonable price.
The pool isn't that small and my friends enjoyed swimming in the slightly salty water.
I will visit again next time I have the chance.
Stayed in Building B, Deluxe Suite Ocean View, 3rd floor. The room was indeed beautiful and comfortable, but starting from 9 or 10 AM, extremely loud music with heavy bass made it impossible to sleep.
We had already paid for the airport transfer when booking. Before checking in, we communicated via messages that we would be changing hotels after checkout and not leaving Phu Quoc. (I thought we could take the shuttle to the airport and then head to our next hotel ourselves.) However, they insisted that I provide a flight number to arrange the shuttle. Later, they told me to arrange the timing with the front desk upon check-in.
When I checked in, I asked the front desk if we could be dropped off at our next hotel instead of the airport since it was along the way. They said OK, and there was no need to arrange the time in advance—we could confirm it on the checkout day. However, it turned out they were referring to the free VinBus, not the hotel's paid shuttle service that I had already paid for. The front desk staff at check-in completely misled us, and as a result, we were unable to use the hotel shuttle.
We noticed that the door lock kept beeping, and our keycard couldn’t open the door. We asked a hotel staff member to report the issue, assuming it would be fixed by the time we returned. However, when we got back at night, the problem was still there. I had to walk to the front desk again, and it seemed like no one had addressed our request, meaning it had been completely ignored. Finally, they helped us enter the room and told us the door lock battery was low and could only be fixed the next day.
We ordered room service for a late-night snack, but by early morning, I had diarrhea, and my girlfriend was vomiting. I was left completely drained and unable to continue our itinerary. When we reported this suspected food poisoning incident at checkout, the front desk simply said, ”Okay, we will pass on the message,” and that was it. No apology, no compensation.
Only the exterior looks five-star, but everything else fails miserably.
Rooms:
The layout is quite nice and the room (& balcony) is big enough for 2 pax. It can disturbing sometimes during daytime as there’s construction (?) works nearby. Quite a few bugs found in bed.
Service:
The check in & out process are satisfactory, however, there’re quite some poor arrangement during my stay. I called and face to face confirmed the reservation of additionally-charged daily activities, nevertheless, the staff told me that the booking had already been cancelled when I have arrived at the time of event. The staff was trying to communicate with the others through calls and texts, but it didn’t help much. So, we just led it go and left, our itinerary could have been much better without this happened.
We have once dined in the restaurant besides the pool. Warm reminder for you that you can’t leave the bill until checking out your room and you’re gonna pay as soon as your meal is done. I was confused why the staff had to ask for my room number tho.
Location:
Nice as it is by the beach, but it takes you like 15 mins to go to Sunset Town. Free shuttle is available each half an hour within certain period, but it can be too full for you to hop on. I used grab and buggy during my stay instead.

GGuest UserExperience an excellent stay at Grand World Phu Quoc. Located ideally near the beautiful beach for relaxation and just moments from VinWonders for thrilling excitement. This destination offers the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. Highly recommend this fantastic getaway experience for a memorable trip.

HHappyDad168Pros: Great location, well equipped kitchen. You can see the fireworks in your room without going outside!!
Cons: Almost Nothing !! One little thing which is annoying is that there is a little “noise” in the main bedroom, you can hear it clearly during night time sleeping… But the second night we were getting used to it lol~
DDenis_SVery cool apartments, there is everything you need for living. The kitchen has enough dishes, modern appliances, including an air grill and a multicooker. There is a washing machine with a built-in dryer, very convenient in a vacation environment not to wait for the laundry to dry. A comfortable bed, from which you do not even want to get up. A full-fledged apartment with all the amenities, everything is clean. Convenient location, 5-7 minutes to the beach. There are many cafes and small shops nearby. It is a pity that we booked only for 4 nights, we would have stayed here longer.
수수산물어시장When you enter the apartment lobby, the staff in charge will kindly explain everything to you, and they are especially good at English. They speak very fast, so it can be difficult to hear. However, they are very kind and greet you kindly every time we meet, and if there is anything inconvenient, they will kindly explain it to you via KakaoTalk. Since it is a newly built building, the facilities are clean, and the prices are not expensive. And you can drink on the apartment balcony while enjoying the warm sunlight in the morning, the sunset in the evening, and the nightly fireworks festival, so I highly recommend it. You can make really good memories and experiences. However, since it is an island and the season is summer, you must spray bug repellent before going out to avoid mosquito bites! And cleaning is charged separately, so you don't have to use it unless it's too dirty, and towels are provided for free every day if you request them (you have to ask for them). There are cutlery, glasses (wine glasses, under-the-rock glasses), a freezer and refrigerator (you can make ice), a washing machine, so you can do laundry, and a swimming pool on the 19th floor (there's only a swimming pool. They don't sell food and drinks). There's a gym on the 1st floor and a mart nearby, but I thought it was more profitable to go to the Select Mart in the Sunset Town Night Market and buy things (there are many types). Please note that it closes at 11 pm. There's a trash can in the hallway, so you can take it and throw it away, and the TV is LG, so you can watch Netflix and YouTube, so please note. You can easily get off by taking the escalator near the accommodation, so don't have a hard time going around in circles!
SSuong NgWe rented a Studio Apartment with a kitchen which had everything we needed. Host was really friendly & helpful. The room is very clean and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we’re able to rent a motorbike from the hotel to explore the island.
LLily123I would give this Hotel for 5/5, The room is so clean, fancy, all facilities are new and modern, the bed is comfort, and the view out of Window is super stunning, I can’t forget the Sea view there, plus it location on the top of Sunset town, view is very wide angle, Day time you see the infinite sea view, and Night time you can enjoy the Show and Sunset for free. More over the Hotel sister English is really good, we don’t have any difficulty in communication, And I have to mention she really friendly and helpful, I personally really recommend this stay!
AAnna and MarkThis hotel is for you if you like a measured and calm holiday. Away from the hustle and bustle. Comfortable, homely atmosphere, there is a kitchen and everything you need to cook your favorite dishes. Within walking distance of the market and supermarket, you can rent a motorbike. Not far away are two good beaches. Hospitable and very helpful staff. We wanted to stay for a few days, but in the end decided to stay here for a month. The next time you visit Phu Quoc, we are considering staying here.
TTerryIs like a shophouse. Ground floor sells drinks and juices (shop name is Power MIA), upper floors are the rooms. Location itself is great, right in the heart of Grand World although it might be a little hard to find if you rely heavily on google map cause the entire area is not mapped accurately in google maps. Room was great and clean. Our room was at lvl 2, in addition to the in-room batheoom/toilet, there's another toilet outside our room which was actually meant for the cafe customers.
