Got upgraded to a second floor sea view villa so we were very happy :) Gorgeous panorama ocean view plus overlooking the pool from the balcony. Huge room and toilet. Comfortable bedding and towels. Amenities are good. Daily housekeeping with complimentary bottled water.
Note there’s no lift so guests would need to take about 15 stairs to get to the room.
I saw an ads billboard on the beach and booked a long-tail boat day trip to nearby islands. Price is half what the hotel asks but would assume the hotel’s boats are more premium and better decorated. Guests can board the boat from the beach.
Swimming pool is warm as it embraces sunlight across almost the entire day. Depth is 1.3 metres so good for both experienced and amateur swimmers. There’s also 0.4m swimming area and spa.
Plenty of lounges around the pool and along the beach. There’s also happy hour from the bar on the beachfront.
Restaurant food is of good quality and price. Breakfasts met the normal standards of such hotels, although not too exciting we were satisfied with the flavours and number of options.
Outside the hotel there are also a good number of great eating places, bars, convenience stores and massage shops.
During our stay the hotel restaurant had local musicians play live music at dinner time. They also had seadood bbq promotions. The beachfront restaurant next door has evening fire shows that hotel guests can enjoy while eating.
We drove so transport is not an issue. I’d recommend hiring a bike or car as it makes much easier to go around.
Not too impressed with the porter hinting a tip by lingering in the room after he moved in our luggage but I guess that’s how he supports his family well.
Overall it’s a great place to stay and value for money. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

I stayed at GLOW Ao Nang for 5D4N and had a really pleasant experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and a nice balcony view. Housekeeping did a great job every day.
The location is super convenient—just a short walk to Ao Nang Beach, restaurants, convenience stores, and massage places. Despite being close to the main street, the hotel is tucked in a quiet corner so you can still get a peaceful night’s sleep.
The pool was a great place to relax after a day of island-hopping, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were also kind enough to help us with tour bookings and transport.
Overall, GLOW Ao Nang is great value for money. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms, services and locations are good. Only problem is the noise.
Unfortunately we were located in building #2 with a room directly on the street. Very noisy until 23:00 and start again early morning.
The hotel location is good but make sure to ask for a room far from the street.
Avoid also the rooms near the swimming pool as music is loud, hard to relax by the pool. If you plan to read books or even work on your emails, stay away from the loudspeakers.
Breakfast is good but a lot of improvement could be done to improve the customer experience.
Eggs station is in the middle which mean customer’s are queuing in the middle and blocking the way.. Would be much better for the customer flow if eggs station is on a side. Easy at no cost.
Only three coffee machines for a large hotel. That could be fine if it was efficient machines. I’ve never seen so slow coffee machines. Makes no sense to have a full cup of Americano. I waited 20 minutes for a coffee until it run out of water and coffee beans empty. All customers in the waiting line complained about the speed. Yes it is holidays and we have time but while family had breakfast, I was queuing for coffee !
Espresso was fast but when other customers took Americano or Cappuccino, it is incredibly slow.
Room wasn’t ready before 15:30.
Very noisy street, building 2 is probably the worst.
Room 2307 electrical plugs doesn’t work. Only one out of four could be used. We use two flat connectors type. Would be great to replace plugs.
Water in the alley from room 2305, 2303 every morning, certainly after the guest showers.

Cuz we checkin late maybe that’s why very unluckily I got the worst room ever. It’s so damp and comes with a musky smell. My worst 2 night stay in Krabi, the floor is wet almost 24h (see picture) and even if I dry my hair the next morning it will feel damp from the moisture in the air. Not sure on the reason for the dampness. But the location and the breakfast is really good. Around 10min walk to the beach, mcd and Watson is just opposite. A lot of nice cafe nearby. Didn’t use the pool but it’s looks nice and big too. Just really disappointed with the room, looking at the rest of the review it’s feels like I’m just really unlucky and gotten the worst room.
Forest-style resort hotel, with comfortable rooms and a crib provided. The breakfast is also very rich, with various delicious options. The restaurant and bar in the hotel also have a particularly good environment. If you don't like to spend money in the hotel, the nearby small village is also very close, which is convenient for dining and travel. There are snorkeling projects in the small village, and you can also choose to go fishing in the sea. There are also bars in the village, which are very lively in the evening. The check-in experience is very good, and I will come again if I have the chance.
We had the best time at Twin Lotus.
All employees are super nice & helpful. We stayed there for 3 nights, in the rooms near the beach, very recommended.
On arrival, we received a room that had no roof to its balcony, plus it was connected to another room.
The reception staff was helpful & let us move to another room with the required balcony roof for the following 2 nights.
Breakfast is good and varied.
We chose to use the hotel's offers for a rented motorbike & and island hopping, although you can find it cheaper in town. But you can try and negotiate if you'd like.
All in all, I highly recommend staying at the twin lotus hotel.
Breakfasts are excellent. Prices in the restaurant and spa are reasonable. Hot springs and the hotel grounds are well-kept and very beautiful. The staff is friendly, but the room was not cleaned very well. Keep in mind that the hotel is remote from civilization, and it will be difficult to get there. I liked the vacation there, I recommend it.

Breakfast- smaller selection than usual five stars but it was high quality.
Activities- so much to do if you’re into fitness! Hyrox, Spartan, HITT, Muay Thai, rock climbing (some have surcharges- need to Check)
Service- I found this lacking in terms of front desk service and phone as everything you are asked to dial 0. Maybe it’s the language barrier.
Ten step onsen- only available 2 timings/day 11am and 5pm so you really have to plan your time around it which was annoying so we did not end up doing
Late check out- not available! Allowed to use facilities, only open shower available and change at the spa.
Beach club- free use of bean bags for hotel guest. But usage of pool is chargeable with minimum spend (depending where you choose to sit it’s a different price) free activities for hotel guest- kayak, paddle board, padel )
Pool- take note pool not allowed for kids below 12. I found the hotel very stingy with towels. Also lack service. Nobody comes to you to offer menu and ask what you’d like, I had to look high and low for attention.
As you walk out from Varana. there are some restaurant options (6-8 restaurants) very affordable.
Overall, we had a good time but lacked the magic somehow.

I was holding off writing this review, but the hotel has had 3 days to respond to my email, which was ignored, so here goes. The hotel itself is great. The location is the main selling point. The room we had was a villa near the sunrise side and although it was a bit dark it was a good size and had everything we needed. The problem I had, and have not received a response regarding, was the airport pickup I arranged with the hotel. We've traveled a lot as a family in Thailand and use Bolt/Grab regularly but as we needed a driver from Phuket airport right to the hotel I decided to book directly with the hotel and pay the extra price as I presumed they'd send a professional driver and the extra money would be worth it for a mote reliable service. Around 45 mins into the drive, my husband had to shout at the driver as he had fallen asleep whilst driving. In the van, we had our 8 year old son and my parents in law. So we all spent the remaining 1.5 hours paranoid, and all staring at the driver to check, he was awake. He was constantly on his phone, replying to messages, and the incessant notifications were super annoying. I can't conform this as the hotel is ignoring my email, but I suspect that rather than sending a driver they'd employed, they had just booked a tour operator from Phuket. I could have done this myself for much less than they'd charged me, but like I said, I presumed that booking with them would give me a bit more safety and security. On the way back to Phuket, we took a speedboat, which was a much better experience, and I'd recommend this rather than a driver. So for the fact that my family was put in a dangerous situation, I will not return to the hotel.

IIvan KraljThere are many good things about this hotel:
- located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping
- welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor
- free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht)
- small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own
- vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library
- rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;))
What could be improved?
- big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :(
- I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom
- no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?)
- just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel)
- even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm
- the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags?
- i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?
FflyingsquirreltravelThe prices of the rooms were very reasonable! The room was very clean and cute! :) nice water pressure for the shower . Good noise barrier for the walls so I had a sound sleep every night. The staff was very warm and welcoming to me from day 1. The distance to AoNang beach wasn’t too far, either. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
MMichael Frost 10The hotel is in an OK location to get to the night market, the pier & obviously the nearest beach which is nice. However, without a bike you will struggle to explore much past this area without using Tuk Tuks. Our balcony faced the main road so was very very loud & only had one chair. Fan & A/C are good. Receptionists are lovely people.
GGuest UserIt was an excellent experience of staying there. Everything was so good. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Only one issue is there is no lift so it's difficult to go to the upper floors. Other than this we enjoyed every bit of staying there. For future improvement they might keep sandals in the washroom.
陈陈Ha Wei takes the elderly and children and usually cooks breakfast by himself, so this one has a kitchen specially selected. The hotel owner is very considerate, and puts drinks and bread in the refrigerator, all for free. Seeing that we took the kids and brought us two large inflatable swimming laps. One day it rained all day, and I really didn’t want to eat outside. The lady boss even drove us to the market. We were all embarrassed that day, it was raining and we went to several places to buy it. The hotel here helps to rent motorcycles and cars at a discount. The environment here is very good, about 5 minutes walk to the beach, 7-11 is also close. The only point is that there is a small slope when entering the hotel from the road. If you have limited mobility, you should consider this. The elderly in my family are in good health, even if they are more than 80 years old, no problem. Also, we stayed for the first night. I didn’t know it was raining at night. We all slept soundly. The hotel staff also helped to collect the clothes. I was so touched😹. Write so many comments for the first time!
DDANI came back to Samui for Long Island because I stayed for a day and found this place near to our favorite seaside restaurant. Although I only slept in the hotel for one night and immediately set off, I was very impressed and suitable for long-term residence.
GGuest UserLocated on a hill away from the beach, walk 10-15 minutes to the beach.
The hotel provides breakfast for an additional fee, we tried it once, it was not very good, the price is the same as everywhere else, but does not compare with other places.
I liked the rooftop pool, you can watch the sunset, the place is certainly picturesque, the Krabi Mountains are top!
Normal for your money👌
